1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

2 C ommand the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

Накажи Ізраїлевим синам, і вони принесуть тобі чистої, вичавленої оливи з оливкового дерева на освітлення, щоб запалювати вічну лямпаду.

3 W ithout the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations.

Поза завісою свідоцтва в скинії заповіту прирядить її Аарон від вечора аж до ранку перед Господнім лицем назавжди. Це вічна постанова для ваших поколінь!

4 H e shall keep in order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before Jehovah continually.

На чистім свічнику прирядить він ті лямпади перед Господнім лицем назавжди.

5 A nd thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth parts of an ephah shall be in one cake.

І візьмеш пшеничної муки, і випечеш із неї дванадцять калачів, по дві десяті ефи буде один калач.

6 A nd thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.

І покладеш їх у два ряди, шість у ряд, на чистому столі перед Господнім лицем,

7 A nd thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

і поклади на ряд чистого ладану, і він стане для хліба за пригадувальну частину, огняна жертва для Господа.

8 E very sabbath day he shall set it in order before Jehovah continually; it is on the behalf of the children of Israel, an everlasting covenant.

Щосуботи він покладе його перед Господнім лицем завжди, від Ізраїлевих синів, вічний заповіт.

9 A nd it shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire by a perpetual statute.

І він буде для Аарона та для синів його, і вони будуть їсти його в святому місці, бо він найсвятіше з огняних жертов Господніх. Це вічна постанова.

10 A nd the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp:

І вийшов син ізраїльтянки, а він був син єгиптянина, між Ізраїлевих синів. І сварився в таборі син тієї ізраїльтянки з одним ізраїльтянином.

11 a nd the son of the Israelitish woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

І син тієї ізраїльтянки богозневажив Ім'я Господнє, і проклинав. І привели його до Мойсея. А ймення матері його Шеломіт, дочка Діври, з Данового племени.

12 A nd they put him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouth of Jehovah.

І посадили його під сторожу аж до вияснення через уста Господні.

13 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

14 B ring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

Виведи того, що проклинав, поза табір, і покладуть усі, хто чув, свої руки на голову його, і закидає його камінням уся громада.

15 A nd thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

А до Ізраїлевих синів будеш промовляти, говорячи: Кожен чоловік, коли прокляне Бога свого, то понесе він свій гріх.

16 A nd he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the sojourner, as the home-born, when he blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, shall be put to death.

А той, хто богозневажив Господнє Ймення, буде конче забитий, конче укаменує його вся громада; чи приходько, чи тубілець, коли богозневажатиме Ймення Господнє, буде забитий.

17 A nd he that smiteth any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

І кожен, хто заб'є людину, буде конче забитий.

18 A nd he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

А хто заб'є яку скотину, той відшкодує її, життя за життя.

19 A nd if a man cause a blemish in his neighbor; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:

І кожен, коли зробить ваду своєму ближньому, як хто зробив, так буде зроблено йому:

20 b reach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be rendered unto him.

зламання за зламання, око за око, зуб за зуба, яку ваду зробить хто кому, така буде зроблена йому.

21 A nd he that killeth a beast shall make it good: and he that killeth a man shall be put to death.

А хто заб'є скотину, той відшкодує її, а хто заб'є людину, той буде забитий.

22 Y e shall have one manner of law, as well for the sojourner, as for the home-born: for I am Jehovah your God.

Суд один буде для вас, приходько буде як тубілець. Бо Я Господь Бог ваш!

23 A nd Moses spake to the children of Israel; and they brought forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. And the children of Israel did as Jehovah commanded Moses.

І Мойсей промовляв до Ізраїлевих синів. І вони вивели того, хто проклинав, поза табір, та й закидали його камінням. І зробили Ізраїлеві сини, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві.
