1 ¶ Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; let those that hate him flee before him.

Levántese Dios; sean esparcidos sus enemigos, y huyan delante de El los que le aborrecen.

2 A s smoke is driven away; so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so shall the wicked perish at the presence of God.

Como se disipa el humo, disípa los; como la cera se derrite delante del fuego, así perezcan los impíos delante de Dios.

3 B ut the righteous shall be glad; they shall rejoice before God; they shall dance with joy.

Pero alégrense los justos, regocíjense delante de Dios; sí, que rebosen de alegría.

4 S ing unto God, sing psalms unto his name; extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name JAH and rejoice before him.

Cantad a Dios, cantad alabanzas a su nombre; abrid paso al que cabalga por los desiertos, cuyo nombre es el Señor; regocijaos delante de El.

5 A father of the fatherless and a defender of the widows is God in his holy habitation.

Padre de los huérfanos y defensor de las viudas es Dios en su santa morada.

6 G od sets the solitary in families; he brings out those who are bound with chains, but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Dios prepara un hogar para los solitarios; conduce a los cautivos a prosperidad; sólo los rebeldes habitan en una tierra seca.

7 ¶ O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

Oh Dios, cuando saliste al frente de tu pueblo, cuando marchaste por el desierto, (Selah )

8 T he earth shook, the heavens also dropped their rain at the presence of God; even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

tembló la tierra; también se derramaron los cielos ante la presencia de Dios; el Sinaí mismo tembló delante de Dios, el Dios de Israel.

9 T hou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, by which thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

Tú esparciste lluvia abundante, oh Dios, tú fortaleciste tu heredad cuando estaba extenuada.

10 T hy presence was in thy congregation; thou, O God, by thy goodness thou hast provided for the poor.

Los de tu pueblo se establecieron en ella; en tu bondad, oh Dios, proveíste para el pobre.

11 T he Lord shall give a word; great shall be the host of the evangelists thereof.

El Señor da la palabra; las mujeres que anuncian las buenas nuevas son gran multitud:

12 K ings of armies fled apace, and she that dwells in the house divided the spoil.

Los reyes de los ejércitos huyen; sí huyen, y la que se queda en casa repartirá el botín.

13 T hough ye be cast among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver and her feathers with yellow gold.

Cuando os acostáis en los apriscos, sois como alas de paloma cubiertas de plata, y sus plumas de oro resplandeciente.

14 W hen the Almighty scattered the kings that were in her, she became white as the snow in Salmon.

Cuando el Omnipotente dispersó allí a los reyes, nevaba en el monte Salmón.

15 ¶ The mountain of Bashan is the mountain of God; the mountain of Bashan is a high mountain.

Monte de Dios es el monte de Basán; monte de muchos picos es el monte de Basán.

16 W hy leap ye, ye high mountains? This is the mountain which God desires to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

¿Por qué miráis con envidia, oh montes de muchos picos, al monte que Dios ha deseado para morada suya ? Ciertamente el Señor habitará allí para siempre.

17 T he chariots of God are two thousand, thousands of angels; the Lord is among them as in Sinai, in the sanctuary.

Los carros de Dios son miríadas, millares y millares; el Señor está entre ellos en santidad, como en el Sinaí.

18 T hou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive; thou hast received gifts for men, yea, for the rebellious also that the LORD God might dwell among them.

Tú has ascendido a lo alto, has llevado en cautividad a tus cautivos; has recibido dones entre los hombres, y aun entre los rebeldes, para que el Señor Dios habite entre ellos.

19 B lessed be the Lord, who daily lades us with benefits, even the God of our saving health. Selah.

Bendito sea el Señor, que cada día lleva nuestra carga, el Dios que es nuestra salvación. (Selah)

20 H e that is our God is the God of salvation, and unto GOD the Lord belongs the way of escape from death.

Dios es para nosotros un Dios de salvación, y a Dios el Señor pertenece el librar de la muerte.

21 S urely God shall smite the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such a one as goes on still in his trespasses.

Ciertamente Dios herirá la cabeza de sus enemigos, la testa cabelluda del que anda en sus delitos.

22 ¶ The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

Dijo el Señor: De Basán los haré volver; los haré volver de las profundidades del mar;

23 T hy foot shall be dipped in the blood of thine enemies and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

para que tu pie los aplaste en sangre, y la lengua de tus perros tenga la porción de tus enemigos.

24 T hey have seen thy ways, O God, even the ways of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

Ellos han visto tu procesión, oh Dios, la procesión de mi Dios, mi Rey, hacia el santuario.

25 T he singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; in between them were the virgins playing with timbrels.

Los cantores iban delante, los músicos detrás, en medio de las doncellas tocando panderos.

26 B less ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, ye of the lineage of Israel.

Bendecid a Dios en las congregaciones, al Señor, vosotros del linaje de Israel.

27 T here was little Benjamin as their ruler, the princes of Judah in their congregation, the princes of Zebulun and the princes of Naphtali.

Allí va Benjamín, el más joven, dirigiéndolos, los príncipes de Judá con su grupo, los príncipes de Zabulón, los príncipes de Neftalí.

28 T hy God has commanded thy strength; confirm, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

El Dios tuyo ha mandado tu fuerza; muestra tu poder, oh Dios, tú que has obrado por nosotros.

29 F rom thy temple in Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

Por causa de tu templo en Jerusalén te traerán presentes los reyes.

30 R eprehend the company of spearmen, the multitude of the strong, with the lords of the peoples, trampling them underfoot with their pieces of silver; Destroy thou the peoples that delight in war.

Reprende las fieras de las cañas, la manada de toros con los becerros de los pueblos, pisoteando las piezas de plata; El ha dispersado a los pueblos que se deleitan en la guerra.

31 P rinces shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

De Egipto saldrán mensajeros; Etiopía se apresurará a extender sus manos hacia Dios.

32 ¶ Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord Selah:

Cantad a Dios, oh reinos de la tierra; cantad alabanzas al Señor. (Selah)

33 T o him that rides upon the heavens of the heavens which were of old; behold, he shall send forth his voice, his mighty voice.

Cantad al que cabalga sobre los cielos de los cielos, que son desde la antigüedad; he aquí, El da su voz, voz poderosa.

34 A scribe ye strength unto God; his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

Atribuid a Dios fortaleza; su majestad es sobre Israel, y su poder está en los cielos.

35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy sanctuaries; the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

Imponente eres, oh Dios, desde tu santuario. El Dios mismo de Israel da fortaleza y poder al pueblo. ¡Bendito sea Dios!
