1 ¶ Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now thou shalt see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand he must let them go, and with a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.

Respondió el Señor a Moisés: Ahora verás lo que haré a Faraón; porque por la fuerza los dejará ir; y por la fuerza los echará de su tierra.

2 A nd God spoke unto Moses and said unto him, I am the LORD;

Continuó hablando Dios a Moisés, y le dijo: Yo soy el Señor;

3 a nd I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD (YHWH) I was not known to them.

y me aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Todopoderoso, mas por mi nombre, Señor, no me di a conocer a ellos.

4 A nd I also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers.

También establecí mi pacto con ellos, de darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra donde peregrinaron.

5 A nd likewise I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.

Y además, he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, porque los egipcios los tienen esclavizados, y me he acordado de mi pacto.

6 T herefore say unto the sons of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will free you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm and with great judgments.

Por tanto, di a los hijos de Israel: “Yo soy el Señor, y os sacaré de debajo de las cargas de los egipcios, y os libraré de su esclavitud, y os redimiré con brazo extendido y con juicios grandes.

7 A nd I will take you as my people, and I will be your God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

“Y os tomaré por pueblo mío, y yo seré vuestro Dios; y sabréis que yo soy el Señor vuestro Dios, que os sacó de debajo de las cargas de los egipcios.

8 A nd I will bring you in unto the land, concerning which I raised my hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it unto you for a heritage: I am the LORD.

“Y os traeré a la tierra que juré dar a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob, y os la daré por heredad. Yo soy el Señor.”

9 I n this manner Moses spoke unto the sons of Israel, but they did not hearken unto Moses because of their anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.

De esta manera habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel, pero ellos no escucharon a Moisés a causa del desaliento y de la dura servidumbre.

10 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Entonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

11 G o in, speak unto Pharaoh, king of Egypt, that he let the sons of Israel go out of his land.

Ve, habla a Faraón, rey de Egipto, para que deje salir a los hijos de Israel de su tierra.

12 A nd Moses answered before the LORD, saying, Behold, the sons of Israel do not hearken unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, seeing I am of uncircumcised lips?

Pero Moisés habló delante del Señor, diciendo: He aquí, los hijos de Israel no me han escuchado; ¿cómo, pues, me escuchará Faraón, siendo yo torpe de palabra ?

13 T hen the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron and gave them a commandment unto the sons of Israel and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

Entonces el Señor habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes para los hijos de Israel y para Faraón, rey de Egipto, a fin de sacar a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto. Genealogía de Moisés y de Aarón

14 ¶ These are the heads of their fathers’ families: The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Enoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.

Estos son los jefes de las casas paternas. Los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmi. Estas son las familias de Rubén.

15 A nd the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Saul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.

Y los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zohar y Saúl, hijo de una cananea. Estas son las familias de Simeón.

16 A nd these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their lineages: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were one hundred thirty-seven years.

Y estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví según sus generaciones: Gersón, Coat y Merari. Y los años de la vida de Leví fueron ciento treinta y siete años.

17 T he sons of Gershon: Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.

Los hijos de Gersón: Libni y Simei, según sus familias.

18 A nd the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.

Y los hijos de Coat: Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel. Y los años de la vida de Coat fueron ciento treinta y tres años.

19 A nd the sons of Merari: Mahali and Mushi; these are the families of Levi according to their lineages.

Y los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi. Estas son las familias de los levitas según sus generaciones.

20 A nd Amram took Jochebed, his father’s sister to wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were one hundred thirty-seven years.

Y Amram tomó por mujer a Jocabed, su tía, y ella le dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés; y los años de la vida de Amram fueron ciento treinta y siete años.

21 A nd the sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.

Y los hijos de Izhar: Coré, Nefeg y Zicri.

22 A nd the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Zithri.

Y los hijos de Uziel: Misael, Elzafán y Sitri.

23 A nd Aaron took Elizabeth, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Y Aarón tomó por mujer a Eliseba, hija de Aminadab, hermana de Naasón, y ella le dio a luz a Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

24 A nd the sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korhites.

Y los hijos de Coré: Asir, Elcana y Abiasaf. Estas son las familias de los coreítas.

25 A nd Eleazar, Aaron’s son, took one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

Y Eleazar, hijo de Aarón, tomó por mujer a una de las hijas de Futiel, y ella le dio a luz a Finees. Estos son los jefes de las casas paternas de los levitas, según sus familias.

26 T hese are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.

Estos son Aarón y Moisés a quienes dijo el Señor: Sacad a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos.

27 T hese are those who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.

Ellos fueron los que hablaron a Faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar a los hijos de Israel de Egipto, esto es, Moisés y Aarón. Anuncio de las plagas

28 A nd it came to pass on the day when the LORD spoke unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

Y sucedió que el día que el Señor habló a Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,

29 t hat the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD; speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.

el Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo: Yo soy el Señor; di a Faraón, rey de Egipto, todo lo que yo te diga.

30 A nd Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

Pero Moisés dijo delante del Señor: He aquí, yo soy torpe de palabra, ¿cómo, pues, me escuchará Faraón ?
