1 ¶ Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of the capital of Meshech and Tubal;

А ти, сину людський, пророкуй на Ґоґа та й скажеш: Так говорить Господь Бог: Ото Я на тебе, княже Рошу, Мешеху та Тувалу!

2 a nd I will break thee, and leave but the sixth part of thee and will cause thee to come up from the north parts and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

І верну тебе, і попроваджу тебе, і підійму тебе з північних кінців, і впроваджу тебе на Ізраїлеві гори.

3 a nd I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

І виб'ю лука твого з твоєї лівиці, а твої стріли кину з твоєї правиці.

4 T hou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy companies and the peoples that go with thee; I have given thee unto every bird and unto everything that flies and to the beasts of the field as food.

Упадеш на Ізраїлевих горах ти й усі відділи твої та народи, що з тобою; віддам тебе на з'їдження хижому птаству, усякому крилатому та польовій звірині.

5 T hou shalt fall upon the open field for I have spoken it, said the Lord GOD.

На відкритому полі впадеш ти, бо це Я говорив, говорить Господь Бог!

6 A nd I will send a fire on Magog, and among those that dwell securely in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

І пошлю Я огонь на Маґоґа та на тих, що безпечно замешкують острови, і пізнають вони, що Я Господь!

7 S o I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more; and the Gentiles shall know that I am the LORD, Holy in Israel.

А Своє святе Ім'я розголошу посеред Мого народу Ізраїля, і більше не дам зневажити святе Моє Ймення, і народи пізнають, що Я Господь, Святий Ізраїлів!

8 ¶ Behold, it is come, and it is over, said the Lord GOD; this is the day of which I have spoken.

Ось прийде і станеться, говорить Господь Бог, це той день, що Я говорив.

9 A nd those that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and shall set on fire and burn weapons, and shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, and handstaves, and spears, and they shall burn them in the fire for seven years:

І повиходять мешканці Ізраїлевих міст, і накладуть огонь, і палитимуть зброю та щитка й щита, лука та стріли, і ручноно кия та ратище, і будуть ними палити огонь сім років.

10 s o that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons in the fire; and they shall spoil those that spoiled them and rob those that robbed them, said the Lord GOD.

І не будуть носити дров з поля, і не будуть рубати з лісів, бо зброєю будуть палити огонь, і візьмуть здобич із тих, хто брав здобич із них, і пограбують тих, хто їх грабував, говорить Господь Бог.

11 A nd it shall come to pass in that day that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers; and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude; and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.

І станеться того дня, дам Я там Ґоґові місце гробу в Ізраїлі, Долину Перехожих, на схід від моря, і що замикає дорогу перехожим. І поховають там Ґоґа й усе його многолюдство, та й назвуть: Долина Многолюдства Ґоґа.

12 A nd seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them that they may cleanse the land.

І буде ховати їх Ізраїлів дім, щоб очистити землю, сім місяців.

13 A ll the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown, the day that I shall be glorified, said the Lord GOD.

І буде ховати ввесь народ краю, і він стане для них за пам'ятку, того дня, коли Я прославлю Себе, говорить Господь Бог.

14 A nd they shall take men out of continual employment, who shall go through the land with the passengers to bury those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it; after the end of seven months they shall search.

І відділять людей, які без перерви ходитимуть по краю й ховатимуть з перехожими позосталих ще на поверхні землі, щоб її очистити. По семи місяцях вони ще будуть вишукувати.

15 A nd the passengers that pass through the land, when any sees a man’s bone, then he shall set up a sign by it, until the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.

І перейдуть ті обхідники по краю, і коли хто побачить людську кістку, то поставить при ній знака, аж поки не поховають її похоронники в Долині Многолюдства Ґоґа.

16 A nd also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

А ім'я міста Гамона. І очистять землю.

17 A nd, thou son of man, thus hath the Lord GOD said: Speak unto every bird, unto everything that flies, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

А ти, сину людський, так говорить Господь Бог: Скажи птахові, усякому крилатому, та всій польовій звірині: Згромадьтеся й прийдіть, зберіться навколо над жертвою, що Я принесу для вас, велика жертва на Ізраїлевих горах, і ви будете їсти м'ясо, і будете пити кров.

18 Y e shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of he goats, of oxen, and of bulls, all of them fattened in Bashan.

Ви будете їсти тіло лицарів, а кров князів землі будете пити, барани, і вівці, і козли, бики, ситі башанські бики всі вони.

19 A nd ye shall eat fat until ye are full, and drink blood until ye are drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

І будете їсти лій аж до ситости, і будете пити кров аж до впоєння з Моєї жертви, яку Я приніс для вас,

20 T hus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and strong chariots, and with all the men of war, said the Lord GOD.

і насититеся при Моєму столі кіньми та верхівцями, лицарями та всякими вояками, говорить Господь Бог!

21 A nd I will set my glory among the Gentiles, and all the Gentiles shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

І дам Свою славу між народами, і побачать усі народи Мій суд, що зроблю Я, та Мою руку, що на них покладу.

22 S o the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

І пізнає Ізраїлів дім, що Я Господь, їхній Бог, від цього дня й далі.

23 ¶ And the Gentiles shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity because they rebelled against me, and I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their enemies; so they all fell by the sword.

І пізнають народи, що Ізраїлів дім пішов на вигнання за провини свої, за те, що спроневірилися Мені, а Я сховав був від них лице Своє, і віддав їх у руку їхніх неприятелів, і всі вони попадали від меча.

24 A ccording to their uncleanness and according to their rebellions have I done unto them and hid my face from them.

За їхньою нечистістю та за їхнє беззаконня зробив Я це з ними, і сховав від них лице Своє.

25 T herefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: Now I will turn the captivity of Jacob and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel and will be jealous for my holy name.

Тому так говорить Господь Бог: Тепер поверну долю Якова, і змилуюся над усім Ізраїлевим домом, і буду ревний за Своє святе Ймення.

26 A fter they shall feel their shame and all their rebellion by which they have rebelled against me when they dwelt safely in their land, and no one made them afraid.

І відчують вони свою ганьбу та все своє спроневірення, яким спроневірилися Мені, коли сядуть безпечно на своїй землі, і не буде вже нікого, хто б їх страшив,

27 W hen I bring them again from the peoples and gather them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many Gentiles.

коли поверну їх з народів, і позбираю їх із країв їхніх ворогів, і покажу Свою святість у них на очах численних народів.

28 A nd they shall know that I am the LORD their God when after causing them to be led into captivity among the Gentiles; I shall gather them unto their own land, without leaving any of them there any longer.

І пізнають вони, що Я Господь, Бог їхній, коли вижену їх у полон до народів, а потому позбираю їх на їхню землю, і більш не позоставлю там нікого з них.

29 N either will I hide my face any longer from them, for I will pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, said the Lord GOD.

І не сховаю вже від них Свого лиця, бо виллю Духа Свого на Ізраїлів дім, говорить Господь Бог!
