1 ¶ Keep the month of the new fruit, and thou shalt do the passover unto the LORD thy God; for in the month of the new fruit the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

Păzeşte luna spicelor, şi prăznuieşte sărbătoarea Paştelor în cinstea Domnului, Dumnezeului tău; căci în luna spicelor te -a scos Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, din Egipt, noaptea.

2 T hou shalt, therefore, sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the sheep and the cows, in the place which the LORD shall choose to cause his name to dwell therein.

Să jertfeşti Paştele în cinstea Domnului, Dumnezeului tău, jertfele tale de oi şi boi, în locul pe care -l va alege Domnul ca să-Şi aşeze Numele acolo.

3 T hou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou didst come forth out of the land of Egypt in haste; that thou may remember the day when thou didst come forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

În timpul sărbătorii, să nu mănînci pîne dospită, ci şapte zile să mănînci azimi, pînea întristării, căci ai ieşit în grabă din ţara Egiptului: aşa să faci, ca să-ţi aduci aminte toată viaţa ta de ziua cînd ai ieşit din ţara Egiptului.

4 A nd there shall be no leavened bread seen in thee within all thy borders for seven days; neither shall any of the flesh which thou didst sacrifice the evening of the first day remain all night until the morning.

Să nu se vadă aluat la tine, pe toată întinderea ţării tale, timp de şapte zile; şi nicio parte din vitele pe cari le vei jertfi în seara celei dintîi zile să nu fie păstrată peste noapte pînă dimineaţa.

5 T hou may not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates (or within any of thy towns) which the LORD thy God gives thee

Nu vei putea să jertfeşti Paştele în vreunul din locurile pe cari ţi le dă Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, ca locuinţă;

6 b ut at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to cause his name to dwell in; there thou shalt sacrifice the passover in the evening, at the going down of the sun, at the appointed time when thou came forth out of Egypt.

ci în locul pe care -l va alege Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, ca să-Şi aşeze Numele în el, acolo să jertfeşti Paştele, seara, la apusul soarelui, pe vremea ieşirii tale din Egipt.

7 A nd thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, and thou shalt turn in the morning and return unto thy tabernacles.

Să fierbi vita tăiată, şi s'o mănînci în locul pe care -l va alege Domnul, Dumnezeul tău. Şi dimineaţa, vei putea să te întorci şi să te duci în corturile tale.

8 S ix days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day shall be a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God; thou shalt do no work in this.

Şase zile, să mănînci azimi, şi a şaptea zi să fie o adunare de sărbătoare în cinstea Domnului, Dumnezeului tău: să nu faci nici o lucrare în ea.

9 S even weeks shalt thou number unto thee; begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou shalt begin to put the sickle to the grain.

Să numeri şapte săptămîni; de cînd vei începe seceratul grîului, să începi să numeri şapte săptămîni.

10 A nd thou shalt do the solemn feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God; out of the voluntary abundance of thy hand thou shalt give, according as the LORD thy God has blessed thee.

Apoi să prăznuieşti sărbătoarea săptămînilor, şi să aduci daruri de bună voie, după binecuvîntarea pe care ţi -o va da Domnul, Dumnezeul tău.

11 A nd thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou and thy son and thy daughter and thy manslave and thy maidslave and the Levite that is within thy gates and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God has chosen to place his name there.

Să te bucuri înaintea Domnului, Dumnezeului tău, în locul pe care -l va alege Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, ca să locuiască Numele Lui acolo, tu, fiul tău şi fiica ta, robul şi roaba ta, Levitul care va fi în cetăţile tale, şi străinul, orfanul şi văduva cari vor fi în mijlocul tău.

12 A nd thou shalt remember that thou wast a slave in Egypt; therefore thou shalt keep and do these statutes.

Să-ţi aduci aminte că ai fost rob în Egipt, şi să păzeşti şi să împlineşti legile acestea.

13 T hou shalt observe the solemn feast of the tabernacles seven days after thou hast gathered in the harvest of thy threshing floor and thy winepress.

Să prăznuieşti sărbătoarea corturilor şapte zile, dupăce îţi vei strînge roadele din arie şi din teasc.

14 A nd thou shalt rejoice in thy solemn feast, thou and thy son and thy daughter and thy manslave and thy maidslave and the Levite and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, that are within thy gates (or within thy towns).

Să te bucuri la sărbătoarea aceasta, tu, fiul tău şi fiica ta, robul şi roaba ta, şi Levitul, străinul, orfanul şi văduva cari vor fi în cetăţile tale.

15 S even days shalt thou celebrate a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose; because the LORD thy God shall have blessed thee in all thy fruits and in all the works of thine hands, therefore, thou shalt truly be glad.

Să prăznuieşti sărbătoarea şapte zile în cinstea Domnului, Dumnezeului tău, în locul pe care -l va alege Domnul; căci Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, te va binecuvînta în toate rodurile tale şi în tot lucrul mînilor tale, şi de aceea să fii vesel.

16 T hree times each year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose: in the solemn feast of unleavened bread and in the solemn feast of weeks and in the solemn feast of the tabernacles. And they shall not appear before the LORD empty,

De trei ori pe an, toţi bărbaţii să se înfăţişeze înaintea Domnului, Dumnezeului tău, în locul pe care -l va alege El: la sărbătoarea azimilor, la sărbătoarea săptămînilor, şi la sărbătoarea corturilor. Să nu se înfăţişeze cu mînile goale înaintea Domnului.

17 E ach man with the gift of his hand, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God, which he shall have given thee.

Fiecare să dea ce va putea, după binecuvîntarea pe care i -o va da Domnul, Dumnezeul tău.

18 ¶ Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all the gates of thy cities, which the LORD thy God shall give thee throughout thy tribes, and they shall judge the people with just (and righteous) judgment.

Să pui judecători şi dregători în toate cetăţile pe cari ţi le dă Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, după seminţiile tale; şi ei să judece poporul cu dreptate.

19 T hou shalt not twist that which is right; thou shalt not respect persons neither take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

Să n'atingi niciun drept, să nu cauţi la faţa oamenilor, şi să nu iei daruri, căci darurile orbesc ochii înţelepţilor şi sucesc cuvintele celor drepţi.

20 T hou shalt follow justice and righteousness, that thou may live and inherit the land which the LORD thy God gives thee.

Să urmezi cu scumpătate dreptatea, ca să trăieşti şi să stăpîneşti ţara pe care ţi -o dă Domnul, Dumnezeul tău.

21 T hou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

Să nu-ţi aşezi niciun idol de lemn lîngă altarul pe care -l vei ridica Domnului, Dumnezeului tău.

22 N either shalt thou set thee up any image, which the LORD thy God hates.

Să nu ridici nici stîlpi idoleşti, cari sînt urîţi de Domnul, Dumnezeul tău.
