1 T he Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John;

La Revelación (El Apocalipsis) de Jesucristo, que Dios Le dio, para mostrar a Sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder pronto. El la dio a conocer ( la manifestó) enviándo la por medio de Su ángel a Su siervo Juan,

2 w ho bare witness of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, even of all things that he saw.

quien dio testimonio de la palabra de Dios y del testimonio de Jesucristo, y de todo lo que vio.

3 B lessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Bienaventurado (Feliz) el que lee y los que oyen las palabras de la profecía y guardan las cosas que están escritas en ella, porque el tiempo está cerca. Saludo a las Siete Iglesias

4 J ohn to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from him who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne;

Juan, a las siete iglesias que están en Asia (provincia occidental Romana de Asia Menor): Gracia y paz a ustedes, de parte de Aquél que es y que era y que ha de venir, y de parte de los siete Espíritus que están delante de Su trono,

5 a nd from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood;

y de parte de Jesucristo, el testigo fiel, el primogénito de los muertos y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra. Al que nos ama y nos libertó de nuestros pecados con Su sangre,

6 a nd he made us to be a kingdom, to be priests unto his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

e hizo de nosotros un reino, sacerdotes para Dios, Su Padre, a El sea la gloria y el dominio por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

7 B ehold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

El viene con las nubes, y todo ojo Lo verá, aun los que Lo traspasaron; y todas las tribus (linajes y razas) de la tierra harán lamentación por El. Sí. Amén.

8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

“Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega,” dice el Señor Dios, “el que es y que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso.” Visión de Cristo

9 I John, your brother and partaker with you in tribulation and kingdom and patience which are in Jesus, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

Yo, Juan, hermano de ustedes y compañero en la tribulación, en el reino y en la perseverancia en Jesús, me encontraba en la isla llamada Patmos, por causa de la palabra de Dios y del testimonio de Jesús.

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet

Estaba yo en el Espíritu en el día del Señor, y oí detrás de mí una gran voz, como sonido de trompeta,

11 s aying, What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches: unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

que decía: “Escribe en un libro lo que ves, y envía lo a las siete iglesias: a Efeso, Esmirna, Pérgamo, Tiatira, Sardis, Filadelfia y Laodicea.”

12 A nd I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And having turned I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Entonces me volví para ver de quién era la voz que hablaba conmigo, y al volverme, vi siete candelabros de oro.

13 a nd in the midst of the candlesticks one like unto a son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about at the breasts with a golden girdle.

En medio de los candelabros, vi a uno semejante al Hijo del Hombre, vestido con una túnica que Le llegaba hasta los pies y ceñido por el pecho con un cinto de oro.

14 A nd his head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

Su cabeza y Sus cabellos eran blancos como la blanca lana, como la nieve. Sus ojos eran como una llama de fuego.

15 a nd his feet like unto burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters.

Sus pies se parecían al bronce bruñido cuando se le ha hecho refulgir en el horno, y Su voz como el ruido de muchas aguas.

16 A nd he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

En Su mano derecha tenía siete estrellas, y de Su boca salía una espada aguda de dos filos. Su rostro era como el sol cuando brilla con toda su fuerza.

17 A nd when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,

Cuando Lo vi, caí como muerto a Sus pies. Y El puso Su mano derecha sobre mí, diciendo: “No temas, Yo soy el Primero y el Ultimo,

18 a nd the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

y el que vive, y estuve muerto. Pero ahora estoy vivo por los siglos de los siglos, y tengo las llaves de la muerte y del Hades (región de los muertos).

19 W rite therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which shall come to pass hereafter;

Escribe, pues, las cosas que has visto, y las que son, y las que han de suceder después de éstas.

20 t he mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are seven churches.

En cuanto al misterio de las siete estrellas que viste en Mi mano derecha y de los siete candelabros de oro: las siete estrellas son los ángeles (mensajeros) de las siete iglesias, y los siete candelabros son las siete iglesias.
