18 ¶ And Caleb, the son of Hezron, begat Jerioth of Azubah, his wife. And her sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

Caleb, fiul lui Heţron, a avut copii cu nevastă-sa Azuba, şi cu Ieriot. Iată fiii pe cari i -a avut cu Azuba: Ieşer, Şobab şi Ardon.

19 A nd when Azubah was dead, Caleb took Ephrath as wife, who gave birth to Hur unto him.

Azuba a murit; şi Caleb a luat pe Efrat, care i -a născut pe Hur.

20 A nd Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

Hur a născut pe Uri, şi Uri a născut pe Beţaleel. -

21 A nd afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir, the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old, and she gave birth to Segub unto him.

În urmă, Heţron a intrat la fiica lui Machir, tatăl lui Galaad, şi avea şasezeci de ani cînd a luat -o; ea i -a născut pe Segub.

22 A nd Segub begat Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

23 A nd Geshur and Aram took the cities of Jair from them, with Kenath and its towns, even sixty cities. All these were of the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.

25 A nd the sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram, the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 J erahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27 A nd the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28 A nd the sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai, Nadab, and Abishur.

29 A nd the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she gave birth to Ahban and Molid unto him.

30 A nd the sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. But Seled died without children.

35 A nd Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha, his slave, to wife; and she bore him Attai.

40 a nd Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

41 a nd Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42 N ow the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and of his other sons, Mareshah, the father of Hebron.
