1 ¶ LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in the mountain of thy holiness?

Псалом Давидів. Господи, хто може перебувати в наметі Твоїм? Хто мешкати може на святій Твоїй горі?

2 H e that walks in integrity and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.

Той, хто в невинності ходить, і праведність чинить, і правду говорить у серці своїм,

3 H e that does not backbite with his tongue nor do evil to his neighbour nor take up a reproach against his neighbour.

хто не обмовляє своїм язиком, і злого не чинить для друга свого, і свого ближнього не зневажає!

4 I n whose eyes the vile person is not esteemed; but he honours those that fear the LORD. He that swears to his own hurt and does not change.

Обридливий погорджений в очах його, і він богобійних шанує, присягає, для себе хоча б і на зло, і дотримує;

5 H e that does not put out his money to usury nor take a bribe against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

не дає свого срібла на лихву, і не бере на невинного підкупу. Хто чинить таке, ніколи той не захитається!
