1 ¶ Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and unto them were born sons after the flood.

4 A nd the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Dodanim.

Bijtë e Javanit qenë: Elishami, Tarshishi, Kitimi dhe Dodanimi.

5 B y these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands, each one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

6 ¶ And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan.

8 A nd Cush begat Nimrod. He began to be powerful in the earth.

Kushit i lindi Nimrodi, që filloi të jetë një njeri i fuqishëm mbi tokë.

9 H e was a powerful hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, Even as Nimrod, the powerful hunter before the LORD.

10 A nd the beginning of his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Accad and Calneh in the land of Shinar.

Dhe fillimi i mbretërimit të tij qe Babeli, Ereku, Akadi dhe Kalmehu në vendin e Shinarit.

11 O ut of that land went forth Asshur, who built Nineveh and the city Rehoboth and Calah

12 a nd Resen between Nineveh and Calah; the same is a great city.

17 a nd Hivite and Arkite and Sinite

18 a nd Arvadite and Zemarite and Hamathite; and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

19 A nd the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar unto Gaza, as thou goest, unto Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

20 T hese are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

21 ¶ Unto Shem also, the father of all the sons of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, even to him were sons born.

Edhe Semit, babai i të gjithë fëmijëve të Eberit dhe vëlla madhor i Jafetit, i lindën bij.

22 T he sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.

Bijtë e Semit qenë: Elami, Asuri, Arpakshadi, Ludi dhe Arami.

23 A nd the sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

Bijtë e Aramit qenë: Uzi, Huli, Getheri dhe Mashi.

24 A nd Arphaxad begat Salah, and Salah begat Eber.

Nga Arpakshadi lindi Shelahu dhe nga Shelahu Eberi.

25 A nd unto Eber were born two sons; the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

Eberit i lindën dy bij; emri i njërit prej tyre ishte Peleg, sepse në ditët e tij toka u nda, dhe emri i të vëllait ishte Joktan.

26 A nd Joktan begat Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

29 O phir, Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.

30 A nd their dwelling was from Mesha as thou goest unto Sephar, mount of the east.

Këto janë familjet e bijve të Noeut, simbas brezave të tyre, në kombet e tyre; dhe prej tyre dolën kombet që u shpërndanë në tokë mbas përmbytjes.
