1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

El Señor también dijo a Moisés:

2 S peak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Jehovah your God.

“Di a los Israelitas: ‘Yo soy el Señor su Dios.

3 A fter the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes.

Ustedes no harán como hacen en la tierra de Egipto en la cual moraron, ni harán como hacen en la tierra de Canaán adonde Yo los llevo; no andarán en los estatutos de ellos.

4 M ine ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God.

Habrán de cumplir Mis leyes y guardarán Mis estatutos para vivir según ellos. Yo soy el Señor su Dios.

5 Y e shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.

Por tanto, guardarán Mis estatutos y Mis leyes, por los cuales el hombre vivirá si los cumple. Yo soy el Señor.

6 N one of you shall approach to any that are near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am Jehovah.

Ninguno de ustedes se acercará a una parienta cercana suya para descubrir su desnudez. Yo soy el Señor.

7 T he nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

No descubrirás la desnudez de tu padre, o la desnudez de tu madre. Es tu madre, no descubrirás su desnudez.

8 T he nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

No descubrirás la desnudez de la mujer de tu padre; es la desnudez de tu padre.

9 T he nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

La desnudez de tu hermana, sea hija de tu padre o de tu madre, nacida en casa o nacida fuera, su desnudez no descubrirás.

10 T he nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.

La desnudez de la hija de tu hijo, o de la hija de tu hija, su desnudez no descubrirás; porque su desnudez es la tuya.

11 T he nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

La desnudez de la hija de la mujer de tu padre, engendrada de tu padre, su desnudez no descubrirás; tu hermana es.

12 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.

No descubrirás la desnudez de la hermana de tu padre; parienta de tu padre es.

13 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.

No descubrirás la desnudez de la hermana de tu madre; parienta de tu madre es.

14 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

No descubrirás la desnudez del hermano de tu padre; no te acercarás a su mujer, tu tía es.

15 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

No descubrirás la desnudez de tu nuera; es mujer de tu hijo, no descubrirás su desnudez.

16 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.

No descubrirás la desnudez de la mujer de tu hermano; es la desnudez de tu hermano.

17 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; thou shalt not take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; they are near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

No descubrirás la desnudez de una mujer y la de su hija, ni tomarás la hija de su hijo ni la hija de su hija para descubrir su desnudez; son parientas. Es aborrecible.

18 A nd thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.

No tomarás mujer junto con su hermana, para que sea rival suya, descubriendo su desnudez mientras ésta viva.

19 A nd thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.

Y no te acercarás a una mujer para descubrir su desnudez durante su impureza menstrual.

20 A nd thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her.

No te acostarás con la mujer de tu prójimo, contaminándote con ella.

21 A nd thou shalt not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech; neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.

Tampoco darás hijo tuyo para ofrecerlo a Moloc, ni profanarás el nombre de tu Dios. Yo soy el Señor.

22 T hou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

No te acostarás con varón como los que se acuestan con mujer; es una abominación.

23 A nd thou shalt not lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

No tendrás trato sexual con ningún animal, contaminándote con él, ni mujer alguna se pondrá delante de un animal para tener trato sexual con él; es una perversión.

24 D efile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you;

No se contaminen con ninguna de estas cosas, porque por todas estas cosas se han contaminado las naciones que voy a echar de delante de ustedes.

25 A nd the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out her inhabitants.

Porque esta tierra se ha corrompido, por tanto, he castigado su iniquidad sobre ella, y la tierra ha vomitado a sus moradores.

26 Y e therefore shall keep my statutes and mine ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you;

Pero en cuanto a ustedes, guardarán Mis estatutos y Mis leyes y no harán ninguna de estas abominaciones, ni el nativo ni el extranjero que reside entre ustedes

27 ( for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land is defiled);

(porque los hombres de esta tierra que fueron antes de ustedes han hecho todas estas abominaciones, y la tierra se ha contaminado),

28 t hat the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

no sea que la tierra los vomite por haberla contaminado, como vomitó a la nación que estuvo antes de ustedes.

29 F or whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.

Porque todo el que haga cualquiera de estas abominaciones, aquellas personas que las hagan, serán exterminadas de entre su pueblo.

30 T herefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.

Por tanto, ustedes guardarán Mi ordenanza, no practicando ninguna de las costumbres abominables que se practicaron antes de ustedes, para que no se contaminen con ellas. Yo soy el Señor su Dios.’”
