1 ¶ Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take a great roll and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Mahershalal-hashbaz.

И Господ ми рече: Вземи си една голяма писателска дъска та пиши на нея с обикновени букви - За Махер-шалал-хаш-база;

2 A nd I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

и аз си избрах за верни свидетели свещеника Урия и Захария Еверехиевия син.

3 A nd I went unto the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the LORD said to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

Прочее, отидох при пророчицата; и тя зачна и роди син. И Господ ми рече: Наречи го Махер-шалал-хаш-баз;

4 F or before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.

Защото преди да се научи детето да вика - Татко мой! и - Майко моя! богатството на Дамаск и користите на Самария ще се занесат пред асирийския цар.

5 T he LORD also spoke unto me again, saying,

И Господ ми говори пак, казвайки:

6 F orasmuch as this people refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly and rejoiced in Rezin and Remaliah’s son,

Понеже тия люде се отказаха от тихо течащите силоамски води, И се радват за Расина и за Ромелиевия син,

7 n ow therefore, behold, the Lord brings up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria and all his power, and he shall come up over all his channels and go over all his banks:

Затова, ето, Господ възвежда върху тях Силните и големи води на Ефрат, Асирийския цар и всичката му слава; И като прелее всичките си канали И наводни всичките си брегове,

8 A nd he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.

Ще нахлуе и през Юда, ще наводни и ще прелее, ще стигне до гуша, И прострените му крила ще напълнят Ширината на земята ти, Емануиле.

9 ¶ Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries, prepare yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.

Строшете се, народи, бъдете разломени, И (чуйте всички, които сте в далечни страни!) Опашете се; но ще бъдете разломени; Опашете се; но ще бъдете разломени.

10 T ake counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand, for God is with us.

Съветвайте помежду си, но съветването ще се осуети; Говорете дума, но тя няма да стои; Защото Бог е с нас.

11 F or the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

Защото така ми говори Господ със силна ръка, И научи ме да не ходя в пътя на тия люде, като каза:

12 D o not say, A confederacy, to all those to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear their fear, nor be afraid.

Да не наречете съюз всичко което тия люде наричат съюз, И да не се боите от това, от което те се боят, Нито да се плашите.

13 S anctify the LORD of the hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Господа на Силите - Него осветете, От Него да се страхувате, и пред Него да треперите.

14 T hen he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock to cause a fall to both the houses of Israel, for a snare and for a net to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

И Той ще бъде за светилище, - Но и за камък, о който да се спъват, и за канара, поради която да се оскърбяват Двата Израилеви дома, - За мрежа и за примка на ерусалимските жители.

15 A nd many among them shall stumble and fall and be broken and be snared and be taken.

И о Него мнозина ще се спънат, ще паднат и ще се съкрушат, И в нея ще се впримчат и ще се уловят.

16 ¶ Bind up the testimony; seal the law among my disciples.

Завържи увещанието, Запечатай поуката между учениците Ми.

17 A nd I will wait for the LORD, who hid his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

И аз ще чакам Господа, който крие лицето Си от Якововия дом, И на Него ще се надея.

18 B ehold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of the hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.

Ето, аз и децата, които ми е дал Господ, Сме за знамение и за предвещания в Израиля От Господа на Силите, Който обитава на хълма Сион.

19 A nd when they shall say unto you, Seek unto spiritists and unto wizards that peep and that mutter; shall the people not seek unto their God? Shall we appeal for the living unto the dead?

И когато ви рекат: Допитвайте се до запитвачите на зли духове, И до врачовете, които шепнат и мърморят, отговорете: Не трябва ли един народ да се допита до своя Бог? Ще прибегне ли при мъртвите заради живите?

20 T o the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Нека прибегнат при закона и при свидетелството! Ако не говорят според това слово, Наистина няма зазоряване за тях.

21 T hen they shall pass through this land, fatigued and hungry, and it shall come to pass that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves and curse their king and their God. And raising their face high,

И ще минат през тая земя зле притискани и изгладнели; И когато огладнеят ще негодуват, Ще злословят царя си и Бога си. И ще погледнат нагоре.

22 t hey shall look upon the earth and behold tribulation and gross darkness, darkness and anguish; and they shall be submerged in gross darkness.

После ще се върнат в земята, И ето скръб и тъмнина, мрак на измъчване, И широко разпространена черна нощ.
