1 ¶ Aleph Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

2 B eth O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.

Боже мой, на Тебе съм уповал; Да се не посрамя, Да не тържествуват неприятелите ми над мене.

3 G imel Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed; those which rebel without cause shall be ashamed.

Наистина, никой, който чака Тебе, няма да се посрами; Ония ще се посрамят, които, без причина, постъпват коварно.

4 D aleth Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

Направи ме, Господи, да позная пътищата Ти, Научи ме на пътеките Си.

5 H e Cause me to walk in thy truth and teach me: for thou art the God of my saving health; I have waited for thee all the day.

Води ме в истината Си и учи ме; Защото Ти си Бог на Спасението ми; Тебе чакам цял ден.

6 V au Remember, O LORD, thy compassion and thy mercies, for they have been ever of old.

Помни, Господи, благите Си милости И милосърдията Си, защото са от века.

7 Z ain Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my rebellions; according to thy mercy remember me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.

Недей помни греховете на младостта ми, нито престъпленията ми; Помни ме, Господи, според милосърдието Си и заради благостта Си.

8 ¶ Cheth Good and upright is the LORD: therefore he will teach sinners in the way.

Господ е благ и праведен. Затова ще научи грешните на пътя Си.

9 T eth He will cause the humble to pass through the judgment, and the meek he will teach his way.

Ще води кротките с правда. И ще научи кротките на пътя Си.

10 J od All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Всичките пътеки на Господа са милосърдие и вярност Към ония, които пазят завета Му и избавлението Му.

11 C aph For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my iniquity; for it is great.

Заради името Си, Господи, Прости моето беззаконие, защото е голямо.

12 L amed Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

Бои ли се човек от Господа?- Него Той ще настави кой път да избере.

13 M em His soul shall rest in that which is good; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Душата ме ще живее в спокойствие, И потомството му ще наследи земята.

14 N un The secret of the LORD is for those that fear him, and he will show them his covenant.

Интимното благоволение на Господа е с ония, които Му се боят, И ще им покаже завета Си.

15 ¶ Samech Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

Моите очи са винаги към Господа, Защото Той ще измъкне им мрежата нозете ми.

16 A in Turn thee unto me and have mercy upon me, for I am desolate and afflicted.

Обърни се към мене и смили се за мене, Защото съм усамотен и наскърбен.

17 T zaddi The troubles of my heart are enlarged; O bring thou me out of my distresses.

Облекчи скърбите на сърцето ми, Изведи ме из утесненията ми.

18 R esh Look upon my affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins.

Вгледай се в угнетението ми и тегобата ми. И прости всичките ми грехове.

19 R esh Consider my enemies, for they are multiplied; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

Виж неприятелите ми, защото са много, И с люта ненавист ме мразят.

20 S chin O keep my soul and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in thee.

Пази душата ми и избави ме; Да се не посрамя, защото на тебе уповавам.

21 T au Integrity and uprightness shall preserve me, for I have waited for thee.

Незлобие и правота нека ме пазят, Защото Тебе чакам.

22 P e Ransom Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Боже избави Израиля От всичките му беди.
