1 ¶ In the same manner thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon; of cedar wood shalt thou make it.

»Harás asimismo un altar para quemar el incienso; de madera de acacia lo harás.

2 I ts length shall be a cubit and its width a cubit; it shall be square and its height two cubits; its horns shall be of the same.

Su longitud será de un codo y su anchura de un codo; será cuadrado, y su altura de dos codos; sus cuernos serán parte del mismo.

3 A nd thou shalt cover it with pure gold, its top and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou shalt make unto it a moulding of gold round about.

Lo recubrirás de oro puro, su cubierta, sus costados y sus cuernos. Le harás una cornisa de oro alrededor.

4 A nd two golden rings shalt thou make to it under its moulding by its two corners on both sides for places for the staves to bear it with.

Le harás también dos argollas de oro debajo de la cornisa, a sus dos esquinas y a ambos lados, para meter las varas con que será llevado.

5 A nd thou shalt make the staves of cedar wood and cover them with gold.

Harás las varas de madera de acacia y las recubrirás de oro.

6 A nd thou shalt put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the seat of reconciliation that is over the testimony, where I will testify unto thee of myself.

Después lo pondrás delante del velo que está junto al Arca del testimonio, delante del propiciatorio que está sobre el Testimonio, donde me encontraré contigo.

7 A nd Aaron shall burn sweet incense thereon every morning; when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn it.

Cada mañana, al preparar las lámparas, Aarón quemará incienso aromático sobre él.

8 A nd when Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn incense upon it continually before the LORD throughout your ages.

Cuando Aarón encienda las lámparas al anochecer, quemará también el incienso; y será rito perpetuo delante de Jehová para vuestras generaciones.

9 Y e shall offer no strange incense thereon nor burnt sacrifice nor present; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.

No ofreceréis sobre él incienso extraño ni holocausto ni ofrenda, ni tampoco derramaréis sobre él libación.

10 A nd Aaron shall make reconciliation upon the horns of it once a year with the blood of the reconciliation for sin; once a year shall he make reconciliation upon it throughout your ages; it shall be most holy unto the LORD.

Aarón hará expiación una vez al año sobre los cuernos del altar con la sangre del sacrificio, como expiación por el pecado; una vez al año hará expiación sobre él en vuestras sucesivas generaciones. Muy santo será a Jehová.» El dinero del rescate

11 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Habló también Jehová a Moisés y le dijo:

12 W hen thou takest the number of the sons of Israel after the sum of them, each one shall give a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou dost number them, that there be no mortality in them because of numbering them.

«Cuando hagas un censo de los hijos de Israel conforme a su número, cada uno dará a Jehová el rescate de su persona al ser empadronado, para que no haya entre ellos mortandad a causa del censo.

13 T his shall be given by every one that passes among those that are numbered: half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is twenty gerahs); a half shekel shall be the offering to the LORD.

Esto dará todo aquel que sea censado: medio siclo, conforme al siclo del santuario. El siclo es de veinte geras. La mitad de un siclo será la ofrenda reservada a Jehová.

14 A nyone that passes among those that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give the offering unto the LORD.

Todo el que sea censado, de veinte años para arriba, dará la ofrenda a Jehová.

15 T he rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give the offering unto the LORD to make reconciliation for your souls.

Ni el rico dará más ni el pobre dará menos del medio siclo, cuando den la ofrenda a Jehová para hacer expiación por vuestras personas.

16 A nd thou shalt take the reconciliation money of the sons of Israel and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the testimony, and it shall be a memorial unto the sons of Israel before the LORD to reconcile your souls.

Tomarás de los hijos de Israel el dinero de las expiaciones y lo darás para el servicio del Tabernáculo de reunión; y será como un memorial para los hijos de Israel delante de Jehová, para hacer expiación por vuestras personas.» La fuente de bronce

17 ¶ And the LORD spoke further unto Moses, saying,

Continuó hablando Jehová a Moisés, y le dijo:

18 T hou shalt also make a laver of brass, and its base also of brass, to wash with; and thou shalt place it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, and thou shalt put water in it.

«Harás también una fuente de bronce, con su base de bronce, para lavarse. La colocarás entre el Tabernáculo de reunión y el altar, y pondrás en ella agua.

19 A nd from it Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.

En ella se lavarán Aarón y sus hijos las manos y los pies.

20 W hen they go into the tabernacle of the testimony, they shall wash with water that they not die, or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn the offering unto the LORD that must be consumed by fire,

Cuando entren en el Tabernáculo de reunión, se lavarán con agua, para que no mueran, y cuando se acerquen al altar para ministrar y presentar la ofrenda quemada para Jehová,

21 t hey shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die. And he and his seed shall have it as a perpetual statute throughout their generations.

se lavarán las manos y los pies, para que no mueran. Y lo tendrán por estatuto perpetuo él y su descendencia a través de las generaciones.» El aceite y el incienso sagrados

22 ¶ The LORD spoke further unto Moses, saying,

Continuó hablando Jehová a Moisés, y le dijo:

23 T hou must take unto thee of the principal spices: of excellent myrrh five hundred shekels and of aromatic cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of aromatic calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

«Tomarás especias finas: de mirra excelente, quinientos siclos, y de canela aromática, la mitad, esto es, doscientos cincuenta; de cálamo aromático, doscientos cincuenta;

24 a nd of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive one hin;

de casia, quinientos, según el siclo del santuario, y de aceite de olivas, un hin.

25 a nd thou shalt make of it the oil of the holy anointing, a superior ointment, after the art of the apothecary, which shall be the oil of the holy anointing.

Prepararás con ello el aceite de la santa unción, un ungüento superior, preparado según el arte del perfumista. Éste será el aceite de la unción santa.

26 A nd thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the testimony with it and the ark of the testimony

Con él ungirás el Tabernáculo de reunión, el Arca del testimonio,

27 a nd the table and all its vessels and the lampstand and its vessels and the altar of incense

la mesa con todos sus utensilios, el candelabro con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,

28 a nd the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels and the laver and its base.

el altar del holocausto con todos sus utensilios, y la fuente con su base.

29 T hus thou shalt consecrate them, and they shall be most holy; whatever touches them shall be sanctified.

Así los consagrarás, y serán cosas santísimas; todo aquello que los toque será santificado.

30 A nd thou shalt also anoint Aaron and his sons and sanctify them that they may be my priests.

»Ungirás también a Aarón y a sus hijos, y los consagrarás para que sean mis sacerdotes.

31 A nd thou shalt speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, This shall be my oil of the holy anointing throughout your ages.

Hablarás a los hijos de Israel, y les dirás: “Éste será el aceite de la santa unción para vuestras generaciones.

32 I t shall not be poured upon man’s flesh; neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it; it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.

Sobre carne de hombre no será derramado, ni haréis otro semejante conforme a su composición; santo es, y por santo lo tendréis vosotros.

33 W hoever compounds any like it and puts any of it upon a stranger shall be cut off from his people.

Cualquiera que componga un ungüento semejante o ponga de él sobre algún extraño, será eliminado de su pueblo.”»

34 A nd the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee aromas, stacte and onycha and aromatic galbanum and pure frankincense, of each in equal weight.

Dijo además Jehová a Moisés: «Toma especias aromáticas, estacte y uña aromática, gálbano aromático e incienso puro; todo en cantidades iguales,

35 A nd thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy;

y harás con ello, según el arte del perfumador, un incienso perfumado, bien mezclado, puro y santo.

36 a nd thou shalt beat some of it very small and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the testimony, where I will testify unto thee of myself. It shall be most holy unto you.

Molerás parte de él en polvo fino y lo pondrás delante del Testimonio en el Tabernáculo de reunión, donde yo me mostraré a ti. Os será cosa santísima.

37 A nd as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves another according to the composition thereof: it shall be holiness unto thee for the LORD.

Como este incienso que harás, no os haréis otro según su composición; te será cosa sagrada para Jehová.

38 W hoever shall make another like unto that to smell it shall be cut off from his people.

Cualquiera que haga otro como éste para olerlo, será eliminado de su pueblo.»
