1 I n that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

«En aquel tiempo habrá un manantial abierto para la casa de David y para los habitantes de Jerusalén, para la purificación del pecado y de la inmundicia.

2 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

Y en aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, quitaré de la tierra los nombres de las imágenes, y nunca más serán recordados; también exterminaré de la tierra a los profetas y al espíritu de inmundicia.

3 A nd it shall come to pass that, when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of Jehovah; and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

»Y acontecerá que si alguno continúa profetizando, le dirán el padre y la madre que lo engendraron: “Tú no vivirás, porque has hablado mentira en el nombre de Jehová.” Y el padre y la madre que lo engendraron lo traspasarán cuando profetice.

4 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he prophesieth; neither shall they wear a hairy mantle to deceive:

Sucederá en aquel tiempo, que todos los profetas se avergonzarán de su visión cuando profeticen; nunca más vestirán el manto velloso para mentir.

5 b ut he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondman from my youth.

Cada cual dirá: “No soy profeta; labrador soy de la tierra, pues he estado en el campo desde mi juventud.”

6 A nd one shall say unto him, What are these wounds between thine arms? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

Y si alguien le pregunta: “¿Qué heridas son éstas en tus manos?”, él responderá: “Las recibí en casa de mis amigos.”» El pastor de Jehová, herido

7 A wake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith Jehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.

«¡Levántate, espada, contra el pastor y contra el hombre que me acompaña!, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. Hiere al pastor y serán dispersadas las ovejas; yo tornaré mi mano contra los pequeñitos.

8 A nd it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith Jehovah, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Y acontecerá en toda la tierra, dice Jehová, que dos tercios serán exterminados y se perderán, mas el otro tercio quedará en ella.

9 A nd I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

A este tercio lo meteré en el fuego, lo fundiré como se funde la plata, lo probaré como se prueba el oro. Él invocará mi nombre, y yo lo oiré. Yo diré: “Pueblo mío”, y él dirá: “Jehová es mi Dios.”»
