1 ¶ And the LORD called unto Moses, and spoke unto him out of the tabernacle of the testimony, saying,

Domnul a chemat pe Moise; i -a vorbit din cortul întîlnirii, şi a zis:

2 S peak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, When any of you offers an offering unto the LORD of animals, of cattle, even of the cows, or of the sheep ye shall make your offering.

Vorbeşte copiilor lui Israel, şi spune-le: Cînd cineva dintre voi va aduce un dar Domnului, să -l aducă din vite, fie din cireadă fie din turmă.

3 ¶ If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the LORD.

Dacă darul lui va fi o ardere de tot din cireadă, să -l aducă din partea bărbătească fără cusur; şi anume să -l aducă la uşa cortului întîlnirii, înaintea Domnului, ca să fie plăcut Domnului.

4 A nd he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering, and he shall accept it to reconcile him.

Să-şi pună mîna pe capul dobitocului adus ca ardere de tot, şi va fi primit de Domnul, ca să facă ispăşire pentru el.

5 T hen he shall kill the bullock before the LORD; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall offer the blood and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

Să junghie viţelul înaintea Domnului; şi preoţii, fiii lui Aaron, să aducă sîngele, şi să -l stropească de jur împrejur pe altarul dela uşa cortului întîlnirii.

6 A nd he shall flay the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.

Să jupoaie viţelul adus ca ardere de tot, şi să -l taie în bucăţi.

7 A nd the sons of Aaron, the priest, shall put fire upon the altar and lay the wood in order upon the fire.

Fiii preotului Aaron să facă foc pe altar şi să pună lemne pe foc.

8 T hen the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which shall be upon the altar;

Preoţii, fiii lui Aaron, să aşeze bucăţile, capul şi grăsimea, pe lemnele puse pe focul de pe altar.

9 b ut he shall wash its intestines and its legs in water, and the priest shall incense it all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering on fire, of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.

Să spele cu apă măruntaiele şi picioarele; şi preotul să le ardă toate pe altar. Aceasta este o ardere de tot, o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului.

10 ¶ And if his offering is of the sheep, namely of the lambs or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice, he shall offer a male without blemish.

Dacă darul lui va fi o ardere de tot din turmă, de miei sau capre, să aducă o parte bărbătească fără cusur.

11 A nd he must kill it on the side of the altar, to the Aquilon before the LORD; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle its blood round about upon the altar.

Să -l junghie în partea de miazănoapte a altarului, înaintea Domnului; şi preoţii, fiii lui Aaron, să -i stropească sîngele pe altar de jur împrejur.

12 A nd he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which shall be upon the altar;

El să -l taie în bucăţi; şi preotul să le pună, împreună cu capul şi grăsimea, pe lemnele din focul de pe altar.

13 a nd he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water; and the priest shall offer it all and incense it upon the altar; it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering on fire, of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.

Să spele cu apă măruntaiele şi picioarele, şi preotul să le aducă pe toate, şi să le ardă pe altar. Aceasta este o ardere de tot, o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului.

14 A nd if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD is to be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves or of young pigeons.

Dacă darul adus de el Domnului va fi o ardere de tot din păsări, să -l aducă din turturele sau din pui de porumbel.

15 A nd the priest shall offer it upon the altar and wring off its head and incense it on the altar; and its blood shall be wrung out upon the side of the altar:

Preotul să aducă pasărea pe altar; să -i despice capul cu unghia, şi s'o ardă pe altar, iar sîngele să i se scurgă pe un perete al altarului.

16 A nd he shall pluck away its crop and its feathers and cast them beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes with the burnt fat.

Să scoată guşa cu penele ei, şi s'o arunce lîngă altar, spre răsărit, în locul unde se strînge cenuşa.

17 A nd he shall cleave it by its wings but shall not divide it in two; and the priest shall incense it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire; it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering on fire of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.

Să -i frîngă aripile, fără să le deslipească; şi preotul să ardă pasărea pe altar, pe lemnele de pe foc. Aceasta este o ardere de tot, o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului.
