1 ¶ Paul, slave of Jesus, the Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God

Pali, shërbëtor i Jezu Krishtit, i thirrur për të qenë apostull, i veçuar për ungjillin e Perëndisë,

2 ( which he had promised before by his prophets in the holy scriptures)

siç i kishte premtuar ai me anë të profetëve të tij në Shkrimet e shenjta,

3 o f his Son (who was born unto him of the seed of David according to the flesh,

lidhur me Birin e tij, të lindur nga fara e Davidit sipas mishit,

4 w ho was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of sanctification, by the resurrection from the dead), of Jesus, the Christ, our Lord.

i deklaruar Biri i Perëndisë në fuqi, sipas Frymës së shenjtërisë nëpërmjet ringjalljes prej së vdekurit: Jezu Krishti Zoti ynë,

5 B y whom we have received the grace and the apostleship, to cause the faith to be obeyed among all the Gentiles in his name,

me anë të të cilit ne kemi marrë hir dhe apostullim, për bindje në besim midis të gjithë kombeve për hir të emrit të tij,

6 a mong whom ye are also the called of Jesus Christ;

ndër të cilët edhe ju jeni të thirrur nga Jezu Krishti;

7 t o all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints; ye have grace and peace of God our Father and of the Lord Jesus, the Christ.

për ju të gjithë që jeni në Romë, të dashur nga Perëndia, të thirrur shenjtorë: hir dhe paqe nga Perëndia, Ati ynë, e nga Zoti Jezu Krishti.

8 ¶ First, I thank my God through Jesus, the Christ, regarding you all, that your faith is preached in all the world.

Para së gjithash, falënderoj Perëndinë tim me anë të Jezu Krishtit për të gjithë ju, sepse për besimin tuaj është folur në gjithë botën.

9 F or God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I always remember you in my prayers,

Sepse Perëndia, të cilit unë i shërbej me frymën time nëpërmjet ungjillit të Birit të tij, është dëshmitari im që unë nuk pushoj kurrë t’ju kujtoj,

10 m aking request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

duke kërkuar vazhdimisht në lutjet e mia që të më lejohet më në fund nga vullneti i Perëndisë mundësia për të ardhur tek ju,

11 F or I long to see you that I may impart with you some spiritual gift to confirm you,

sepse unë dëshiroj fort t’ju shoh për t’ju komunikuar ndonjë dhunëti frymëror, që të fortësoheni.

12 t hat is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

Dhe kjo është që unë të ngushëllohem bashkë me ju me anë të besimit që e kemi të përbashkët, tuajin dhe timin.

13 N ow I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that many times I purposed to come unto you (but up until now I have been unable) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Tani, vëllezër, unë nuk dua që të mos e dini se shumë herë kisha vendosur të vija tek ju që të mund të kem ndonjë fryt midis jush siç kam pasur midis johebrenjve të tjerë, por deri tash kam qenë i penguar.

14 I am debtor both to the Greeks and to the Barbarians; both to the wise and to the unwise.

Unë u jam borxhli Grekëve dhe barbarëve, të diturve dhe të paditurve.

15 S o, as much as in me is, I am ready to announce the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Kështu, aq sa varet nga unë, jam gati t’ju predikoj ungjillin edhe juve që jeni në Romë.

16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Christ; for it is the power of God to give saving health to every one that believes: to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Në fakt unë nuk kam turp për ungjillin e Krishtit, sepse ai është fuqia e Perëndisë për shpëtimin e cilitdo që beson, më parë Judeun e pastaj Grekun.

17 F or in him is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Sepse drejtësia e Perëndisë është zbuluar në të nga besimi në besim siç është shkruar: “I drejti do të jetojë me anë të besimit.”

18 F or the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of men, who hold back the truth with injustice;

Sepse zemërimi i Perëndisë zbulohet nga qielli për çdo pabesi e padrejtësi të njerëzve, që mbysin të vërtetën në padrejtësi,

19 ¶ because that which is known of God is manifest to them; for God has showed it unto them.

meqenëse ajo që mund të njihet prej Perëndisë është bërë e dukshme në ta, sepse Perëndia ua ka shfaqur atyre.

20 F or the invisible things of him, his eternal power and divinity, are clearly understood by the creation of the world and by the things that are made so that there is no excuse;

Në fakt cilësitë e tij të padukshme, fuqia e tij e përjetshme dhe hyjnia e tij, duke qenë të dukshme nëpërmjet veprave të tij që nga krijimi i botës, shihen qartë, me qëllim që ata të jenë të pafalshëm.

21 b ecause having known God, they did not glorify him as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Sepse, megjithëse e njohën Perëndinë, nuk e përlëvduan as e falënderuan si Perëndi, përkundrazi u bënë të pamend në arsyetimet e tyre dhe zemra e tyre pa gjykim u errësua.

22 P rofessing themselves to be wise, they became fools

Duke e deklaruar veten të urtë, u bënë të marrë,

23 a nd exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and of fourfooted beasts and of serpents.

dhe e shndërruan lavdinë e Perëndisë së pakalbshëm në një shëmbëllim të ngjashëm me atë të një njeriu të kalbshëm, të shpendëve, të kafshëve katërkëmbëshe dhe të rrëshqanorëve.

24 T herefore God also gave them over to the lusts of their own hearts for uncleanness, to contaminate their own bodies between themselves,

Prandaj Perëndia ia dorëzoi papastërtsë në epshet e zemrave të tyre, për të çnderuar trupat e tyre në mes vetë atyre,

25 w ho changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for all ages. Amen.

që e ndryshuan të vërtetën e Perëndisë në gënjeshtër dhe adhuruan dhe i shërbyen krijesës në vend të Krijuesit, që është i bekuar përjetë. Amen.

26 F or this cause God gave them up unto shameful affections, for even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature;

Prandaj Perëndia i dorëzoi ata në pasioneve të ulëta, sepse edhe gratë e tyre i shndërruan marrëdhëniet natyrore në atë që është kundër natyrës.

27 a nd likewise also the males, leaving the natural use of the females, burned in their lust one toward another, males with males committing nefarious works and receiving in themselves the recompense that proceeded from their error.

Në të njejtën mënyrë burrat, duke lënë marrëdheniet e natyrshme me gruan, u ndezën në epshin e tyre për njëri-tjetrin, duke kryer akte të pandershme burra me burra, duke marrë në vetvete shpagimin e duhur për gabimin e tyre.

28 A nd even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a perverse understanding, to do those things which are not convenient,

Dhe meqenëse nuk e quajtën me vend të njihnin Perëndinë, Perëndia i dorëzoi në një mendje të çoroditur, për të bërë gjëra të pahijshme,

29 b eing filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

duke qenë të mbushur plot me çdo padrejtësi, kurvërim, mbrapshtësi, lakmi, ligësi; plot smirë, vrasje, grindje, mashtrim, poshtërsi,

30 b ackbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

mashtrues, shpifës, armiq të Perëndisë, fyes, krenarë, mburravecë, trillues ligësish, të pabindur ndaj prindërve,

31 w ithout understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, without mercy.

të paarsyeshëm, të pabesë, pa dashuri të natyrshme, të papajtueshëm, të pamëshirshëm.

32 W ho having understood the righteousness of God, they did not understand that those who do such things are worthy of death, not only those that do the same, but even those who encourage those that do them.

Por ata, ndonëse e kanë njohur dekretin e Perëndisë sipas të cilit ata që bëjnë gjëra të tilla meritojnë vdekjen, jo vetëm i bëjnë, por miratojnë edhe ata që i kryejnë.
