1 ¶ And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the sons of Judah.

A la tribu de los hijos de Simeón le tocó el reparto del segundo sorteo, conforme al número de sus familias. Su territorio quedó en medio del territorio de los hijos de Judá.

2 A nd they had in their inheritance Beersheba or Sheba, Moladah,

Y le tocaron Berseba, Sebá, Molada,

3 H azarshual, Balah, Azem,

Jasar Súal, Balá, Esén,

4 E ltolad, Bethul, Hormah,

6 B ethlebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their villages;

Bet Lebaot y Sarujén. Trece ciudades con sus aldeas.

7 A in, Remmon, Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their villages,

Además, Ayin, Rimón, Eter y Asán, cuatro ciudades con sus aldeas,

8 w ith all the villages that were round about these cities unto Baalathbeer, which is Ramath of the Negev. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families.

y todas las aldeas alrededor de estas ciudades, hasta Baalat Ber, que es Ramat del Néguev. Ésta fue la parte que le tocó a la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, conforme al número de sus familias.

9 O ut of the portion of the sons of Judah was taken the inheritance of the sons of Simeon; for the part of the sons of Judah was too much for them; therefore, the sons of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of Judah.

Como el territorio que les tocó a los hijos de Judá era demasiado grande, de allí se tomaron tierras para los hijos de Simeón, y así su territorio quedó en medio del de Judá.

10 ¶ The third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun according to their families, and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid.

El tercer sorteo le tocó a los hijos de Zabulón, conforme al número de sus familias, y el territorio que les tocó se extendía hasta Sarid.

11 A nd their border goes up towards the sea and to Maralah and reaches unto Dabbasheth and from there comes to the river that is before Jokneam,

Su frontera iba hacia el oeste hasta Marala, y llegaba hasta Dabeset; de allí seguía hasta el arroyo que está frente a Jocneán,

12 a nd turning from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising to the border of Chislothtabor and then goes out to Daberath and up to Japhia,

y de Sarid giraba al oriente, hacia donde nace el sol; de allí llegaba hasta la frontera con Quislot Tabor, y luego salía a Daberat y subía a Jafía;

13 a nd from there passes eastward toward the sunrising to Gittahhepher, to Ittahkazin, and goes out to Remmonmethoar around Neah;

pasaba hacia el costado oriental de Gat Jéfer y de Itacasín, y salía a Rimón, luego de rodear Negá;

14 a nd from here this border turns to the north to Hannathon, coming out in the valley of Jiphthahel

seguía luego hacia el norte, giraba por Janatón y salía al valle de Yeftajel.

15 a nd including Kattath, Nahallal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.

Abarcaba Catat, Nalal, Simerón, Idala y Belén; doce ciudades con sus aldeas.

16 T his is the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Éste fue el territorio de los hijos de Zabulón, conforme al número de sus familias.

17 ¶ And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the sons of Issachar according to their families.

El cuarto sorteo le correspondió a los hijos de Isacar, conforme al número de sus familias.

18 A nd their border was Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

Su territorio abarcaba Jezrel, Quesulot, Sunén,

19 H apharaim, Shion, Anaharath,

Jafarayin, Sijón, Anajarat,

20 R abbith, Kishion, Abez,

Rabit, Quisión, Abes,

21 R emeth, Engannim, Enhaddah, and Bethpazzez;

Remet, Enganín, Enadá y Bet Pasés.

22 a nd this border reaches to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Bethshemesh; and their border comes out to the Jordan; sixteen cities with their villages.

Su frontera llegaba hasta Tabor, Sajazimá y Bet Semes, y terminaba en el río Jordán; dieciséis ciudades con sus aldeas.

23 T his is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Éste fue el territorio de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, conforme al número de sus familias.

24 ¶ And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families.

El quinto sorteo le correspondió a la tribu de los hijos de Aser, conforme al número de sus familias.

25 A nd their border was Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,

Su territorio abarcaba Jelcat, Jalí, Betén, Acsaf,

26 A lammelech, Amad, and Misheal, and reaches to Carmel westward and to Shihorlibnath

Alamelec, Amad y Misal. Llegaba hasta el Carmelo al occidente, y a Sijor Libnat;

27 a nd turns toward the sunrising to Bethdagon and reaches to Zebulun and to the valley of Jiphthahel to the north, to Bethemek, and to Neiel, and goes out to Cabul on the left hand,

después daba vuelta hacia el oriente, hasta Bet Dagón, y llegaba a Zabulón, al valle de Yeftajel al norte, a Bet Émec y a Neyel, y salía a Cabul al norte.

28 a nd includes Abran, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;

Abarcaba Hebrón, Rejob, Gamón y Caná, hasta la gran Sidón.

29 a nd this border turns from there to Horma and to the strong city of Zor; and this border turns to Hosah and comes out to the sea from the stronghold of Achzib,

De allí, la frontera torcía hacia Ramá, hasta la ciudad fortificada de Tiro, giraba hacia Josá, y salía al mar desde el territorio de Aczib.

30 i ncluding Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.

También abarcaba Uma, Afec y Rejob; veintidós ciudades con sus aldeas.

31 T his is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Éste fue el territorio de la tribu de los hijos de Aser.

32 ¶ The sixth lot came out to the sons of Naphtali, for the sons of Naphtali according to their families.

El sexto sorteo le correspondió a los hijos de Neftalí, conforme al número de sus familias.

33 A nd their border was from Heleph, Allon, Zaanannim, Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum, and comes out at the Jordan,

El territorio abarcaba desde Jélef, Elón Sananín, Adami Néqueb y Jabnel, hasta Lacún, y salía al Jordán.

34 a nd turning westward this border goes to Aznothtabor and passes from there to Hukkok and reaches to Zebulun towards the Negev and reaches to Asher on the west side and to Judah upon the Jordan toward the sunrising.

La frontera giraba hacia el occidente, a Aznot Tabor, y de allí pasaba a Jucoc y hasta Zabulón al sur, y al occidente colindaba con Aser y con Judá por el Jordán, hacia donde nace el sol.

35 A nd the strong cities are Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,

Sus ciudades fortificadas eran Sidín, Ser, Jamat, Racat, Cineret,

36 A damah, Ramah, Hazor,

Adama, Ramá, Jazor,

37 K edesh, Edrei, Enhazor,

Cedes, Edrey, Enjazor,

38 I ron, Migdalel, Horem, Bethanath, and Bethshemesh: nineteen cities with their villages.

Irón, Migdal El, Jorén, Bet Anat y Bet Semes; diecinueve ciudades con sus aldeas.

39 T his is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Éste fue el territorio de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí.

40 ¶ And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Dan according to their families.

El séptimo sorteo le correspondió a la tribu de los hijos de Dan, conforme al número de sus familias.

41 A nd the border of their inheritance was Zorah, Eshtaol, Irshemesh,

El territorio que le tocó fue Sorá, Estaol, Ir Semes,

42 S haalabbin, Ajalon, Jethlah,

Salbín, Ayalón, Jetla,

43 E lon, Thimnathah, Ekron,

Elón, Timnat, Ecrón,

44 E ltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,

Elteque, Gibetón, Baalat,

45 J ehud, Beneberak, Gathrimmon,

Jehúd, Bené Berac, Gat Rimón,

46 M ejarkon, Rakkon, with the border before Joppa.

Mejarcón y Racón, más el territorio que está delante de Jope.

47 A nd the border of the sons of Dan went out too little for them; therefore, the sons of Dan went up to fight against Leshem and took it and smote it with the edge of the sword and possessed it and dwelt therein and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

Como a los hijos de Dan les faltó territorio, combatieron contra la ciudad de Lesén y tomaron posesión de ella y la habitaron, matando a filo de espada a sus habitantes. En honor a Dan, que era el nombre de su padre, la llamaron Dan.

48 T his is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Éste fue el territorio de los hijos de Dan, con sus ciudades y aldeas.

49 ¶ Thus they finished dividing the land in inheritance by their borders, and the sons of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun in their midst.

Cuando concluyó el reparto de tierras, los hijos de Israel le dieron su parte a Josué hijo de Nun en medio de ellos.

50 A ccording to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked for, which was Timnathserah in mountain of Ephraim; and he rebuilt the city and dwelt therein.

Conforme a lo que el Señor había ordenado, le dieron Timnat Seraj, en el monte de Efraín, porque ésa fue la ciudad que pidió Josué; y éste la reconstruyó para vivir en ella.

51 T hese are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony. So they finished dividing the land.

Éstas son las tierras que el sacerdote Eleazar, Josué hijo de Nun y los jefes del pueblo de Israel repartieron por sorteo en Silo para dárselas como herencia a cada una de las tribus de los hijos de Israel; todo se hizo en presencia del Señor, a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión. Así concluyó el reparto de la tierra.
