1 ¶ Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

(По слав. 31). Давидов псалом. Поучение. Блажен оня, чието престъпление е простено, Чиито грях е покрит.

2 B lessed is the man unto whom the LORD does not impute iniquity and in whose spirit there is no guile.

Блажен оня човек, комуто Господ не вменява беззаконие, И в чиито дух няма измама.

3 W hen I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

Когато мълчах, овехтяха костите ми От охкането ми всеки ден;

4 F or day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my green growth is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

Понеже денем и нощем ръката Ти тежеше върху мене, Влагата ми се обърна на лятна суша. (Села).

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and I have not hid my iniquity. I said, I will confess (against myself) my rebellions unto the LORD, and thou shalt forgive the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Признах греха си пред Тебе, и беззаконието си не скрих; Рекох: Ще изповядам Господу престъпленията си; И ти прости вината на греха ми. (Села).

6 F or this shall every one that is merciful pray unto thee in the time when thou may be found; surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near unto him.

За това нещо нека ти се моли всеки благочестив На време, когато може да се намери то; Наистина, когато големите води преливат Те няма да стигнат до него.

7 ¶ Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Ти си прибежище мое; Ти ще ме пазиш от скръб; С песни на избавление ще ме окръжаваш. (Села).

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will fix mine eyes upon thee.

Аз ще те вразумя, и ще те науча Пътя, по който трябва да ходиш; Ще те съветвам, Като върху тебе ще бъде окото Ми.

9 B e ye not as the horse or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in subjection with bit and bridle, or they will not come near unto thee.

Не бивайте като кон или като мъска, Които нямат разум; За чиито челюсти трябва оглавник и юзда, за да ги държат, Иначе, не биха се приближавали при Тебе.

10 T here are many sorrows for the wicked; but he that waits in the LORD, mercy shall compass him round about.

Много ще бъдат скърбите на нечестивия; Но онзи, който уповава на Господа, Милост ще го окръжи.

11 B e glad in the LORD and rejoice, ye righteous, and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Веселете се в Господа и радвайте се, праведници, И викайте с радост всички, които сте с право сърце.
