1 ¶ Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless the name of his holiness.

Давидів. Благослови, душе моя, Господа, і все нутро моє святе Ймення Його!

2 B less the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Благослови, душе моя, Господа, і не забувай за всі добродійства Його!

3 W ho forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases;

Всі провини Твої Він прощає, всі недуги твої вздоровляє.

4 w ho redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with mercy and compassion;

Від могили життя твоє Він визволяє, Він милістю та милосердям тебе коронує.

5 w ho satisfies thy mouth with good things so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Він бажання твоє насичає добром, відновиться, мов той орел, твоя юність!

6 ¶ The LORD executes righteousness and justice unto all that suffer violence.

Господь чинить правду та суд для всіх переслідуваних.

7 H e made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the sons of Israel.

Він дороги Свої об'явив був Мойсеєві, діла Свої дітям ізраїлевим.

8 T he LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Щедрий і милосердний Господь, довготерпеливий і многомилостивий.

9 H e will not always chide, neither will he keep his anger for ever.

Не завжди на нас ворогує, і не навіки заховує гнів.

10 H e has not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

Не за нашими прогріхами Він поводиться з нами, і відплачує нам не за провинами нашими.

11 F or as the heavens are high above the earth so does he increase his mercy over those that fear him.

Бо як високо небо стоїть над землею, велика така Його милість до тих, хто боїться Його,

12 A s far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our rebellions from us.

як далекий від заходу схід, так Він віддалив від нас наші провини!

13 L ike as a father has mercy upon his children, so the LORD has mercy upon those that fear him.

Як жалує батько дітей, так Господь пожалівся над тими, хто боїться Його,

14 F or he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

бо знає Він створення наше, пам'ятає, що ми порох:

15 A s for man, his days are as grass; as an open flower of the field, so he blossoms.

чоловік як трава дні його, немов цвіт польовий так цвіте він,

16 F or the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place shall know it no more.

та вітер перейде над ним і немає його, і вже місце його не пізнає його...

17 B ut the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those that fear him, and his righteousness unto the children’s children,

А милість Господня від віку й до віку на тих, хто боїться Його, і правда Його над синами синів,

18 t o such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

що Його заповіта додержують, і що пам'ятають накази Його, щоб виконувати їх!

19 ¶ The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.

Господь міцно поставив на Небі престола Свого, а Царство Його над усім володіє.

20 B less the LORD, ye his angels, valiant and strong, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Благословіть Господа, Його Анголи, велетні сильні, що виконуєте Його слово, щоб слухати голосу слів Його!

21 B less ye the LORD, all ye his hosts, ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

Благословіть Господа, усі сили небесні Його, слуги Його, що чините волю Його!

22 B less the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Благословіть Господа, всі діла Його, на всіх місцях царювання Його! Благослови, душе моя, Господа!
