1 ¶ Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now thou shalt see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand he must let them go, and with a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.

Jehová respondió a Moisés: —Ahora verás lo que yo haré al faraón, porque con mano fuerte los dejará ir, y con mano fuerte los echará de su tierra.

2 A nd God spoke unto Moses and said unto him, I am the LORD;

Habló Dios a Moisés y le dijo: —Yo soy Jehová.

3 a nd I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD (YHWH) I was not known to them.

Yo me aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Omnipotente, pero con mi nombre Jehová no me di a conocer a ellos.

4 A nd I also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers.

También establecí mi pacto con ellos, para darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra en que fueron forasteros y en la cual habitaron.

5 A nd likewise I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.

Asimismo yo he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, a quienes hacen servir los egipcios, y me he acordado de mi pacto.

6 T herefore say unto the sons of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will free you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm and with great judgments.

Por tanto, dirás a los hijos de Israel: “Yo soy Jehová. Yo os sacaré de debajo de las pesadas tareas de Egipto, os libraré de su servidumbre y os redimiré con brazo extendido y con gran justicia.

7 A nd I will take you as my people, and I will be your God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

Os tomaré como mi pueblo y seré vuestro Dios. Así sabréis que yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios, que os sacó de debajo de las pesadas tareas de Egipto.

8 A nd I will bring you in unto the land, concerning which I raised my hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it unto you for a heritage: I am the LORD.

Os meteré en la tierra por la cual alcé mi mano jurando que la daría a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob. Yo os la daré por heredad. Yo soy Jehová.”

9 I n this manner Moses spoke unto the sons of Israel, but they did not hearken unto Moses because of their anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.

De esta manera habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel; pero ellos no escuchaban a Moisés, debido al desaliento que los embargaba a causa de la dura servidumbre.

10 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés:

11 G o in, speak unto Pharaoh, king of Egypt, that he let the sons of Israel go out of his land.

—Entra y dile al faraón, rey de Egipto, que deje ir de su tierra a los hijos de Israel.

12 A nd Moses answered before the LORD, saying, Behold, the sons of Israel do not hearken unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, seeing I am of uncircumcised lips?

Moisés respondió ante Jehová: —Los hijos de Israel no me escuchan, ¿cómo me escuchará el faraón, a mí, que soy torpe de labios?

13 T hen the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron and gave them a commandment unto the sons of Israel and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

Entonces Jehová habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes para los hijos de Israel y para el faraón, rey de Egipto, a fin de que sacaran a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto.

14 ¶ These are the heads of their fathers’ families: The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Enoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.

Éstos son los jefes de las casas paternas: Hijos de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmi. Éstas son las familias de Rubén.

15 A nd the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Saul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.

Hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zohar y Saúl, hijo de una cananea. Éstas son las familias de Simeón.

16 A nd these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their lineages: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were one hundred thirty-seven years.

Éstos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví por sus generaciones: Gersón, Coat y Merari. Leví vivió ciento treinta y siete años.

17 T he sons of Gershon: Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.

Hijos de Gersón fueron: Libni y Simei, por sus familias.

18 A nd the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.

Hijos de Coat: Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel. Coat vivió ciento treinta y tres años.

19 A nd the sons of Merari: Mahali and Mushi; these are the families of Levi according to their lineages.

Hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi. Éstas son las familias de Leví por sus generaciones.

20 A nd Amram took Jochebed, his father’s sister to wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were one hundred thirty-seven years.

Amram tomó por mujer a Jocabed, su tía, la cual dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés. Amram vivió ciento treinta y siete años.

21 A nd the sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.

Hijos de Izhar: Coré, Nefeg y Zicri.

22 A nd the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Zithri.

Hijos de Uziel: Misael, Elzafán y Sitri.

23 A nd Aaron took Elizabeth, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Tomó Aarón por mujer a Elisabet, hija de Aminadab, hermana de Naasón, la cual dio a luz a Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

24 A nd the sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korhites.

Hijos de Coré: Asir, Elcana y Abiasaf. Éstas son las familias de los coreítas.

25 A nd Eleazar, Aaron’s son, took one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

Eleazar hijo de Aarón tomó para sí mujer de las hijas de Futiel, la cual dio a luz a Finees. Éstos son los jefes de los padres de los levitas por sus familias.

26 T hese are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.

Éstos son aquel Aarón y aquel Moisés, a los cuales Jehová dijo: «Sacad a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por grupos.»

27 T hese are those who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.

Éstos fueron los que hablaron al faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel. Fueron Moisés y Aarón.

28 A nd it came to pass on the day when the LORD spoke unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

Cuando Jehová habló a Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,

29 t hat the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD; speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.

le dijo: —Yo soy Jehová; di al faraón, rey de Egipto, todas las cosas que yo te digo a ti.

30 A nd Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

Moisés respondió ante Jehová: —Yo soy torpe de labios; ¿cómo, pues, me ha de oír el faraón?
