1 B e merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; For my soul taketh refuge in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge, Until these calamities be overpast.

Ten misericordia de mí, Dios, ten misericordia de mí, porque en ti ha confiado mi alma y en la sombra de tus alas me ampararé hasta que pasen los quebrantos.

2 I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth all things for me.

Clamaré al Dios Altísimo, al Dios que me favorece.

3 H e will send from heaven, and save me, When he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God will send forth his lovingkindness and his truth.

Él enviará desde los cielos y me salvará de la infamia del que me acosa. Selah Dios enviará su misericordia y su verdad.

4 M y soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.

5 B e thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let thy glory be above all the earth.

¡Exaltado seas, Dios, sobre los cielos! ¡Sobre toda la tierra sea tu gloria!

6 T hey have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down: They have digged a pit before me; They are fallen into the midst thereof themselves. Selah

Red han armado a mis pasos; se ha abatido mi alma; hoyo han cavado delante de mí; en medio de él han caído ellos mismos. Selah

7 M y heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing, yea, I will sing praises.

Listo está mi corazón, Dios, mi corazón está dispuesto; cantaré y entonaré salmos.

8 A wake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.

¡Despierta, alma mía! ¡Despertad, salterio y arpa! ¡Me levantaré de mañana!

9 I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

Te alabaré entre los pueblos, Señor; cantaré de ti entre las naciones,

10 F or thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies.

porque grande hasta los cielos es tu misericordia y hasta las nubes tu verdad.

11 B e thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let thy glory be above all the earth.
