1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

2 S peak unto the sons of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done and shall do any of them,

«Habla con los hijos de Israel, y diles: “Cuando alguien, sin proponérselo, peque contra alguno de los mandamientos del Señor en cuestiones que no deben cometerse, e incurra en alguna de ellas,

3 i f the priest that is anointed sins according to the guiltiness of the people, he shall offer for his sin, which he has committed, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for his sin.

si el sacerdote ungido peca como el común del pueblo, deberá ofrecer al Señor un becerro sin defecto, como expiación por el pecado cometido.

4 A nd he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the LORD and shall lay his hand upon the bullock’s head and kill the bullock before the LORD.

Llevará el becerro a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión y, poniendo la mano sobre la cabeza del becerro, lo degollará delante del Señor.

5 A nd the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock’s blood and bring it to the tabernacle of the testimony;

El sacerdote ungido tomará un poco de la sangre del becerro y la llevará al tabernáculo de reunión,

6 a nd the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the veil of the sanctuary.

mojará su dedo en la sangre, y esa sangre la rociará delante del Señor siete veces, en dirección al velo del santuario.

7 A nd the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of aromatic incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the testimony, and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

También pondrá el sacerdote parte de esa sangre sobre los cuernos del altar del incienso aromático, el cual está en el tabernáculo de reunión delante del Señor, y el resto de la sangre del becerro la derramará al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

8 A nd he shall take off all the fat of the bullock for the sin: the fat that covers the intestines and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

Para la expiación tomará toda la grasa del becerro, tanto la que recubre los intestinos como la que recubre las entrañas,

9 a nd the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them, and that which is upon the flanks and with the kidneys he shall take away the caul above the liver,

los dos riñones, la grasa que los recubre y la que está sobre los ijares, y junto con los riñones quitará la grasa que recubre el hígado,

10 a s it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace; and the priest shall incense them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

tal y como se quita la grasa del buey del sacrificio de paz, y el sacerdote la quemará sobre el altar del holocausto.

11 A nd the skin of the bullock and all its flesh, with its head and with its legs, and his intestines and his dung,

La piel del becerro, con toda su carne y su cabeza, sus piernas, sus intestinos y su estiércol,

12 e ven the whole bullock he shall carry forth outside the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes with the burnt fat are poured out and burn it on the wood with fire, where the ashes with the burnt fat are poured out shall it be burnt.

en fin, todo el becerro, lo llevará fuera del campamento hasta un lugar limpio, donde se echan las cenizas, y allí lo quemará sobre la leña encendida.

13 ¶ And if the whole congregation of Israel sins through ignorance and the thing was hid from the eyes of the assembly and they have done something against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done and are guilty,

”En caso de que toda la congregación de Israel peque contra alguno de los mandamientos del Señor e incurra en actos que no se deben cometer, y resulte culpable pero el pecado pasa inadvertido a los ojos del pueblo,

14 w hen the sin, which they have committed, is understood, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock as the sin and bring it before the tabernacle of the testimony.

una vez que el pecado cometido llegue a ser conocido la congregación deberá ofrecer como expiación un becerro, al cual lo llevarán ante el tabernáculo de reunión.

15 A nd the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD, and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.

Allí los ancianos de la congregación pondrán delante del Señor las manos sobre la cabeza del becerro, y en presencia del Señor degollarán al becerro.

16 A nd the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the testimony.

El sacerdote ungido llevará al tabernáculo de reunión parte de la sangre del becerro,

17 A nd the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the veil.

mojará su dedo en esa misma sangre, y la rociará siete veces delante del Señor, en dirección al velo.

18 A nd he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the testimony and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

Parte de esa sangre la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar que está en el tabernáculo de reunión, delante del Señor, y el resto de la sangre lo derramará al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

19 A nd he shall take all the fat and incense it upon the altar.

Y le quitará toda la grasa y la hará arder sobre el altar.

20 A nd he shall do with this bullock as he did with the bullock of the sin, so shall he do with this; and thus the priest shall reconcile them, and they shall obtain forgiveness.

Hará con aquel becerro lo mismo que hizo con el becerro de la expiación. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por ellos, y obtendrán el perdón.

21 A nd he shall carry forth the bullock outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bullock; it is the sin of the congregation.

Luego llevará el becerro fuera del campamento y lo quemará, como quemó el primer becerro. Se trata de una expiación por la congregación.

22 ¶ When the prince has sinned and done something through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done and is guilty,

”Cuando un jefe peque y, sin proponérselo, infrinja alguno de los mandamientos del Señor su Dios e incurra en cosas que no se deben hacer,

23 a s soon as he is notified of his sin, which he has committed, then he shall bring his offering, a he goat, a male without blemish.

tan pronto como se le haga saber que ha pecado presentará como ofrenda un macho cabrío sin defecto.

24 A nd he shall lay his hand upon the head of the he goat and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD; it is sin.

Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío y lo degollará delante del Señor, en donde se degüella el holocausto. Se trata de una expiación.

25 A nd the priest shall take of the blood of the sin with his finger and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and shall pour out its blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering;

Con su dedo, el sacerdote tomará un poco de la sangre de la expiación y la untará sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y luego derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto,

26 a nd he shall burn all its fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace; thus shall the priest reconcile him as concerning his sin, and he shall have forgiveness.

y quemará toda la grasa sobre el altar, como se quema la grasa del sacrificio de paz. Así el sacerdote hará la expiación por el pecado del jefe, y éste obtendrá el perdón.

27 ¶ And if any one of the people of the land sins through ignorance, by doing something against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and is guilty,

”Si alguien del pueblo, sin proponérselo, peca e infringe alguno de los mandamientos del Señor y comete cosas que no se deben hacer,

28 a s soon as his sin, which he has committed, comes to his knowledge, then he shall bring as his offering, a she goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has committed.

tan pronto como se le haga saber que ha pecado, presentará una cabra sin defecto como ofrenda por el pecado cometido.

29 A nd he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin and slay the sin in the place of the burnt offering.

Pondrá la mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda de expiación, y la degollará en el lugar del holocausto.

30 T hen the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar.

Luego el sacerdote tomará con el dedo un poco de la sangre, y la untará sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y luego derramará al pie del altar el resto de la sangre.

31 A nd he shall take away all its fat, as the fat was taken away from off the sacrifice of peace; and the priest shall incense it upon the altar in a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD; and thus shall the priest reconcile him, and he shall have forgiveness.

Al animal ofrecido el sacerdote le quitará toda la grasa, tal y como se le quita al sacrificio de paz, y la quemará sobre el altar en olor grato para el Señor. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por el infractor, y éste será perdonado.

32 A nd if he brings a lamb as his offering, as the sin, he shall bring a female without blemish.

”Si el infractor presenta un cordero como ofrenda por su pecado, deberá presentar una hembra sin defecto.

33 A nd he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin and slay the sin in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

Pondrá la mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda de expiación, y la degollará como expiación en donde se degüella el holocausto.

34 A nd the priest shall take of the blood of the sin with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar.

Después el sacerdote tomará con su dedo un poco de la sangre de la expiación, y la untará sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y luego derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

35 A nd he shall take away all its fat, as the fat of the lamb of the sacrifice of peace was taken away; and the priest shall incense it upon the altar in an offering on fire unto the LORD; and thus shall the priest reconcile him from his sin that he has committed, and he shall have forgiveness.

Al animal ofrecido el sacerdote le quitará toda la grasa, tal y como se hace con la grasa del sacrificio de paz, y la quemará en el altar, junto con la ofrenda encendida al Señor. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por el pecado cometido, y ese hombre será perdonado.
