1 T hen I looked, and behold, in the firmament that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

Miré, y vi que sobre la bóveda que estaba sobre la cabeza de los querubines había como una piedra de zafiro, que tenía el aspecto de un trono que apareció sobre ellos.

2 A nd he spake unto the man clothed in linen, and said, Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both thy hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

Habló al hombre vestido de lino, y le dijo: «Entra en medio de las ruedas debajo de los querubines, llena tus manos de carbones encendidos de entre los querubines y espárcelos sobre la ciudad.» Y entró a vista mía.

3 N ow the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

Los querubines estaban a la mano derecha de la casa cuando este hombre entró; y la nube llenaba el atrio de adentro.

4 A nd the glory of Jehovah mounted up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah's glory.

Entonces la gloria de Jehová se elevó de encima del querubín hacia el umbral de la puerta; la casa se llenó de la nube y el atrio se llenó del resplandor de la gloria de Jehová.

5 A nd the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaketh.

Y el estruendo de las alas de los querubines se oía hasta el atrio de afuera, como la voz del Dios omnipotente cuando habla.

6 A nd it came to pass, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim, that he went in, and stood beside a wheel.

Aconteció, pues, que al mandar al hombre vestido de lino, diciendo: «Toma fuego de entre las ruedas, de entre los querubines», él entró y se detuvo entre las ruedas.

7 A nd the cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim unto the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed in linen, who took it and went out.

Un querubín extendió su mano de en medio de los querubines al fuego que estaba entre ellos, y tomó de él y lo puso en las manos del que estaba vestido de lino, el cual lo tomó y salió.

8 A nd there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.

Y apareció en los querubines la figura de una mano de hombre debajo de sus alas.

9 A nd I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like unto a beryl stone.

Miré, y vi cuatro ruedas junto a los querubines, junto a cada querubín una rueda; y el aspecto de las ruedas era como de crisólito.

10 A nd as for their appearance, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel have been within a wheel.

En cuanto a su apariencia, las cuatro eran de una misma estructura, como si estuviera una en medio de otra.

11 W hen they went, they went in their four directions: they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.

Cuando andaban, hacia los cuatro frentes andaban; no se volvían cuando andaban, sino que al lugar adonde se volvía la primera, en pos de ella iban; no se volvían cuando andaban.

12 A nd their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.

Todo su cuerpo, sus espaldas, sus manos, sus alas y las ruedas, todo estaba lleno de ojos alrededor de sus cuatro ruedas.

13 A s for the wheels, they were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels.

A las ruedas, oyéndolo yo, se les gritaba: «¡Rueda!»

14 A nd every one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third face the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

Cada uno tenía cuatro caras: la primera era un rostro de querubín, y la segunda, de hombre; la tercera era una cara de león, y la cuarta una cara de águila.

15 A nd the cherubim mounted up: this is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.

Se elevaron los querubines; éste es el ser viviente que vi en el río Quebar.

16 A nd when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also turned not from beside them.

Cuando andaban los querubines, andaban las ruedas junto con ellos; y cuando los querubines alzaban sus alas para elevarse de la tierra, las ruedas tampoco se separaban de ellos.

17 W hen they stood, these stood; and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

Cuando se detenían ellos, ellas se detenían, y cuando ellos se elevaban, se elevaban con ellos; porque el espíritu de los seres vivientes estaba en ellas.

18 A nd the glory of Jehovah went forth from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

Entonces la gloria de Jehová se elevó de sobre el umbral de la casa, y se puso sobre los querubines.

19 A nd the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them: and they stood at the door of the east gate of Jehovah's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

Y alzando los querubines sus alas, se elevaron de la tierra ante mis ojos. Cuando ellos salieron, también las ruedas se elevaron al lado de ellos, y se detuvieron a la entrada de la puerta oriental de la casa de Jehová; y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba por encima, sobre ellos.

20 T his is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were cherubim.

Estos eran los mismos seres vivientes que vi debajo del Dios de Israel junto al río Quebar, y me di cuenta de que eran querubines.

21 E very one had four faces, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

Cada uno tenía cuatro caras y cada uno cuatro alas, y figuras de manos humanas debajo de sus alas.

22 A nd as for the likeness of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves; they went every one straight forward.

La semejanza de sus rostros era la de los rostros que vi junto al río Quebar, su misma apariencia y su ser; cada uno caminaba derecho hacia adelante.
