1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

2 C ommand the sons of Israel and say unto them, When ye have entered into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),

«Dales estas instrucciones a los hijos de Israel: “Cuando ustedes hayan entrado en la tierra de Canaán, es decir, en la tierra que les voy a dar en posesión, sus límites serán,

3 y ou shall have on the side of the Negev from the wilderness of Zin unto the borders of Edom, and your border towards the Negev shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward.

por el sur, desde el desierto de Zin hasta la frontera de Edom, al este, siendo su límite el extremo sur del Mar Salado.

4 A nd this border shall turn from the Negev to the ascent of Akrabbim and pass on to Zin, and the going forth thereof shall be from the Negev to Kadeshbarnea and shall go on to Hazaraddar and pass on to Azmon;

Esta frontera dará un rodeo desde el sur hasta la cuesta de Acrabín, pasará por Zin, y del sur se extenderá hasta Cadés Barnea, llegando hasta Jazar Adar, y seguirá hasta Asmón;

5 a nd the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the western sea.

de Asmón seguirá hasta el torrente de Egipto, y terminará en el oeste.

6 A nd as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border; this shall be your west border.

»”La frontera occidental será el Mar Grande.

7 A nd this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you Mount Hor.

»”La frontera norte partirá del Mar Grande en línea recta hasta el monte Hor.

8 F rom Mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath, and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad,

Del monte Hor trazarán una línea hasta la entrada de Jamat, y la frontera seguirá hasta Zedad,

9 a nd the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan; this shall be your north border.

continuando hasta Zifrón, y terminará en Jasar Enán. Ésta será la frontera norte.

10 A nd ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham,

»”Para la frontera este trazarán una línea desde Jasar Enán hasta Sefán,

11 a nd the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain, and the border shall descend and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.

bajando de Sefán a Ribla, al este de Ayin; y siguiendo hasta llegar a la costa oriental del mar de Cineret.

12 A nd the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea; this shall be your land with the borders thereof round about.

De allí la frontera bajará al Jordán, y terminará en el Mar Salado. Ésta será su tierra y sus fronteras alrededor.”»

13 A nd Moses commanded the sons of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes and to the half tribe,

Moisés les dio estas instrucciones a los hijos de Israel, y les dijo: «Ésta es la tierra que se repartirá entre ustedes por sorteo. El Señor ha ordenado que se reparta entre las nueve tribus y media,

14 b ecause the tribe of the sons of Reuben, according to the houses of their fathers, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, according to the houses of their fathers, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.

pues ya han tomado posesión de sus terrenos la tribu de los hijos de Rubén, según las familias de sus antepasados, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad, según las familias de sus antepasados, y la media tribu de Manasés.

15 T he two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan of Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

Dos tribus y media tomaron su heredad en esta ribera oriental del Jordán, frente a Jericó, por donde sale el sol.»

16 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

17 T hese are the names of the men who shall divide the possession of the land for you: Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun.

«Aquí están los nombres de quienes se encargarán de repartir la tierra: »El sacerdote Eleazar, y Josué hijo de Nun.

18 A nd ye shall take one prince of every tribe to divide the possession of the land.

»Tomarán además un príncipe de cada tribu, para que les dé posesión de la tierra.

19 A nd the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.

Éstos son sus nombres: »De la tribu de Judá, Caleb hijo de Yefune.

20 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel, the son of Ammihud.

»De la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Semuel hijo de Amiud.

21 O f the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad, the son of Chislon.

»De la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad hijo de Quislón.

22 A nd the of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki, the son of Jogli.

»De la tribu de los hijos de Dan, el príncipe Buqui hijo de Yoglí.

23 O f the sons of Joseph: of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel, the son of Ephod.

»De los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, el príncipe Janiel hijo de Efod,

24 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the son of Shiphtan.

y de la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, el príncipe Kemuel hijo de Siftán.

25 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the son of Parnach.

»De la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, el príncipe Elisafán hijo de Parnac.

26 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel, the son of Azzan.

»De la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, el príncipe Paltiel hijo de Azán.

27 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the son of Shelomi.

»De la tribu de los hijos de Aser, el príncipe Ajiud hijo de Selomi.

28 A nd of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the son of Ammihud.

»De la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, el príncipe Pedael hijo de Amiud.»

29 T hese are those whom the LORD commanded to cause the sons of Israel to inherit the land of Canaan.

A éstos el Señor les ordenó hacer la repartición de tierras para los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Canaán.
