1 ¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye slaves of the LORD.

Lăudaţi pe Domnul! Lăudaţi Numele Domnului, lăudaţi -L, robi ai Domnului,

2 Y e that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

cari staţi în Casa Domnului, în curţile Casei Dumnezeului nostru!

3 p raise JAH; for the LORD is good; sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

Lăudaţi pe Domnul, căci Domnul este bun; cîntaţi Numele Lui, căci este binevoitor.

4 F or JAH has chosen Jacob unto himself and Israel for his own possession.

Căci Domnul Şi -a ales pe Iacov, pe Israel, ca să fie al Lui.

5 ¶ For I know that the LORD is great and that our Lord is above all gods.

Ştiu că Domnul este mare, şi că Domnul nostru este mai pe sus de toţi dumnezeii.

6 W hatever the LORD desired, he did in the heavens and in the earth, in the seas and in all the deep places.

Domnul face tot ce vrea în ceruri şi pe pămînt, în mări şi în toate adîncurile.

7 H e who causes the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth, made the lightnings in the rain; he who brings the winds out of his treasuries.

El ridică norii dela marginile pămîntului, dă naştere la fulgere şi ploaie, şi scoate vîntul din cămările lui.

8 H e who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast;

El a lovit pe întîii născuţi ai Egiptului, dela oameni pînă la dobitoace.

9 s ent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his slaves.

A trimes semne şi minuni, în mijlocul tău, Egiptule: împotrivalui Faraon şi împotriva tuturor slujitorilor lui.

10 H e who smote many Gentiles and slew mighty kings,

A lovit multe neamuri, şi a ucis împăraţi puternici:

11 S ihon king of the Amorites and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan

pe Sihon, împăratul Amoriţilor, pe Og, împăratul Basanului, şi pe toţi împăraţii Canaanului;

12 g ave their land for a heritage, a heritage unto Israel his people.

şi le -a dat ţara de moştenire, de moştenire poporului Său Israel.

13 T hy name, O LORD, is eternal, and thy memorial, O LORD, from generation to generation.

Doamne, Numele Tău rămîne pe vecie; Doamne, pomenirea Ta ţine din neam în neam,

14 F or the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his slaves.

căci Domnul va judeca pe poporul Său, şi va avea milă de robii Săi.

15 ¶ The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

Idolii neamurilor sînt argint şi aur, lucrare făcută de mînile oamenilor.

16 T hey have a mouth, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see;

Au gură, şi nu vorbesc, au ochi, şi nu văd,

17 t hey have ears, but they do not hear; neither is there any spirit in their mouths.

au urechi, şi totuş n'aud, da, n'au suflare în gură.

18 L et those that make them become like unto them and every one that trusts in them.

Ca ei sînt cei ce -i fac, toţi cei ce se încred în ei.

19 B less the LORD, O house of Israel; bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

Casa lui Israel, binecuvîntaţi pe Domnul! Casa lui Aaron, binecuvîntaţi pe Domnul!

20 B less the LORD, O house of Levi; ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

Casa lui Levi, binecuvîntaţi pe Domnul! Cei ce vă temeţi de Domnul, binecuvîntaţi pe Domnul!

21 B lessed be the LORD out of Zion who dwells at Jerusalem. Halelu-JAH.

Domnul să fie binecuvîntat din Sion, El, care locuieşte în Ierusalim! Lăudaţi pe Domnul!
