1 ¶ These also are the generations of Aaron and of Moses in the day that the LORD spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.

2 A nd these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab, the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

3 T hese are the names of the sons of Aaron, anointed priests, whose hands he filled to administer the priesthood.

6 B ring the tribe of Levi near and present them before Aaron, the priest, that they may minister unto him.

7 A nd they shall keep his commandment and the commandment of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the testimony, to minister in the service of the tabernacle.

Ata do të zbatojnë të gjitha udhëzimet e tij dhe do të kryejnë të gjitha detyrat që lidhen me tërë asamblenë para çadrës së mbledhjes, duke kryer shërbimin e tabernakullit.

8 A nd they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the testimony and the charge of the sons of Israel, to minister in the service of the tabernacle.

Do të kujdesen për të gjitha orenditë e çadrës së mbledhjes dhe do të përmbushin të gjitha detyrimet e bijve të Izraelit, duke kryer shërbimin e tabernakullit.

9 A nd thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons; they are completely given unto him out of the sons of Israel.

Levitët do t’ua japësh Aaronit dhe bijve të tij; ata duhet t’u jepen plotësisht nga gjiri i bijve të Izraelit.

10 A nd thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons that they shall guard their priesthood; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

Ti do të vendosësh Aaronin dhe bijtë e tij në mënyrë që ata të kryejnë funksionet e priftërisë së tyre; por çdo i huaj tjetër që afrohet do të dënohet me vdekje".

11 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

12 B ehold, I have taken the Levites from among the sons of Israel instead of all the firstborn that open the womb among the sons of Israel; therefore the Levites shall be mine;

"Ja, unë i mora Levitët nga gjiri i bijve të Izraelit në vend të çdo të parëlinduri që çel barkun e nënës midis bijve të Izraelit; prandaj Levitët do të jenë të mitë,

13 b ecause all the firstborn are mine; from the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both of men and of animals; they shall be mine: I am the LORD.

sepse çdo i parëlindur është imi; ditën që godita të gjithë të parëlindurit në vendin e Egjiptit, unë ia shenjtërova vetvetes të gjithë të parëlindurit në Izrael, qoftë të njerëzve, qoftë të kafshëve; ata do të jenë të mitë. Unë jam Zoti.

14 ¶ The LORD also spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

Pastaj Zoti i foli Moisiut në shkretëtirën e Sinait, duke i thënë:

15 N umber the sons of Levi by the houses of their fathers, by their families; thou shalt number every male from a month old and upward.

"Bëj regjistrimin e bijve të Levit në bazë të shtëpive të etërve të tyre dhe të familjeve të tyre; do të bësh regjistrimin e të gjithë meshkujve një muajsh e lart".

16 A nd Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.

Kështu Moisiu bëri regjistrimin simbas urdhërit të Zotit ashtu siç ishte urdhëruar.

17 A nd these were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon and Kohath and Merari.

Këta janë bijtë e Levit, simbas emrave të tyre: Gershon, Kehat dhe Merari.

18 A nd these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.

Këta janë emrat e bijve të Gershonit, simbas familjeve të tyre: Libni dhe Shimei;

19 A nd the sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

bijtë e Kehathit, simbas familjeve të tyre, ishin Amrami, Itsehari, Hebroni dhe Uzieli;

20 A nd the sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the houses of their fathers.

21 O f Gershon was the family of Libni and the family of Shimei; these are the families of Gershon.

22 T hose that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, those that were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.

23 T he families of Gershon shall pitch behind the tabernacle to the west;

24 a nd the prince of the house of the father of the Gershonites, Eliasaph, son of Lael.

I pari i shtëpisë së etërve të Gershonitëve ishte Eliasafi, bir i Laelit.

25 A nd the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the testimony shall be the tabernacle and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the testimony,

26 a nd the hangings of the court and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.

28 I n the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.

Duke numëruar tërë meshkujt që ishin në moshë një muajsh e lart, kishte tetë mijë e gjashtëqind vetë, që kujdeseshin për shenjtëroren.

29 T he families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle towards the Negev;

Familjet e bijve të Kehathit duhet të zinin vend në krahun jugor të tabernakullit.

30 a nd the prince of the house of the father of the families of Kohath, Elizaphan, son of Uzziel.

I pari i shtëpisë së etërve të Kehathit ishte Elitsafani, bir i Uzielit.

31 A nd their charge shall be the ark and the table and the lampstand and the altars and the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the veil, with all its service.

33 O f Merari was the family of Mahli and the family of Mushi; these are the families of Merari.

34 A nd those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred;

35 a nd the prince of the house of the father of the families of Merari, Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle to the Aquilon.

Tërë Levitët e regjistruar nga Moisiu dhe Aaroni në bazë të familjeve të tyre simbas urdhrit të Zotit, të gjithë meshkujt që nga mosha një muajsh e lart ishin njëzet mijë.

40 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the sons of Israel from a month old and upward and take the number of their names.

Pastaj Zoti i tha Moisiut: "Bëj regjistrimin e të gjithë të parëlindurve meshkuj ndër bijtë e Izraelit nga mosha një muajsh e lart dhe llogarit edhe emrat e tyre.

41 A nd thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel and the animals of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the animals of the sons of Israel.

Do t’i marrësh Levitët për mua, unë jam Zoti, në vend të të gjithë të parëlindurve ndër bijtë e Izraelit dhe bagëtinë e Levitëve në vend të të parëlindurve ndër bagëtitë e bijve të Izraelit".

42 A nd Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.

Kështu Moisiu bëri regjistrimin e të gjithë të parëlindurve ndër bijtë e Izraelit, ashtu siç e kishte urdhëruar Zoti.

43 A nd all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.

Të gjithë të parëlindurit meshkuj që u regjistruan duke numëruar emrat e tyre nga mosha një muajsh e lart, ishin njëzet e dy mijë e dyqind e shtatëdhjetë e tre.

44 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

45 T ake the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel and the animals of the Levites instead of their animals, and the Levites shall be mine; I am the LORD.

"Merr Levitët në vend të të gjithë të parëlindurve të Izraelit, dhe bagëtinë e Levitëve në vend të bagëtisë së tyre; Levitët do të jenë të mitë. Unë jam Zoti.

46 A nd for the ransoms of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the sons of Israel, who are more than the Levites,

Për shpengimin e dyqind e shtatëdhjetë e tre të parëlindur të Izraelit që e kalojnë numrin e Levitëve,

47 t hou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them (the shekel is of twenty gerahs).

48 A nd thou shalt give the money, of the ransoms of the odd number of them, unto Aaron and to his sons.

49 A nd Moses took the ransom money of those that were over and above the ones that were redeemed by the Levites

Kështu Moisiu mori paratë e shpengimit nga ata që e kalonin numrin e të parëlindurve të shpenguar nga Levitët;

50 a nd received of the firstborn of the sons of Israel, in money, a thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

mori paratë e të parëlindurve të bijve të Izraelit; një mijë e treqind e gjashtëdhjetë e pesë sikla, simbas siklit të shenjtërores.

51 A nd Moses gave the money of the ransoms unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

Pastaj Moisiu paratë e atyre që ishin shpenguar ia dha Aaronit dhe bijve të tij, simbas urdhërit të Zotit, ashtu si e kishte urdhëruar Zoti Moisiun.
