1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the testimony, on the first of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея в Сінайській пустині в скинії заповіту першого дня другого місяця, другого року від виходу їх з єгипетського краю, говорячи:

2 T ake the sum of all the congregation of the sons of Israel by their families, by the houses of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls,

Перелічіть усю громаду Ізраїлевих синів за родами їхніми, за домами їхніх батьків числом усіх чоловічої статі за їх головами,

3 f rom twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel; thou and Aaron shall number them by their hosts.

від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожного, хто здатний до війська в Ізраїлі, за військовими відділами їхніми перелічіть їх ти та Аарон.

4 A nd with you there shall be a man of every tribe, every one head of the house of his fathers.

А з вами будуть по одному мужеві для племени; той муж голова дому батьків своїх він.

5 A nd these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;

А оце ймення тих мужів, що стануть із вами: для Рувима Еліцур, син Шедеурів;

6 o f Simeon, Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai;

для Симеона Шелуміїл, син Цурішаддаїв;

7 o f Judah, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab;

для Юди Нахшон, син Аммінадавів;

8 o f Issachar, Nethaneel, the son of Zuar;

для Іссахара Натанаїл, син Цуарів;

9 o f Zebulun, Eliab, the son of Helon;

для Завулона Елів, син Хелонів;

10 o f the sons of Joseph, of Ephraim, Elishama, the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh, Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur;

для Йосипових синів, від Єфрема Елішама, син Аммігудів; від Манасії Гамаліїл, син Педацурів;

11 o f Benjamin, Abidan, the son of Gideoni;

для Веніямина Авідан, син Ґід'оніїв;

12 o f Dan, Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai;

для Дана Ахіезер, син Аммішаддаїв;

13 o f Asher, Pagiel, the son of Ocran;

для Асира Паґ'іїл, син Охранів;

14 o f Gad, Eliasaph, the son of Deuel;

для Ґада Ел'ясаф, син Деуїлів;

15 o f Naphtali, Ahira, the son of Enan;

для Нефталима Ахіра, син Енанів.

16 t hese were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, captains of the thousands of Israel.

Оце покликані громади, начальники племен їхніх батьків. Вони голови тисяч Ізраїлевих.

17 ¶ And Moses and Aaron took these men who were designated by their names,

І взяв Мойсей та Аарон тих мужів, що були названі пойменно,

18 a nd they assembled all the congregation together on the first of the second month, and they were gathered by their lineages, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls,

і вони зібрали всю ту громаду першого дня другого місяця. І вони виявили родоводи свої за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, за головами їх,

19 a s the LORD had commanded Moses; and he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві. І він перелічив їх у Сінайській пустині.

20 A nd the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

І було синів Рувима, перворідного Ізраїлевого, їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен за головами їх, усіх чоловічої статі від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

21 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.

перелічені їхні від Рувимового племені сорок і шість тисяч і п'ятсот.

22 O f the sons of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, those that were numbered of him, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Симеонових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків перелік їх числом імен за головами їхніми, усі чоловічої статі від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

23 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

перелічені їхні від Симеонового племени п'ятдесят і дев'ять тисяч і триста.

24 O f the sons of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Ґадових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

25 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

перелічені їхні від Ґадового племени сорок і п'ять тисяч і шістсот і п'ятдесят.

26 O f the sons of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Юдових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

27 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.

перелічені їхні від Юдового племени сімдесят і чотири тисячі й шістсот.

28 O f the sons of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Іссахарових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

29 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

перелічені їхні від Іссахарового племени п'ятдесят і чотири тисячі й чотириста.

30 O f the sons of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Завулонових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

31 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

перелічені їхні від Завулонового племени п'ятдесят і сім тисяч і чотириста.

32 O f the sons of Joseph: of the sons of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Йосипових синів: у Єфремових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

33 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred; and

перелічені їхні від Єфремового племени сорок тисяч і п'ятсот.

34 o f the sons of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У синів Манасії їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

35 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

перелічені їхні від племени Манасіїного тридцять і дві тисячі й двісті.

36 O f the sons of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Веніяминових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

37 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.

перелічені їхні від Веніяминового племени тридцять і п'ять тисяч і чотириста.

38 O f the sons of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Данових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

39 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

перелічені їхні від Данового племени шістдесят і дві тисячі й сімсот.

40 O f the sons of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У Асирових синів їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

41 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.

перелічені їхні від Асирового племени, сорок і одна тисяча й п'ятсот.

42 O f the sons of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

У синів Нефталимових їхніх нащадків за їхніми родами, за домами їхніх батьків числом імен від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська,

43 t hose that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.

перелічені їхні від племени Нефталимового п'ятдесят і три тисячі й чотириста.

44 ¶ These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the twelve princes of Israel, one man for each house of his fathers.

Оце ті перелічені, кого перелічив Мойсей й Аарон та Ізраїлеві начальники, дванадцятеро мужа, вони були по одному мужеві для дому батьків своїх.

45 S o were all those that were numbered of the sons of Israel, by the houses of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

І були всі перелічені з Ізраїлевих синів за домами батьків своїх від віку двадцяти літ і вище, кожен, хто здатний до війська, в Ізраїлі,

46 a ll those that were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

і були всі перелічені шістсот тисяч і три тисячі й п'ятсот і п'ятдесят.

47 ¶ But the Levites according to the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

А Левити не були перелічені серед них за племенем батьків своїх.

48 F or the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

49 O nly thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the sons of Israel;

Тільки Левієвого племени не переглянеш і не перелічиш їх серед Ізраїлевих синів.

50 B ut thou shalt place the Levites in the tabernacle of the testimony and over all the vessels thereof and over all things that belong to it; they shall bear the tabernacle and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister in it and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

А ти постав Левитів наглядачами над скинією свідоцтва, і над усіма речами її та над усім, що її. Вони будуть носити скинію та всі її речі, і вони будуть обслуговувати її, і отаборяться навколо скинії.

51 A nd when the tabernacle departs, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

А коли скинія буде рушати, Левити розберуть її, а коли буде спинятися скинія, Левити поставлять її. А якщо наблизиться чужий, він нехай буде забитий.

52 A nd the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, each man by his own camp and each man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

І отаборяться Ізраїлеві сини кожен у таборі своїм, і кожен при своїм прапорі за своїми військовими відділами.

53 B ut the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of the testimony that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel; and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

А Левити отаборяться навколо скинії свідоцтва, щоб не було гніву на громаду Ізраїлевих синів. І будуть Левити виконувати сторожу скинії свідоцтва.

54 A nd the sons of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

І зробили Ізраїлеві сини, згідно зо всім, як наказав був Господь Мойсеєві, так зробили вони.
