1 ¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye slaves of the LORD.

¡Aleluya! Alabad el nombre del Señor; Alabad le, siervos del Señor,

2 Y e that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

los que estáis en la casa del Señor, en los atrios de la casa de nuestro Dios.

3 p raise JAH; for the LORD is good; sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

¡Aleluya!, porque el Señor es bueno; cantad alabanzas a su nombre, porque es agradable.

4 F or JAH has chosen Jacob unto himself and Israel for his own possession.

Porque el Señor ha escogido a Jacob para sí, a Israel para posesión suya.

5 ¶ For I know that the LORD is great and that our Lord is above all gods.

Porque yo sé que el Señor es grande, y que nuestro Señor está sobre todos los dioses.

6 W hatever the LORD desired, he did in the heavens and in the earth, in the seas and in all the deep places.

Todo cuanto el Señor quiere, lo hace, en los cielos y en la tierra, en los mares y en todos los abismos.

7 H e who causes the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth, made the lightnings in the rain; he who brings the winds out of his treasuries.

El hace subir las nubes desde los extremos de la tierra, hace los relámpagos para la lluvia y saca el viento de sus depósitos.

8 H e who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast;

Hirió a los primogénitos de Egipto, tanto de hombre como de animal.

9 s ent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his slaves.

Envió señales y prodigios en medio de ti, oh Egipto, sobre Faraón y todos sus siervos.

10 H e who smote many Gentiles and slew mighty kings,

Hirió a muchas naciones y mató a reyes poderosos;

11 S ihon king of the Amorites and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan

a Sehón, rey de los amorreos, a Og, rey de Basán, y a todos los reinos de Canaán;

12 g ave their land for a heritage, a heritage unto Israel his people.

y dio sus tierras en herencia, en herencia a Israel su pueblo.

13 T hy name, O LORD, is eternal, and thy memorial, O LORD, from generation to generation.

Tu nombre, Señor, es eterno; tu memoria, Señor, por todas las generaciones.

14 F or the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his slaves.

Porque el Señor juzgará a su pueblo, y tendrá compasión de sus siervos.

15 ¶ The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

Los ídolos de las naciones son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombre.

16 T hey have a mouth, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see;

Tienen boca, y no hablan; tienen ojos, y no ven;

17 t hey have ears, but they do not hear; neither is there any spirit in their mouths.

tienen oídos, y no oyen; tampoco hay aliento en su boca.

18 L et those that make them become like unto them and every one that trusts in them.

Los que los hacen serán semejantes a ellos, sí, todos los que en ellos confían.

19 B less the LORD, O house of Israel; bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

Oh casa de Israel, bendecid al Señor; oh casa de Aarón, bendecid al Señor;

20 B less the LORD, O house of Levi; ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

oh casa de Leví, bendecid al Señor; los que teméis al Señor, bendecid al Señor.

21 B lessed be the LORD out of Zion who dwells at Jerusalem. Halelu-JAH.

Bendito desde Sion sea el Señor, quien mora en Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya!
