За гдето взеха водителството в Израиля военачалниците, За гдето доброволно се предадоха людете, Хвалете Господа.

3 H ear, O ye kings. Give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will praise the LORD God of Israel.

Чуйте, царе! дайте ухо, първенци! Ще пея, аз ще пея, Господу; На Господа Бога Израилева ще пея хвала.

4 L ORD, when thou didst go out of Seir, when thou didst march out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped; the clouds also dropped water.

Господи, когато излезе Ти от Сиир, Когато тръгна от полето Едом Земята се потресе, също и небето покапа, Ей, облаците покапаха вода.

5 T he mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.

Планините се разтопиха от присъствието Господно, Самият Синай от присъствието на Господа Бога Израилева.

6 ¶ In the days of Shamgar, the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways ceased, and those that walked went astray through crooked paths.

В дните на Самегара Анатовия син, В дните на Яил, пътищата бяха напуснати, И пътниците вървяха по пътеки настрана.

Далеч от кипежа на стрелците, На места гдето черпят вода, Там да възхваляват правдините на Господа, Праведните дела на владичеството Му в Израиля. Тогава людете Господни слязоха при портите.

12 ¶ Rise up, rise up, Deborah; rise up, rise up, sing a song. Stand up, Barak and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.

Събуди се, събуди се, Деворо! Събуди се, събуди се, изпей песен! Стани, Вараче, И заплени пленниците си, сине Авиноамов!

Тогава направи остатък от людете да владеят благородните; Господ ме направи да владея силните.

И първенците Исахарови бяха с Девора, Исахар още с Варака, Спуснаха се подир него в долината. При потоците Рувимови Велики бяха сърдечните решения.

26 S he put her hand to the stake, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer, and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.

Ръката си простря към кола, И десницата си към работническия млат; И с млат удари Сисара и промуши му главата, Ей, проби и прониза слепите му очи.

27 A t her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down; at her feet he bowed, he fell; where he bowed, there he fell down dead.

При нозете й се повали, падна; простря се; При нозете й се повали, падна; Дето се повали, там и падна мъртъв.

28 T he mother of Sisera looked out the window and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why do the wheels of his chariots tarry?

Сисаровата майка надничаше през прозореца И викаше през решетката: Защо се бави да дойде колесницата му? Защо закъсняха колелата на колесницата му?

29 H er wise princesses answered her; and she even answered to herself,

Мъдрите нейни госпожи й отговаряха, Даже и тя давеше отговор на себе си:

30 H ave they not found spoil and are dividing it? To each man a damsel or two; to Sisera a spoil of different colours, a spoil of different colours of needlework, of different colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of those that take the spoil?

Не са ли намерили да делят користи? По мома, по две моми, на всеки мъж; На Сисара користи от пъстрошарени дрехи, Користи от пъстрошарени везани дрехи, От пъстрошарени дрехи везани от двете страни, за шиите на момите взети в корист.

31 S o let all thine enemies perish, O LORD, but let those that love thee be as the sun when he rises in all his might. And the land had rest forty years.

Така да погинат всички твои врази, Господи; А ония, които Те любят, да бъдат като слънцето, когато изгрява в силата си. След това, земята имаше спокойствие четиридесет години.
