1 J ehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

Псалом Давидів. Господи, хто може перебувати в наметі Твоїм? Хто мешкати може на святій Твоїй горі?

2 H e that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart;

Той, хто в невинності ходить, і праведність чинить, і правду говорить у серці своїм,

3 H e that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor;

хто не обмовляє своїм язиком, і злого не чинить для друга свого, і свого ближнього не зневажає!

4 I n whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;

Обридливий погорджений в очах його, і він богобійних шанує, присягає, для себе хоча б і на зло, і дотримує;

5 H e that putteth not out his money to interest, Nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

не дає свого срібла на лихву, і не бере на невинного підкупу. Хто чинить таке, ніколи той не захитається!
