1 ¶ Then the LORD said unto me again, Go, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the sons of Israel, who look to other gods and love flagons of wine.

Zoti më tha akoma: "Shko dhe dashuro një grua të dashuruar nga një dashnor dhe që është shkelëse e kurorës, ashtu si Zoti i do bijtë e Izraelit, megjithëse ata u drejtohen perëndive të tjera dhe pëlqejnë reçelin e rrushit".

2 S o I bought her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver and an homer and a half of barley:

Kështu unë e bleva për pesëmbëdhjetë sikla argjendi dhe për një homer e gjysmë elbi,

3 a nd I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.

dhe i thashë: "Ti do të rrish shumë ditë me mua; nuk do të kurvërohesh dhe nuk do të jesh e asnjeriut; po kështu do të veproj unë me ty".

4 F or the sons of Israel shall abide many days without king and without Lord and without sacrifice and without image, and without ephod and without teraphim;

Sepse bijtë e Izraelit do të rrinë shumë ditë pa mbret, pa kryetar, pa flijim dhe pa shtyllë të shenjtë, pa efod dhe pa idhuj të shtëpisë.

5 a fterward the sons of Israel shall return, and they shall seek the LORD their God and David their king; and they shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the end of the days.

Pastaj bijtë e Izraelit do të kthehen dhe do të kërkojnë Zotin, Perëndinë e tyre, dhe Davidin, mbretin e tyre, dhe do të kthehen duke u dridhur tek Zoti dhe te mirësia e tij në mbarim të ditëve.
