1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Zoti i foli akoma Moisiut, duke i thënë:

2 C ommand the sons of Israel and say unto them, When ye have entered into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),

"Urdhëro bijtë e Izraelit dhe u thuaj atyre: Kur do të hyni në vendin e Kanaanit, ky është vendi që ju takon si trashëgimi, vendi i Kanaanit me këta kufij të veçantë:

3 y ou shall have on the side of the Negev from the wilderness of Zin unto the borders of Edom, and your border towards the Negev shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward.

Kufiri juaj jugor do të fillojë në shkretëtirën e Tsinit, gjatë kufirit të Edomit; kështu kufiri juaj do të shtrihet nga skaji i Detit të Kripur në drejtim të lindjes;

4 A nd this border shall turn from the Negev to the ascent of Akrabbim and pass on to Zin, and the going forth thereof shall be from the Negev to Kadeshbarnea and shall go on to Hazaraddar and pass on to Azmon;

kufiri juaj do të shkojë pastaj nga e përpjeta e Akrabimit, do të kalojë nëpër Tsin dhe do të shtrihet në jug të Kadesh-Barneas; do të vazhdojë pastaj në drejtim të Hatsar-Adarit dhe do të kalojë nëpër Atsmoni.

5 a nd the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the western sea.

Nga Atsmoni kufiri do të kthejë deri në përroin e Egjiptit dhe do të përfundojë në det.

6 A nd as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border; this shall be your west border.

Kufiri juaj në perëndim do të jetë Deti i Madh; ky do të jetë kufiri juaj perëndimor.

7 A nd this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you Mount Hor.

Ky do të jetë kufiri juaj verior: duke u nisur nga Deti i Madh do të caktoni kufirin tuaj deri në malin Hor;

8 F rom Mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath, and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad,

nga mali Hor do të caktoni kufirin tuaj deri në hyrje të Hamathit, dhe skaji i kufirit do të jetë në Tsedad;

9 a nd the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan; this shall be your north border.

kufiri do të vazhdojë pastaj deri në Zifron dhe do të mbarojë në Hatsar-Enan; ky do të jetë kufiri juaj verior.

10 A nd ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham,

Do ta vijëzoni kufirin tuaj lindor nga Hatsar-Enani deri në Shefam;

11 a nd the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain, and the border shall descend and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.

kufiri do të zbresë nga Shefami në drejtim të Riblahut, në lindje të Ainit; pastaj kufiri do të zbresë dhe do të shtrihet deri sa të arrijë bregun lindor të detit të Kinerethit;

12 A nd the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea; this shall be your land with the borders thereof round about.

pastaj kufiri do të zbresë në drejtim të Jordanit, për të arritur deri në Detin e Kripur. Ky do të jetë vendi juaj me kufijtë e tij rreth e qark".

13 A nd Moses commanded the sons of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes and to the half tribe,

Kështu Moisiu u njoftoi këtë urdhër bijve të Izraelit dhe u tha atyre: Ky është vendi që do të merrni si trashëgimi duke hedhur short, dhe që Zotii ka urdhëruar t’u jepet nëntë fiseve e gjysmë,

14 b ecause the tribe of the sons of Reuben, according to the houses of their fathers, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, according to the houses of their fathers, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.

sepse fisi i bijve të Rubenit, në bazë të shtëpive të etërve të tyre, dhe fisi i bijve të Gadit, në bazë të shtëpive të etërve të tyre, dhe gjysma e fisit të Manasit e kanë marrë trashëgiminë e tyre.

15 T he two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan of Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

Këto dy fise e gjysmë e kanë marrë trashëgiminë e tyre në lindje të Jordanit, mbi bregun përballë Jerikos, në drejtim të lindjes".

16 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Zoti i foli akoma Moisiut, duke i thënë:

17 T hese are the names of the men who shall divide the possession of the land for you: Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun.

"Këta janë emrat e burrave që do të kryejnë ndarjen e vendit midis jush: prifti Eleazar dhe Jozueu, bir i Nunit.

18 A nd ye shall take one prince of every tribe to divide the possession of the land.

Do të merrni edhe një prijës nga çdo fis, për të bërë ndarjen e vendit.

19 A nd the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.

Këta janë emrat e burrave: Kalebi, bir i Jefunehut, nga fisi i Judës;

20 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel, the son of Ammihud.

Shemueli, bir i Amihudit, nga fisi i bijve të Simeonit;

21 O f the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad, the son of Chislon.

Elidadi, bir i Kislonit, nga fisi i Beniaminit;

22 A nd the of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki, the son of Jogli.

prijësi Buki, bir i Joglit, nga fisi i bijve të Danit;

23 O f the sons of Joseph: of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel, the son of Ephod.

prijësi Haniel, bir i Efodit, për bijtë e Jozefit, nga fisi i bijve të Manasit;

24 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the son of Shiphtan.

prijësi Kemuel, bir i Shiftanit, për fisin e bijve të Efraimit;

25 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the son of Parnach.

prijësi Elitsafan, bir i Parnakut, për fisin e bijve të Zabulonit;

26 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel, the son of Azzan.

prijësi Paltiel, bir i Azanit, për fisin e bijve të Isakarit;

27 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the son of Shelomi.

prijësi Ahihud, bir i Shelomit, për fisin e bijve të Asherit;

28 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the son of Ammihud.

dhe prijësi Pedahel, bir i Amihudit, për fisin e bijve të Neftalit".

29 T hese are those whom the LORD commanded to cause the sons of Israel to inherit the land of Canaan.

Këta janë burrat të cilët Zoti i urdhëroi t’u jepnin trashëgiminë bijve të Izraelit në vendin e Kananit.
