1 ¶ Ho, every one that thirsts, come ye to the waters, and he that has no money; come ye, buy, and eat; come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

»Todos ustedes, los que tienen sed: Vengan a las aguas; y ustedes, los que no tienen dinero, vengan y compren, y coman. Vengan y compren vino y leche, sin que tengan que pagar con dinero.

2 W hy do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which does not satisfy? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

¿Por qué gastan su dinero en lo que no alimenta, y su sueldo en lo que no les sacia? Escúchenme bien, y coman lo que es bueno; deléitense con la mejor comida.

3 I ncline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an eternal covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Inclinen su oído, y vengan a mí; escuchen y vivirán. Yo haré con ustedes un pacto eterno, que es el de mi invariable misericordia por David.

4 B ehold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a captain and teacher to the peoples.

Yo lo puse como testigo para los pueblos, y como jefe y maestro de las naciones.

5 B ehold, thou shalt call a people that thou knowest not, and Gentiles that did not know thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God and for the Holy One of Israel, for he has honoured thee.

Por causa del Señor tu Dios, por el Santo de Israel que te ha honrado, llamarás a gente que no conocías; pueblos que nunca te conocieron correrán a ti.»

6 ¶ Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near:

Busquen al Señor mientras pueda ser hallado; llámenlo mientras se encuentre cerca.

7 L et the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

¡Que dejen los impíos su camino, y los malvados sus malos pensamientos! ¡Que se vuelvan al Señor, nuestro Dios, y él tendrá misericordia de ellos, pues él sabe perdonar con generosidad.

8 F or my thoughts are not as your thoughts, neither are your ways as my ways, saith the LORD.

El Señor ha dicho: «Mis pensamientos no son los pensamientos de ustedes, ni son sus caminos mis caminos.

9 F or as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts more than your thoughts.

Así como los cielos son más altos que la tierra, también mis caminos y mis pensamientos son más altos que los caminos y pensamientos de ustedes.

10 F or as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and does not return there, but waters the earth and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater:

»Así como la lluvia y la nieve caen de los cielos, y no vuelven allá, sino que riegan la tierra y la hacen germinar y producir, con lo que dan semilla para el que siembra y pan para el que come,

11 S o shall my Word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall be prospered in that for which I sent it.

así también mi palabra, cuando sale de mi boca, no vuelve a mí vacía, sino que hace todo lo que yo quiero, y tiene éxito en todo aquello para lo cual la envié.

12 F or ye shall go out with joy, and be returned with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

»Ustedes saldrán con alegría, y volverán en paz; los montes y las colinas cantarán al paso de ustedes, y todos los árboles del campo aplaudirán.

13 I nstead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an eternal sign that shall not be cut off.

En lugar de zarzas, crecerán cipreses; en lugar de ortigas, crecerán arrayanes. Esto dará lustre al nombre del Señor; ¡será una señal eterna que durará para siempre!»
