1 ¶ The God of gods, even the LORD, has spoken and convocated the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

(По слав. 49). Асафов псалом. Господ Бог Иеова е говорил и призовал земята От изгряването на слънцето до захождането му.

2 O ut of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined forth.

От Сион, съвършенството на красотата, Бог е възсиял.

3 O ur God shall come and shall not keep silence; a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Нашият Бог ще дойде и няма да мълчи; Ще има пред Него огън поглъщащ, И около Него силна буря.

4 H e shall convocate the heavens of above, and the earth, that he may judge his people.

Ще призове небесата отгоре, И земята, за да съди людете Си, казвайки:

5 G ather my merciful ones together unto me, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

Съберете Ми Моите светии, Които направиха с Мене завет с жертви.

6 A nd the heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is the judge. Selah.

И небесата ще известят правдата Му, Защото сам Бог е съдия. (Села)

7 ¶ Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee; I am God, even thy God.

Слушайте, люде Мои, и ще говоря, - Израилю, и ще заявя пред тебе: Бог, твоят Бог съм Аз.

8 I will not reprove thee regarding thy sacrifices; thy burnt offerings are continually before me.

Не ще да те изоблича поради жертвите ти, Нито поради твоите всеизгаряния, които са винаги пред Мене,

9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

Не ща да приема юнец от къщата ти, Нито козли от стадата ти;

10 F or every beast of the forest is mine and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

Защото Мои са всичките горски зверове, И добитъкът, който е по хиляди хълмове.

11 I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are with me.

Познавам всичките планински птици, И полските зверове са в ума Ми.

12 I f I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine and the fullness thereof.

Ако огладнеех, не щях да кажа на тебе; Защото Моя е вселената и всичко що има в нея.

13 M ust I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

Ще ям ли Аз месо от юнци? Ще пия ли кръв от козли?

14 S acrifice praise unto God and pay thy vows unto the most High

Принеси Богу жертва на хваление, И изпълни на Всевишния обреците си;

15 a nd call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

И призови Ме в ден на напаст; И Аз ще те избавя; и ти ще Ме прославиш.

16 ¶ But unto the wicked God saith, What part hast thou to declare my statutes or that thou should take my covenant in thy mouth?

Но на нечестивия казва Бог: Що правиш ти та разгласяваш Моите повеления, И разказваш завета Ми с устата си,

17 S eeing thou dost hate chastening and dost cast my words behind thee.

Тъй като сам ти мразиш поука, И хвърляш зад себе си Моите думи?

18 W hen thou didst see a thief, then thou didst consent with him and hast been partaker with adulterers.

Ако видиш крадец, тичаш с него, И с прелюбодейците участвуваш.

19 T hou didst give thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frames deceit.

Предаваш устата си на зло. И езикът ти устройва коварство.

20 T hou didst sit and speak against thy brother; thou didst slander thine own mother’s son.

Като седиш, говориш против брата си; Разсяваш клетвата против сина на майка си.

21 T hese things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou didst think that I was altogether such a one as thyself, but I will reprove thee and set them in order before thine eyes.

Понеже си сторил това, и Аз премълчах, Ти си помислил, че съм съвсем подобен на тебе; Но Аз ще те изоблича, и ще изредя всичко това пред очите ти.

22 N ow consider this, ye that forget God, lest I take you away, and there be none to deliver.

Разсъдете, прочее, за това, вие, които забравяте Бога, Да не би да ви разкъсам, без да се намери кой да ви избави.

23 W hosoever sacrifices praise glorifies me; and to him that orders his ways aright I will show the salvation of God.

Който принася жертва на хвала, той Ме прославя; И на онзи, който оправя пътя си, ще покажа Божието спасение.
