1 ¶ Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come into thee.

Despierta, despierta, vístete de tu poder, oh Sion; vístete de tus ropajes hermosos, oh Jerusalén, ciudad santa. Porque el incircunciso y el inmundo no volverán a entrar en ti.

2 S hake thyself from the dust; arise and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Sal del polvo, levántate, cautiva Jerusalén; líbrate de las cadenas de tu cuello, cautiva hija de Sion.

3 F or thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nothing; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

Porque así dice el Señor: De balde fuisteis vendidos y sin dinero seréis redimidos.

4 F or thus has the Lord GOD said, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian captured them without cause.

Porque así dice el Señor Dios: Mi pueblo descendió a Egipto al principio para residir allí; después los asirios sin motivo los oprimieron.

5 N ow therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nothing? And those among my people that take rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name is continually blasphemed every day.

Y ahora, ¿qué hago yo aquí —declara el Señor — viendo que se llevan a mi pueblo sin causa? También declara el Señor: Sus dominadores dan gritos, y sin cesar mi nombre es blasfemado todo el día.

6 T herefore my people shall know my name for this reason in that day: for even I that speak, behold, I shall be present.

Por tanto, mi pueblo conocerá mi nombre; así que en aquel día comprenderán que yo soy el que dice: “Heme aquí.”

7 ¶ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace, that brings good tidings of good, that publishes saving health, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigns!

¡Qué hermosos son sobre los montes los pies del que trae buenas nuevas, del que anuncia la paz, del que trae las buenas nuevas de gozo, del que anuncia la salvación, y dice a Sion: Tu Dios reina!

8 T he voice of thy watchmen! They shall lift up the voice; together they shall rejoice: for they shall see eye to eye, how the LORD shall return to bring again Zion.

¡Una voz! Tus centinelas alzan la voz, a una gritan de júbilo porque verán con sus propios ojos cuando el Señor restaure a Sion.

9 S ing praises, rejoice together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.

Prorrumpid a una en gritos de júbilo, lugares desolados de Jerusalén, porque el Señor ha consolado a su pueblo, ha redimido a Jerusalén.

10 T he LORD has made bare the arm of his holiness before the eyes of all the Gentiles; and all the ends of the earth shall see the saving health of our God.

El Señor ha desnudado su santo brazo a la vista de todas las naciones, y todos los confines de la tierra verán la salvación de nuestro Dios.

11 D epart ye, depart ye, go ye out from there, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

Apartaos, apartaos, salid de allí, nada inmundo toquéis; salid de en medio de ella, purificaos, vosotros que lleváis las vasijas del Señor.

12 F or ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will gather you together.

Pues no saldréis precipitadamente, ni iréis como fugitivos; porque delante de vosotros irá el Señor, y vuestra retaguardia será el Dios de Israel. Sufrimiento y gloria del siervo del Señor

13 ¶ Behold, my slave shall be prospered; he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

He aquí, mi siervo prosperará, será enaltecido, levantado y en gran manera exaltado.

14 A s many rejected thee, in such manner was his likeness and his beauty, disfigured from the sons of men:

De la manera que muchos se asombraron de ti, pueblo mío, así fue desfigurada su apariencia más que la de cualquier hombre, y su aspecto más que el de los hijos de los hombres.

15 B ut he shall sprinkle many Gentiles; the kings shall shut their mouths over him: for that which had not been told them they shall see; and that which they had not heard they shall understand.

Ciertamente El asombrará a muchas naciones, los reyes cerrarán la boca ante El; porque lo que no les habían contado verán, y lo que no habían oído entenderán.
