1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

Habló Jehová a Moisés y le dijo:

2 C ommand the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

«Manda a los hijos de Israel que te traigan para el alumbrado aceite puro de olivas machacadas, para hacer arder las lámparas continuamente.

3 W ithout the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations.

Fuera del velo del Testimonio, en el Tabernáculo de reunión, las dispondrá Aarón delante de Jehová desde la tarde hasta la mañana. Estatuto perpetuo os será por vuestras generaciones.

4 H e shall keep in order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before Jehovah continually.

Sobre el candelabro de oro puro dispondrá las lámparas, para que ardan siempre delante de Jehová. Los panes de la proposición

5 A nd thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth parts of an ephah shall be in one cake.

»Tomarás flor de harina, y cocerás con ella doce tortas; cada torta será de dos décimas de efa.

6 A nd thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.

Y las pondrás en dos hileras, seis en cada hilera, sobre la mesa de oro puro delante de Jehová.

7 A nd thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

Pondrás también sobre cada hilera incienso puro, y será para el pan como perfume, como ofrenda que se quema a Jehová.

8 E very sabbath day he shall set it in order before Jehovah continually; it is on the behalf of the children of Israel, an everlasting covenant.

Cada sábado lo dispondrá sin falta delante de Jehová, en nombre de los hijos de Israel, como pacto perpetuo.

9 A nd it shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire by a perpetual statute.

Será, por derecho perpetuo, de Aarón y de sus hijos, los cuales lo comerán en lugar santo, porque es una cosa muy santa que les pertenece de las ofrendas que se queman a Jehová.» Castigo del blasfemo

10 A nd the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp:

En aquel tiempo, el hijo de una mujer israelita, pero de padre egipcio, salió entre los israelitas. Cuando el hijo de la israelita y un hombre de Israel riñeron en el campamento,

11 a nd the son of the Israelitish woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

el hijo de la mujer israelita blasfemó, y maldijo el Nombre. Entonces lo llevaron a Moisés (su madre se llamaba Selomit, hija de Dibri, de la tribu de Dan).

12 A nd they put him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouth of Jehovah.

Lo pusieron en la cárcel, hasta que les fuera declarado qué hacer por palabra de Jehová.

13 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

Y Jehová habló a Moisés, y le dijo:

14 B ring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

«Saca al blasfemo fuera del campamento, y todos los que lo oyeron pongan sus manos sobre su cabeza, y apedréelo toda la congregación.

15 A nd thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

Y a los hijos de Israel hablarás así: Cualquiera que maldiga a su Dios cargará con su pecado.

16 A nd he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the sojourner, as the home-born, when he blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, shall be put to death.

El que blasfeme contra el nombre de Jehová ha de ser muerto; toda la congregación lo apedreará. Tanto el extranjero como el natural, si blasfema contra el Nombre, que muera.

17 A nd he that smiteth any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

»Asimismo el hombre que hiera de muerte a cualquier persona, sufrirá la muerte.

18 A nd he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

»El que hiera a algún animal habrá de restituirlo, animal por animal.

19 A nd if a man cause a blemish in his neighbor; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:

»El que cause una lesión a su prójimo, según lo hizo, así le sea hecho:

20 b reach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be rendered unto him.

rotura por rotura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; según la lesión que le haya causado al otro, igual se hará con él.

21 A nd he that killeth a beast shall make it good: and he that killeth a man shall be put to death.

»El que hiera algún animal ha de restituirlo, pero el que hiera de muerte a un hombre, morirá.

22 Y e shall have one manner of law, as well for the sojourner, as for the home-born: for I am Jehovah your God.

»Un mismo estatuto tendréis para el extranjero y para el natural, porque yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios.»

23 A nd Moses spake to the children of Israel; and they brought forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. And the children of Israel did as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Entonces habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel, y ellos sacaron del campamento al blasfemo y lo apedrearon. Los hijos de Israel hicieron según Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
