1 ¶ These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

3 T he sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him.

Юдині сини: Ер, і Онан, і Шела, троє народилися йому від ханаанеянки Бат-Шуї. І був Ер, Юдин первороджений, нечестивий в очах Господа, і Він забив його.

4 A nd Tamar, his daughter-in-law, gave birth unto him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

А Тамар, невістка його, породила йому Переца та Зеваха, усіх Юдиних синів п'ятеро.

5 T he sons of Pharez: Hezron and Hamul.

Сини Перецові: Хецрон та Хамул.

6 A nd the sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara, five of them in all.

А сини Зерахові: Зімрі, і Етан, і Геман, і Калкол, і Дера, усіх їх п'ятеро.

7 A nd the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the anathema.

А Кармієві сини: Ахар, що напровадив біду на Ізраїля, що спроневірився в заклятті.

8 A zariah was the son of Ethan.

А сини Етанові: Азарія.

9 T he sons that were born unto Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.

А сини Хецронові, що народилися йому: Єрахмеїл, і Рам, і Келувай.

10 A nd Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

А Рам породив Аммінадава, а Аммінадав породив Нахшона, начальника синів Юдиних.

11 A nd Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

А Нахшон породив Салму, а Салма породив Боаза,

12 A nd Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

а Боаз породив Оведа, а Овед породив Єссея.

13 A nd Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second and Shimma the third,

А Єссей породив свого первородженого Еліава, і Авінадава другого, і Шім'у третього,

14 N ethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

Натаніїла четвертого, Раддая п'ятого,

15 O zem the sixth, David the seventh,

Оцема шостого, Давида сьомого.

16 w hose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah were three: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.

А їхні сестри: Церуя й Авідаїл. А Церуїні сини: Авшай, і Йоав, і Аса-Ел, усіх троє.

17 A nd Abigail gave birth to Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmeelite.

А Авіґаїл породила Амасу, а батько Амасин їшмеелянин Єтер.

18 ¶ And Caleb, the son of Hezron, begat Jerioth of Azubah, his wife. And her sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

А Калев, Хецронів син, породив зо своєю жінкою Азувою та з Еріот дітей. А оце сини її: Єшер, і Шовав, і Ардон.

19 A nd when Azubah was dead, Caleb took Ephrath as wife, who gave birth to Hur unto him.

І померла Азува, а Калев узяв собі Ефрату, і вона породила йому Хура.

20 A nd Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

А Хур породив Урі, а Урі породив Бецаліїла.

21 A nd afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir, the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old, and she gave birth to Segub unto him.

А потому прийшов Хецрон до дочки Махіра, Ґілеадового батька, і він узяв її, а він був віку шостидесяти років, і вона породила йому Сеґува.

22 A nd Segub begat Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

А Сеґув породив Яіра, і він мав двадцять і три місті в ґілеадському краї.

23 A nd Geshur and Aram took the cities of Jair from them, with Kenath and its towns, even sixty cities. All these were of the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.

Але Ґешур та Арам забрали від них Яірові оселі, Кенат та залежні від нього міста, шістдесят міст. Усе це сини Махіра, Ґілеадового батька.

24 A nd after Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah, Hezron’s wife, gave birth to Ashur unto him, the father of Tekoa.

А по Хецроновій смерті прийшов Калев до Єфрати, і Хецронова жінка Авійя породила йому Ашхура, батька Текої.

25 A nd the sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram, the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

А сини Єрахмеїла, Хецронового первородженого, були: первороджений Рам, і Буна, і Орен, і Оцем, Ахійя.

26 J erahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

І була в Єрахмеїла інша жінка, а ім'я їй Атара, вона мати Онама.

27 A nd the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

А сини Рама, Єрахмеїлового первородженого, були: Маац, і Ямін, і Екер.

28 A nd the sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai, Nadab, and Abishur.

А сини Онамові були: Шаммай, і Яда. А сини Шаммая: Надав та Авішур.

29 A nd the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she gave birth to Ahban and Molid unto him.

А ім'я Авішуровій жінці Авіхаїл, і вона породила йому Ахбана та Моліда.

30 A nd the sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. But Seled died without children.

А сини Надавові: Селед та Аппаїм, а Селед помер без дітей.

31 A nd Ishi was the son of Appaim. And Sheshan, the son of Ishi; and the son of Sheshan, Ahlai.

А сини Аппаїмові: Їш'ї. А сини Їш'ї: Шешан. А сини Шешанові: Ахлай.

32 A nd the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.

А сини Яди, Шаммаєвого брата: Єтер і Йонатан. І помер Єтер без дітей.

33 A nd the sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

А Йонатанові сини: Пелет, і Заза, оце були сини Єрахмеїлові.

34 N ow Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a slave, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

А в Шешана не було синів, а тільки дочки. Був у Шешана раб єгиптянин, а ім'я йому Ярха.

35 A nd Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha, his slave, to wife; and she bore him Attai.

І дав Шешан рабові своєму Ярсі свою дочку за жінку, і вона породила йому Аттая.

36 A nd Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

А Аттай породив Натана, а Натан породив Завада,

37 a nd Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

А Завад породив Ефлала, а Ефлал породив Оведа.

38 a nd Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

А Овед породив Єгу, а Єгу породив Азарію,

39 a nd Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

а Азарія породив Хелеца, а Хелец породив Ел'асу.

40 a nd Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

А Ел'аса породив Сісмая, а Сісмай породив Шаллума.

41 a nd Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

А Шаллум породив Єкамію, а Єкамія породив Елішаму.

42 N ow the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and of his other sons, Mareshah, the father of Hebron.

А сини Калева, Єрахмеїлового брата: Меша, його первороджений, він батько Зіфа. І сини Мареші, Хевронового батька.

43 A nd the sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

А Хевронові сини: Корах, і Таппуах, і Рекем, і Шама.

44 A nd Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam; and Rekem begat Shammai.

А Шама породив Рахама, Єракеамового батька, а Рекем породив Шаммая.

45 A nd the son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Bethzur.

А сини Шаммаєві: Маон, а Маон був основник Бет-Цуру.

46 A nd Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Haran, Moza, and Gazez unto him, and Haran begat Gazez.

А Ефа, наложниця Калева, породила Харана, і Моцу, і Ґазеза. А Харан породив Ґазеза.

47 A nd the sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

А сини Єгдаєві: Реґем, і Йотам, і Ґешан, і Фелет, і Ефа, і Шааф.

48 M aachah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Sheber and Tirhanah unto him.

Калевова наложниця Мааха породила Шевера та Тірхату.

49 S he also gave birth to Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, Sheva, the father of Machbenah and father of Gibea. And Achsah was the daughter of Caleb.

І породила вона Шаафа, батька Мадманни, Шеву, батька Махбени, та батька Ґів'и. А дочка Калевова Ахса.

50 T hese were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah: Shobal, the father of Kirjathjearim,

Оце були сини Калева, сина Гура, первородженого Ефрати: Шовал, батько Кір'ят-Єаріму,

51 S alma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Bethgader.

Салма, батько Віфлеєма, Гареф, батько Бе-Ґадеру.

52 A nd the sons of Shobal, the father of Kirjathjearim, who was lord of half of Manaheth.

У Шовала, батька Кір'ят-Єаріму, були сини: Гарое, Хаці-Гамменухот.

53 A nd the families of Kirjathjearim: the Ithrites and the Puhites and the Shumathites and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites and the Eshtaulites.

А роди Кір'ят-Єаріма: їтряни, путяни, шуматяни, мішраяни, від них пішли цор'атяни та єштауляни.

54 T he sons of Salma: Bethlehem and the Netophathites, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.

Сини Салмині: Бет-Лехем, і нетофаляни, Атрот, Бет-Йоав, і хаці-гаммонахтяни, цоряни.

55 A nd the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

А роди писарів, мешканців Ябецу, тір'атяни, шім'атяни, сухатяни, вони кіняни, що походять від Хамата, батька Бет-Рехавового.
