1 ¶ I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.

(115-1) Люблю я Господа, бо Він почув голос мій у благаннях моїх,

2 B ecause he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore I will call upon him all of my days.

(115-2) бо Він нахилив Своє ухо до мене, і я кликатиму в свої дні!

3 T he sorrows of death compassed me and the pains of Sheol found me; I encountered trouble and sorrow.

(115-3) Болі смерти мене оточили і знайшли мене муки шеолу, нещастя та смуток знайшов я!

4 T hen I called upon the name of the LORD, saying, O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

(115-4) А я в ім'я Господа кличу: О Господи, визволи ж душу мою!

5 G racious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

(115-5) Господь милостивий та справедливий, і наш Бог милосердний!

6 T he LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and he saved me.

(115-6) Пильнує Господь недосвідчених, став я нужденний, та Він допоможе мені!

7 R eturn unto thy rest, O my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with thee.

(115-7) Вернися, о душе моя, до свого відпочинку, бо Господь робить добре тобі,

8 F or thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

(115-8) бо від смерти Ти визволив душу мою, від сльози моє око, ногу мою від спотикання.

9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

(115-9) Я ходитиму перед обличчям Господнім на землях живих!

10 ¶ I believed, therefore I spoke, and was greatly afflicted;

(116-1) Я вірив, коли говорив: Я сильно пригнічений!

11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.

(116-2) Я сказав був у поспіху: Кожна людина говорить неправду!

12 W hat shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

(116-3) Чим я відплачу Господеві за всі добродійства Його на мені?

13 I will take the cup of saving health and invoke the name of the LORD.

(116-4) Я чашу спасіння прийму, і прикличу Господнє ім'я!

14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

(116-5) Присяги свої Господеві я виконаю перед усім народом Його!

15 P recious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his merciful ones.

(116-6) Дорога в очах Господа смерть богобійних Його!

16 T his is so, O LORD, because I am thy slave; I am thy slave, the son of thine handmaid; thou hast loosed my bonds.

(116-7) О Господи, я бо Твій раб, я Твій раб, син Твоєї невільниці, Ти кайдани мої розв'язав!

17 I will offer unto thee the sacrifice of praise and will invoke the name of the LORD.

(116-8) Я жертву подяки Тобі принесу, і Господнім ім'ям буду кликати!

18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

(116-9) Присяги свої Господеві я виконаю перед усім народом Його,

19 i n the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Halelu-JAH.

(116-10) на подвір'ях Господнього дому, посеред тебе, о Єрусалиме! Алілуя!
