1 ¶ Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

4 A nd Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz, and Bashemath bore Reuel,

5 a nd Aholibamah bore Jeush and Jaalam and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, who were born unto him in the land of Canaan.

6 A nd Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters and all the persons of his house and his cattle and all his beasts and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan, and went into another country from the face of his brother Jacob.

9 ¶ And these are the lineages of Esau, the father of the Edomites in Mount Seir.

Këta janë pasardhësit e Esaut, atit të Edomitëve, në malin e Seirit.

10 T hese are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah, the wife of Esau; Reuel, the son of Bashemath, the wife of Esau.

Këta janë emrat e bijve të Esaut: Elifazi, i biri i Adës, gruaja e Esaut; Reueli, i biri i Bazemathës, gruaja e Esaut.

11 A nd the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.

Bijtë e Elifazit qenë: Temani, Omari, Cefoni, Gatami dhe Kenaci.

12 A nd Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, Esau’s son, and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek: these are the sons of Adah, Esau’s wife.

Timna ishte konkubina e Elifazit, i biri i Esaut. Ajo i lindi Amalekun Elifazit. Këta qenë bijtë e Adës, gruaja e Esaut.

13 A nd these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bashemath, Esau’s wife.

Këta qenë bijtë e Reuelit: Nahathi dhe Zerahu, Shamahu dhe Micahu. Këta qenë bijtë e Basemathës, gruaja e Esaut.

14 A nd these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: she gave birth unto Esau Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah.

Këta qenë bijtë e Oholibamahës, e bija e Anahut, e bija e Cibeonit, gruaja e Esaut; ajo i lindi Esaut: Jeushin, Jalamin dhe Korahun.

15 T hese are dukes of the sons of Esau. The sons of Eliphaz, the firstborn son of Esau: duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,

Këta qenë bijtë e Reuelit, i biri i Esaut: kreu Nahath, kreu Zerah, kreu Shamah dhe kreu Micah; këta qenë krerët e rrjedhur nga Reueli në vendin e Edomit; ata qenë bijtë e Basemathës, gruaja e Esaut.

18 A nd these are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau’s wife: duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah; these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

19 T hese are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their dukes.

Këta qenë bijtë e Esaut, që është Edomi, dhe këta qenë krerët e tyre.

20 ¶ These are the sons of Seir, the Horite, who inhabited the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

Këta qenë bijtë e Seirit, Horeut, që banonin atë vend: Lotani, Shobali, Cibeoni, Anahu.

21 D ishon, Ezer, and Dishan; these are the dukes of the Horites, the sons of Seir in the land of Edom.

22 A nd the sons of Lotan were Hori and Hemam, and Lotan’s sister was Timna.

23 A nd the sons of Shobal were these: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.

Këta qenë bijtë e Shobalit: Alvani, Manahathi, Ebali, Shefo dhe Onami.

24 A nd these are the sons of Zibeon: both Ajah and Anah; this was that Anah that invented mules in the wilderness as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

25 A nd the children of Anah were these: Dishon and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

26 A nd these are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

29 T hese are the dukes that came of the Horites: duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,

Këta qenë krerët e Horejve: kreu Lothan, kreu Shobal, kreu Cibeon, kreu Anah,

30 d uke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan; these are the dukes that came of Hori; by their dukedoms in the land of Seir.

31 ¶ And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the sons of Israel.

32 A nd Bela, the son of Beor, reigned in Edom, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

33 A nd Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, reigned in his stead.

34 A nd Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.

Jobabi vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Hushami, nga vendi i Temanitëve.

35 A nd Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.

Hushami vdiq, dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Hadabi, i biri i Bedadit, që mundi Madianitët në fushat e Moabit; dhe emri i qytetit të tij qe Avith.

36 A nd Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

Hadadi vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Samlahu, nga Masrekahu.

37 A nd Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

Samlahu vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Sauli nga Rohoboth, mbi Lumë.

38 A nd Saul died, and Baalhanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his stead.

Sauli vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Baal-Hanani, i biri i Akborit.

39 A nd Baalhanan, the son of Achbor, died, and Hadar reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

Baal-Hanani, i biri i Akborit, vdiq dhe në vendin e tij mbretëroi Hadari. Emri i qytetit të tij qe Pau, dhe emri i gruas së tij qe Mehetabel, e bija e Metredës dhe e Mezahabut.

40 A nd these are the names of the dukes that came of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: duke Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,

43 d uke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is the Esau, the father of Edom.
