1 ¶ Save me, O God, in thy name and defend me by thy valour.

Dios mío, ¡sálvame por tu nombre! ¡Defiéndeme con tu poder!

2 H ear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

Dios mío, ¡escucha mi oración! ¡Presta oído a las palabras de mi boca!

3 F or strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul; they have not set God before them. Selah.

Gente extraña se ha levantado contra mí; gente violenta intenta matarme. Dios mío, ¡son gente que no te toma en cuenta!

4 ¶ Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is with those that uphold my soul.

Pero tú, mi Dios, eres quien me ayuda; tú, Señor, eres quien sustenta mi vida.

5 H e shall reward evil unto my enemies; cut them off in thy truth.

Por tu fidelidad, ¡destrúyelos! ¡Devuélveles el mal a mis enemigos!

6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee; I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

Yo, Señor, te ofreceré sacrificios voluntarios, y alabaré tu nombre, porque es bueno alabarte;

7 F or he has delivered me out of all trouble, and my eye has seen his desire upon my enemies.

porque tú me has librado de toda angustia, y con mis ojos he visto la ruina de mis enemigos.
