1 B ehold, Jehovah's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

La mano del Señor no se ha acortado para salvar; Ni Su oído se ha endurecido para oír.

2 b ut your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Pero las iniquidades de ustedes han hecho separación entre ustedes y su Dios, Y los pecados le han hecho esconder Su rostro para no escuchar los.

3 F or your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue muttereth wickedness.

Porque las manos de ustedes están manchadas de sangre, Y sus dedos de iniquidad. Sus labios hablan mentira, Su lengua murmura maldad.

4 N one sueth in righteousness, and none pleadeth in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

No hay quien clame con justicia ni quien abogue con honestidad. Confían en la confusión, y hablan falsedades; Conciben malicia, y dan a luz iniquidad.

5 T hey hatch adders' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth; and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.

Incuban huevos de áspides y tejen telas de araña; El que come de sus huevos muere, Y del que es aplastado sale una víbora.

6 T heir webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

Sus telas no servirán de vestidos, Ni se cubrirán con lo que hacen. Sus obras son obras de iniquidad, Y actos de violencia hay en sus manos.

7 T heir feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their paths.

Sus pies corren al mal, Y se apresuran a derramar sangre inocente. Sus pensamientos son pensamientos de iniquidad, Desolación y destrucción hay en sus caminos.

8 T he way of peace they know not; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whosoever goeth therein doth not know peace.

Camino de paz no conocen, Y no hay justicia en sus senderos. Han torcido a su favor las sendas, Cualquiera que ande en ellas no conoce la paz.

9 T herefore is justice far from us, neither doth righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.

Por tanto el derecho está lejos de nosotros, Y no nos alcanza la justicia. Esperamos luz, y sólo hay tinieblas; Claridad, pero andamos en oscuridad.

10 W e grope for the wall like the blind; yea, we grope as they that have no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the twilight; among them that are lusty we are as dead men.

Vamos tocando la pared como ciegos, Y andamos a tientas como los que no tienen ojos; Tropezamos al mediodía como al anochecer, Entre los robustos somos como muertos.

11 W e roar all like bears, and moan sore like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.

Todos nosotros gruñimos como osos, Y gemimos tristemente como palomas. Esperamos la justicia, pero no la hay, La salvación, pero está lejos de nosotros.

12 F or our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:

Porque se han multiplicado nuestras transgresiones delante de Ti, Y nuestros pecados testifican contra nosotros. Porque nuestras transgresiones están con nosotros, Y conocemos nuestras iniquidades:

13 t ransgressing and denying Jehovah, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

Transgredir y negar al Señor, Apartarse de nuestro Dios, Hablar de opresión y rebelión, Concebir y proferir en el corazón palabras mentirosas.

14 A nd justice is turned away backward, and righteousness standeth afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and uprightness cannot enter.

Se ha vuelto atrás el derecho, Y la justicia permanece lejos; Porque ha tropezado en la plaza la verdad, Y la rectitud no puede entrar.

15 Y ea, truth is lacking; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey. And Jehovah saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.

Sí, falta la verdad, Y el que se aparta del mal es hecho presa. Y lo vio el Señor, Y desagradó a Sus ojos que no hubiera derecho.

16 A nd he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it upheld him.

Vio que no había nadie, Y se asombró de que no hubiera quien intercediera. Entonces Su brazo Le trajo salvación, Y Su justicia Lo sostuvo.

17 A nd he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.

Se puso la justicia como coraza, Y el casco de salvación en Su cabeza; Como vestidura se puso ropas de venganza, Y se envolvió de celo como de un manto.

18 A ccording to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.

Conforme a los hechos, así El pagará: Furor para Sus adversarios, justo pago para Sus enemigos; A las islas dará su pago.

19 S o shall they fear the name of Jehovah from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of Jehovah driveth.

Y temerán (reverenciarán) desde el occidente el nombre del Señor Y desde el nacimiento del sol Su gloria, Porque El vendrá como torrente impetuoso, Que el viento del Señor impulsa.

20 A nd a Redeemer will come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Jehovah.

“Y vendrá un Redentor a Sion Y a los que se aparten de la transgresión en Jacob,” declara el Señor.

21 A nd as for me, this is my covenant with them, saith Jehovah: my Spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith Jehovah, from henceforth and for ever.

“En cuanto a Mí,” dice el Señor, “éste es Mi pacto con ellos ”: “Mi Espíritu que está sobre ti, y Mis palabras que he puesto en tu boca, no se apartarán de tu boca, ni de la boca de tu descendencia, ni de la boca de la descendencia de tu descendencia,” dice el Señor, “desde ahora y para siempre.”
