1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

2 C ommand the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

“ Manda a los Israelitas que te traigan aceite puro de olivas machacadas para el alumbrado, para hacer arder la lámpara continuamente.

3 W ithout the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations.

Fuera del velo del testimonio, en la tienda de reunión, Aarón las dispondrá para que ardan desde el anochecer hasta la mañana delante del Señor continuamente; será estatuto perpetuo para todas sus generaciones.

4 H e shall keep in order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before Jehovah continually.

Mantendrá las lámparas en orden en el candelabro de oro puro, continuamente delante del Señor.

5 A nd thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth parts of an ephah shall be in one cake.

“Tomarás flor de harina y con ella cocerás doce tortas; en cada torta habrá dos décimas de efa.

6 A nd thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.

Las colocarás en dos hileras, seis en cada hilera, sobre la mesa de oro puro delante del Señor.

7 A nd thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

Y en cada hilera pondrás incienso puro, para que sea porción memorial del pan, una ofrenda encendida para el Señor.

8 E very sabbath day he shall set it in order before Jehovah continually; it is on the behalf of the children of Israel, an everlasting covenant.

Cada día de reposo, continuamente, se pondrá en orden delante del Señor. Es un pacto eterno para los Israelitas.

9 A nd it shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire by a perpetual statute.

Y será para Aarón y para sus hijos, y lo comerán en un lugar santo; porque lo tendrá como cosa muy sagrada de las ofrendas encendidas para el Señor, por derecho perpetuo.” Castigo del Blasfemo

10 A nd the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp:

El hijo de una mujer Israelita, cuyo padre era Egipcio, salió entre los Israelitas; y el hijo de la Israelita y un hombre de Israel lucharon en el campamento.

11 a nd the son of the Israelitish woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

Y el hijo de la Israelita blasfemó el Nombre, y maldijo. Entonces lo llevaron a Moisés. (El nombre de su madre era Selomit, hija de Dibri, de la tribu de Dan.)

12 A nd they put him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouth of Jehovah.

Lo pusieron en la cárcel, hasta que se les aclarara la palabra del Señor.

13 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

14 B ring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

“Saca fuera del campamento al que maldijo, y que todos los que lo oyeron pongan las manos sobre su cabeza, y que toda la congregación lo apedree.

15 A nd thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

Hablarás a los Israelitas y les dirás: ‘Si alguien maldice a su Dios, llevará su pecado.

16 A nd he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the sojourner, as the home-born, when he blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, shall be put to death.

Además, el que blasfeme el nombre del Señor, ciertamente ha de morir; toda la congregación ciertamente lo apedreará. Tanto el extranjero como el nativo, cuando blasfeme el Nombre, ha de morir.

17 A nd he that smiteth any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

Si un hombre le quita la vida a algún ser humano, ciertamente ha de morir.

18 A nd he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

Y el que quite la vida a un animal lo restituirá, vida por vida.

19 A nd if a man cause a blemish in his neighbor; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:

Si un hombre hiere a su prójimo, según hizo, así se le hará:

20 b reach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be rendered unto him.

fractura por fractura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; según la lesión que haya hecho a otro, así se le hará.

21 A nd he that killeth a beast shall make it good: and he that killeth a man shall be put to death.

El que mate un animal, lo restituirá, pero el que mate a un hombre, ha de morir.

22 Y e shall have one manner of law, as well for the sojourner, as for the home-born: for I am Jehovah your God.

Habrá una misma ley para ustedes; será tanto para el extranjero como para el nativo, porque Yo soy el Señor su Dios.’”

23 A nd Moses spake to the children of Israel; and they brought forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. And the children of Israel did as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Entonces Moisés habló a los Israelitas, y ellos sacaron fuera del campamento al que había maldecido, y lo apedrearon. Los Israelitas hicieron tal como el Señor había mandado a Moisés.
