1 ¶ These also are the generations of Aaron and of Moses in the day that the LORD spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.

А оце нащадки Ааронові та Мойсеєві в дні, коли Господь промовляв до Мойсея на Сінайській горі.

2 A nd these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab, the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

І оце імена Ааронових синів: перворідний Надав, і Авігу, Елеазар та Ітамар.

3 T hese are the names of the sons of Aaron, anointed priests, whose hands he filled to administer the priesthood.

Оце імена Ааронових синів, помазаних священиків, що він посвятив їх бути священиками.

4 B ut Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood in the sight of Aaron, their father.

Та помер Надав та Авігу перед Господнім лицем, коли вони принесли були чужий огонь перед Господнім лицем у Сінайській пустині, а синів у них не було. І були священиками Елеазар та Ітамар за життя батька свого Аарона.

5 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

6 B ring the tribe of Levi near and present them before Aaron, the priest, that they may minister unto him.

Приведи Левієве плем'я, і постав його перед священиком Аароном, і вони будуть услуговувати йому.

7 A nd they shall keep his commandment and the commandment of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the testimony, to minister in the service of the tabernacle.

І будуть вони виконувати сторожу його та всієї громади перед скинією заповіту, щоб виконувати службу скинійну.

8 A nd they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the testimony and the charge of the sons of Israel, to minister in the service of the tabernacle.

І будуть вони стерегти всі речі скинії заповіту та сторожу Ізраїлевих синів, щоб виконувати службу скинійну.

9 A nd thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons; they are completely given unto him out of the sons of Israel.

І даси Левитів Ааронові та синам його, власне йому вони дані від Ізраїлевих синів.

10 A nd thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons that they shall guard their priesthood; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

А Аарона та синів його постав, щоб вони пильнували свого священства, а чужий, хто наблизиться, буде забитий.

11 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

12 B ehold, I have taken the Levites from among the sons of Israel instead of all the firstborn that open the womb among the sons of Israel; therefore the Levites shall be mine;

А Я оце взяв Левитів з-посеред Ізраїлевих синів замість кожного перворідного, що розкривають утробу, з Ізраїлевих синів. І будуть Левити Мої,

13 b ecause all the firstborn are mine; from the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both of men and of animals; they shall be mine: I am the LORD.

бо Мій кожен перворідний. Того дня, коли Я був ударив кожного перворідного в єгипетськім краї, Я посвятив Собі кожного перворідного в Ізраїлі від людини аж до скотини, Мої вони будуть. Я Господь!

14 ¶ The LORD also spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея в Сінайській пустині, говорячи:

15 N umber the sons of Levi by the houses of their fathers, by their families; thou shalt number every male from a month old and upward.

Перелічи Левієвих синів за домами їхніх батьків, за родами їхніми, кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище перелічиш їх.

16 A nd Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.

І Мойсей перелічив їх за Господнім словом, як йому наказано.

17 A nd these were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon and Kohath and Merari.

І були за йменнями своїми оці Левієві сини: Ґершон, і Кегат, і Мерарі.

18 A nd these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.

А оце імена Ґершонових синів за їхніми родами: Лівні та Шім'ї.

19 A nd the sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

А сини Кегатові за їхніми родами: Амрам і Їцгар, Хеврон і Уззіїл.

20 A nd the sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the houses of their fathers.

А сини Мерарі за їхніми родами: Махлі та Муші. Оце вони, роди Левієві, за домами своїх батьків.

21 O f Gershon was the family of Libni and the family of Shimei; these are the families of Gershon.

Від Ґершона: рід Лівнієвих та рід Шім'їєвих. Оце вони, роди Ґершонових.

22 T hose that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, those that were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.

Перелічені їхні числом кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, перелічені їхні сім тисяч і п'ятсот.

23 T he families of Gershon shall pitch behind the tabernacle to the west;

Роди Ґершонових будуть таборувати за наметом на захід.

24 a nd the prince of the house of the father of the Gershonites, Eliasaph, son of Lael.

А начальник батьківського дому Ґершонових Ел'ясаф, син Лаїлів.

25 A nd the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the testimony shall be the tabernacle and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the testimony,

А догляд Ґершонових синів у скинії заповіту: скинія внутрішня і намет зовнішній, і покриття його, і завіса входу скинії заповіту,

26 a nd the hangings of the court and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.

і запони подвір'я, і заслона входу подвір'я, що на скинії та на жертівнику навколо, і шнури її до всієї служби його.

27 A nd of Kohath was the family of Amram and the family of Izehar and the family of Hebron and the family of Uzziel; these are the families of the Kohathites.

А від Кегата: рід Амрамових, і рід Іцхарових, і рід Хевронових, і рід Оззіїлових, оце вони, роди Кегатових.

28 I n the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.

Числом кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, вісім тисяч і шістсот, що пильнували сторожу святині.

29 T he families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle towards the Negev;

Роди Кегатових синів отаборяться на подовжньому боці скинії на південь.

30 a nd the prince of the house of the father of the families of Kohath, Elizaphan, son of Uzziel.

А начальник батькового дому родів Кегатових Еліцафан, син Уззіїлів.

31 A nd their charge shall be the ark and the table and the lampstand and the altars and the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the veil, with all its service.

А їхній догляд: ковчег, і стіл, і свічник, і жертівники, і святі речі, що служать ними, і завіса, і вся служба при тому.

32 A nd Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, shall be principal over the princes of the Levites and have the oversight of those that keep the charge of the sanctuary.

А начальник Левієвих начальників Елеазар, син священика Аарона, що мав догляд над тими, хто пильнує сторожу святині.

33 O f Merari was the family of Mahli and the family of Mushi; these are the families of Merari.

Від Мерарі: рід Махлієвих, і рід Мушієвих, оце вони, роди Мерарієві.

34 A nd those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred;

А перелічені їхні числом кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, шість тисяч і двісті.

35 a nd the prince of the house of the father of the families of Merari, Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle to the Aquilon.

А начальник батьківського дому Мерарієвих родів Цуріїл, син Авіхаїлів. Вони отаборяться на подовжнім боці скинії на північ.

36 A nd under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle and the bars thereof and the pillars thereof and the sockets thereof and all the instruments thereof, with all its service,

А догляд сторожі Мерарієвих синів: дошки скинії, і засови її, і стовпи її, і підстави її, і всі речі її, і вся служба її,

37 a nd the pillars of the court round about and their sockets and their stakes and their cords.

і стовпи подвір'я навколо, і їхні підстави, і кілки їхні, і їхні шнури.

38 A nd those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, before the tabernacle of the testimony towards the sunrise, shall be Moses and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the sons of Israel; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

А ті, що таборують спереду перед скинією, перед скинією заповіту на схід, Мойсей й Аарон та сини його, вони виконують сторожу святині, сторожу за Ізраїлевих синів. А чужий, хто наблизиться, буде забитий.

39 A ll that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron, according to the word of the LORD, numbered by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.

Усі перелічені Левитів, що перелічив Мойсей та Аарон на Господній наказ за їхніми родами, кожен чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, двадцять і дві тисячі.

40 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the sons of Israel from a month old and upward and take the number of their names.

І сказав Господь до Мойсея: Перелічи всіх перворідних чоловічої статі Ізраїлевих синів від місячного віку й вище, і перелічи число імен їх.

41 A nd thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel and the animals of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the animals of the sons of Israel.

І візьми для мене Левитів Я Господь! замість кожного перворідного Ізраїлевих синів, а худобу Левитів замість кожного перворідного серед худоби Ізраїлевих синів.

42 A nd Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.

І перелічив Мойсей, як Господь наказав був йому, усіх перворідних серед Ізраїлевих синів.

43 A nd all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.

І було всіх перворідних чоловічої статі числом імен від місячного віку й вище, за їхніми переліченими двадцять і дві тисячі двісті і сімдесят і три.

44 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

45 T ake the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel and the animals of the Levites instead of their animals, and the Levites shall be mine; I am the LORD.

Візьми Левитів замість кожного перворідного серед Ізраїлевих синів, а худобу Левитів замість їхньої худоби, і будуть Левити Мої. Я Господь!

46 A nd for the ransoms of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the sons of Israel, who are more than the Levites,

А на окуп тих двохсот і семидесяти і трьох, що позостали понад Левитами з перворідного Ізраїлевих синів,

47 t hou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them (the shekel is of twenty gerahs).

то візьми по п'яти шеклів на голову, на міру шеклем святині візьмеш, двадцять ґер шекель,

48 A nd thou shalt give the money, of the ransoms of the odd number of them, unto Aaron and to his sons.

і даси ті гроші Ааронові та синам його, як окуп за позосталих серед них.

49 A nd Moses took the ransom money of those that were over and above the ones that were redeemed by the Levites

І взяв Мойсей гроші окупу від позосталих понад викуплених Левитами,

50 a nd received of the firstborn of the sons of Israel, in money, a thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

від перворідного Ізраїлевих синів узяв він ті гроші, тисячу і триста і шістдесят і п'ять на міру шеклем святині.

51 A nd Moses gave the money of the ransoms unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

І дав Мойсей гроші окупу Ааронові та синами його за Господнім наказом, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві.
