1 ¶ And I saw when the Lamb had opened the first seal, and I heard the first of the four animals, saying as with a voice of thunder, Come and see.

Vi cuando el Cordero abrió uno de los siete sellos, y oí a uno de los cuatro seres vivientes que decía, como con voz de trueno: Ven.

2 A nd I saw and, behold, a white horse; and he that was seated upon him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth victorious, that he might also overcome.

Miré, y he aquí, un caballo blanco; y el que estaba montado en él tenía un arco; se le dio una corona, y salió conquistando y para conquistar.

3 ¶ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second animal, which said, Come and see.

Cuando abrió el segundo sello, oí al segundo ser viviente que decía: Ven.

4 A nd another horse went forth that was red, and unto him that was seated thereon was given power to take away the peace of the earth and that they should kill one another; and there was given unto him a great sword.

Entonces salió otro caballo, rojo; y al que estaba montado en él se le concedió quitar la paz de la tierra y que los hombres se mataran unos a otros; y se le dio una gran espada.

5 A nd when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third animal, which said, Come and see. And I saw and, behold, a black horse, and he that was seated upon him had a yoke in his hand.

Cuando abrió el tercer sello, oí al tercer ser viviente que decía: Ven. Y miré, y he aquí, un caballo negro; y el que estaba montado en él tenía una balanza en la mano.

6 A nd I heard a voice in the midst of the four animals, which said, A choenix of wheat for a denarius and three choenix of barley for a denarius; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Y oí como una voz en medio de los cuatro seres vivientes que decía: Un litro de trigo por un denario, y tres litros de cebada por un denario, y no dañes el aceite y el vino.

7 A nd when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth animal, which said, Come and see.

Cuando abrió el cuarto sello, oí la voz del cuarto ser viviente que decía: Ven.

8 A nd I looked and, behold, a green horse, and he that was seated upon him was named Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given unto him over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger and with death and with the beasts of the earth.

Y miré, y he aquí, un caballo amarillento; y el que estaba montado en él se llamaba Muerte; y el Hades lo seguía. Y se les dio autoridad sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra, para matar con espada, con hambre, con pestilencia y con las fieras de la tierra. El quinto sello

9 ¶ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those that had been slain because of the word of God and for the testimony which they held:

Cuando el Cordero abrió el quinto sello, vi debajo del altar las almas de los que habían sido muertos a causa de la palabra de Dios y del testimonio que habían mantenido;

10 A nd they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell in the earth?

y clamaban a gran voz, diciendo: ¿Hasta cuándo, oh Señor santo y verdadero, esperarás para juzgar y vengar nuestra sangre de los que moran en la tierra ?

11 A nd white robes were given unto each one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little while until their fellow servants and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Y se les dio a cada uno una vestidura blanca; y se les dijo que descansaran un poco más de tiempo, hasta que se completara también el número de sus consiervos y de sus hermanos que habrían de ser muertos como ellos lo habían sido. El sexto sello

12 A nd I saw when he had opened the sixth seal, and, behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Vi cuando el Cordero abrió el sexto sello, y hubo un gran terremoto, y el sol se puso negro como cilicio hecho de cerda, y toda la luna se volvió como sangre,

13 a nd the stars of heaven fell upon the earth, even as a fig tree casts her figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

y las estrellas del cielo cayeron a la tierra, como la higuera deja caer sus higos verdes al ser sacudida por un fuerte viento.

14 A nd the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Y el cielo desapareció como un pergamino que se enrolla, y todo monte e isla fueron removidos de su lugar.

15 A nd the kings of the earth and the princes and the rich and the captains and the strong and every slave and every free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains

Y los reyes de la tierra, y los grandes, los comandantes, los ricos, los poderosos, y todo siervo y todo libre, se escondieron en las cuevas y entre las peñas de los montes;

16 a nd said to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of him that is seated upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb;

y decían a los montes y a las peñas: Caed sobre nosotros y escondednos de la presencia del que está sentado en el trono y de la ira del Cordero,

17 f or the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand before him?

porque ha llegado el gran día de la ira de ellos, ¿y quién podrá sostenerse ?
