1 ¶ I saw the Lord standing upon the altar, and he said, Smite the threshold and shake the doors and cut the head of them all into pieces; and I will slay the last of them with the sword; there shall be none of them left to flee away or to escape.

Vi al Señor, que estaba sobre el altar y dijo: «Derriba el capitel y estremézcanse las puertas, y hazlos pedazos sobre la cabeza de todos. Al postrero de ellos mataré a espada; no habrá de ellos quien huya ni quien escape.

2 T hough they dig unto Sheol, from there shall my hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, from there I will bring them down;

Aunque caven hasta el seol, de allá los tomará mi mano; y aunque suban hasta el cielo, de allá los haré descender.

3 a nd though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out of there; and though they hide from my sight in the bottom of the sea, from there will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:

Si se esconden en la cumbre del Carmelo, allí los buscaré y los tomaré; y aunque de delante de mis ojos se escondan en lo profundo del mar, allí mandaré a la serpiente y los morderá.

4 a nd though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set my eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

Y si van en cautiverio delante de sus enemigos, allí mandaré la espada y los matará; y pondré sobre ellos mis ojos para mal y no para bien.

5 T he Lord GOD of the hosts is he that touches the earth, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall all rise up like a river and shall be sunk, as the river of Egypt.

»El Señor, Jehová de los ejércitos, toca la tierra y ésta se derrite, y lloran todos los que en ella moran; crecerá toda ella como un río y mermará luego como el río de Egipto.

6 H e that built his degrees in the heaven and has founded his gathering upon the earth; he that calls the waters of the sea and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.

Él edificó en el cielo su habitación y ha establecido su expansión sobre la tierra; él llama a las aguas del mar y sobre la faz de la tierra las derrama: Jehová es su nombre.

7 O sons of Israel, Are ye not as sons of the Ethiopians unto me, said the LORD? Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Palestinians from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

»Hijos de Israel, ¿no me sois vosotros como hijos de etíopes?, dice Jehová. ¿No hice yo subir a Israel de la tierra de Egipto, de Caftor a los filisteos, y de Kir a los arameos?

8 B ehold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are against the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, said the LORD.

»Ciertamente, los ojos de Jehová, el Señor, están contra el reino pecador y yo lo borraré de la faz de la tierra: mas no destruiré del todo la casa de Jacob, dice Jehová.

9 F or, behold, I will command, and I will cause the house of Israel to be sifted among all the Gentiles like as the grain is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall to the earth.

Porque, yo mandaré que la casa de Israel sea zarandeada entre todas las naciones, como se zarandea el grano en una criba sin que caiga un granito en la tierra.

10 A ll the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, For our sake the evil shall not come near nor overtake us.

A espada morirán todos los pecadores de mi pueblo, que dicen: “No se acercará ni nos alcanzará el mal.”»

11 ¶ In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen and close up its breaches; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

En aquel día yo levantaré el tabernáculo caído de David: cerraré sus portillos, levantaré sus ruinas y lo edificaré como en el tiempo pasado,

12 t hat those who are called by my name may possess the remnant of Edom and all the Gentiles, said the LORD that does this.

para que aquellos sobre los cuales es invocado mi nombre posean el resto de Edom y todas las naciones, dice Jehová, que hace esto.

13 B ehold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall catch up with the reaper, and the treader of grapes with him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop new wine, and all the hills shall melt.

Ciertamente vienen días, dice Jehová, cuando el que ara alcanzará al segador, y el que pisa las uvas al que lleve la simiente; los montes destilarán mosto y todos los collados se derretirán.

14 A nd I will turn the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them.

Traeré del cautiverio a mi pueblo Israel: ellos edificarán las ciudades asoladas y las habitarán; plantarán viñas y beberán de su vino, y harán huertos y comerán de su fruto.

15 F or I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, said the LORD thy God.

Pues los plantaré sobre su tierra y nunca más serán arrancados de la tierra que yo les di, ha dicho Jehová, tu Dios.
