1 A nd the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

2 S on of man, set thy face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

«Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro contra Gog, en tierra de Magog, príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal, y profetiza contra él

3 a nd say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal:

diciendo: “Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Yo estoy contra ti, Gog, príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal.

4 a nd I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords;

Te quebrantaré, pondré garfios en tus quijadas y te sacaré a ti junto con todo tu ejército: caballos y jinetes, completamente equipados, una gran multitud con paveses y escudos, armados todos ellos con espadas.

5 P ersia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

Persia, Cus y Fut con ellos; todos ellos con escudo y yelmo;

6 G omer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes; even many peoples with thee.

Gomer con todas sus tropas; la casa de Togarma, de los confines del norte, con todas sus tropas. Muchos pueblos estarán contigo.

7 B e thou prepared, yea, prepare thyself, thou, and all thy companies that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

»”Prepárate y está alerta, tú y toda tu multitud que se ha reunido contigo, y sé tú su comandante.

8 A fter many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, upon the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought forth out of the peoples, and they shall dwell securely, all of them.

De aquí a muchos días serás visitado; al cabo de los años vendrás al país salvado de la espada, contra gentes recogidas de entre muchos pueblos en los montes de Israel, que siempre fueron una desolación. Fueron sacadas de entre las naciones y todas ellas vivirán confiadamente.

9 A nd thou shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy hordes, and many peoples with thee.

Subirás tú y vendrás como una tempestad; como un nublado que cubra la tierra serás tú con todas tus tropas, y muchos pueblos contigo.

10 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt devise an evil device:

»”Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: En aquel día subirán pensamientos a tu corazón y concebirás un plan perverso.

11 a nd thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates;

Dirás: ‘Subiré contra un país indefenso, iré contra gentes tranquilas que habitan confiadamente. Todas ellas habitan sin murallas, y sin cerrojos ni puertas.’

12 t o take the spoil and to take the prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and against the people that are gathered out of the nations, that have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the earth.

Subirás para arrebatar despojos, para tomar botín, para poner tus manos sobre las ruinas ahora habitadas y sobre el pueblo recogido de entre las naciones, que se hace de ganado y posesiones, que habita en la parte central del país.

13 S heba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take the spoil? hast thou assembled thy company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take great spoil?

Sabá y Dedán, los mercaderes de Tarsis y todos sus príncipes te dirán: ‘¿Has venido a arrebatar despojos? ¿Has reunido tu multitud para tomar botín, para quitar plata y oro, para tomar ganados y posesiones, para arrebatar grandes despojos?’”

14 T herefore, son of man, prophesy, and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In that day when my people Israel dwelleth securely, shalt thou not know it?

»Por tanto, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di a Gog que así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: “En aquel tiempo, cuando mi pueblo Israel habite con seguridad, ¿no lo sabrás tú?

15 A nd thou shalt come from thy place out of the uttermost parts of the north, thou, and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army;

Vendrás de tu lugar, de las regiones del norte, tú y muchos pueblos contigo, todos ellos a caballo, una gran multitud y un poderoso ejército;

16 a nd thou shalt come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land: it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring thee against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

y subirás contra mi pueblo Israel como un nublado que cubra la tierra. Así será al cabo de los días: yo te traeré sobre mi tierra, para que las naciones me conozcan cuando sea santificado en ti, Gog, delante de sus ojos.

17 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: Art thou he of whom I spake in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, that prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring thee against them?

»”Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: ¿No eres tú aquel de quien hablé yo en tiempos pasados por mis siervos los profetas de Israel, los cuales profetizaron en aquellos tiempos que yo te había de traer sobre ellos?

18 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, that my wrath shall come up into my nostrils.

En aquel tiempo, cuando venga Gog contra la tierra de Israel, dice Jehová, el Señor, subirá mi ira y mi enojo.

19 F or in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

Porque en mi celo, en el fuego de mi ira, he dicho que en aquel tiempo habrá gran temblor sobre la tierra de Israel,

20 s o that the fishes of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

que los peces del mar, las aves del cielo, las bestias del campo, toda serpiente que se arrastra sobre la tierra y todos los hombres que están sobre la faz de la tierra, temblarán ante mi presencia. Se desmoronarán los montes, los vallados caerán y todo muro se vendrá a tierra.

21 A nd I will call for a sword against him unto all my mountains, saith the Lord Jehovah: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

En todos mis montes llamaré contra él a la espada, dice Jehová, el Señor; la espada de cada cual estará contra su hermano.

22 A nd with pestilence and with blood will I enter into judgment with him; and I will rain upon him, and upon his hordes, and upon the many peoples that are with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

Yo litigaré contra él con peste y con sangre; y haré llover sobre él, sobre sus tropas y sobre los muchos pueblos que están con él, una lluvia impetuosa y piedras de granizo, fuego y azufre.

23 A nd I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

Entonces seré engrandecido y santificado, y seré conocido ante los ojos de muchas naciones. Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.”
