1 B e merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; For my soul taketh refuge in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge, Until these calamities be overpast.

Ten piedad de mí, oh Dios, ten piedad de mí, Porque en Ti se refugia mi alma; En la sombra de Tus alas me ampararé Hasta que la destrucción pase.

2 I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth all things for me.

Clamaré al Dios Altísimo, Al Dios que todo lo hace para mí.

3 H e will send from heaven, and save me, When he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God will send forth his lovingkindness and his truth.

El enviará desde los cielos y me salvará; El reprocha al que me pisotea. (Selah) Dios enviará Su misericordia y Su verdad.

4 M y soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.

Mi alma está entre leones; Tengo que acostarme entre los que vomitan fuego; Entre los hijos de los hombres, cuyos dientes son lanzas y saetas, Y cuya lengua es espada afilada.

5 B e thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let thy glory be above all the earth.

Exaltado seas sobre los cielos, oh Dios; Sea Tu gloria sobre toda la tierra.

6 T hey have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down: They have digged a pit before me; They are fallen into the midst thereof themselves. Selah

Han tendido una red para mis pasos; Mi alma está abatida; Han cavado una fosa delante de mí, Pero ellos mismos han caído en medio de ella. (Selah)

7 M y heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing, yea, I will sing praises.

Firme está mi corazón, oh Dios, mi corazón está firme; ¡Cantaré y entonaré salmos!

8 A wake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.

¡Despierta, gloria mía! ¡Despierten, arpa y lira! ¡A la aurora despertaré!

9 I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

Te alabaré entre los pueblos, Señor; Te cantaré alabanzas entre las naciones.

10 F or thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies.

Porque grande, hasta los cielos, es Tu misericordia, Y hasta el firmamento Tu verdad.

11 B e thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let thy glory be above all the earth.
