1 A fterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east.

Entonces el hombre me llevó a la puerta, la puerta que da hacia el oriente;

2 A nd, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shined with his glory.

y vi que la gloria del Dios de Israel venía de la parte del oriente. Su voz era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía de Su gloria.

3 A nd it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

Tenía el aspecto de la visión que vi, como la visión que había visto cuando El vino a destruir la ciudad; y las visiones eran como la visión que yo había visto junto al río Quebar. Entonces me postré sobre mi rostro.

4 A nd the glory of Jehovah came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

La gloria del Señor entró en el templo por el camino de la puerta que da hacia el oriente.

5 A nd the Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house.

Entonces el Espíritu me levantó y me llevó al atrio interior, y la gloria del Señor llenó el templo.

6 A nd I heard one speaking unto me out of the house; and a man stood by me.

Y oí a uno que me hablaba desde el templo, mientras el hombre estaba de pie junto a mí,

7 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;

y me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de Mi trono, el lugar de las plantas de Mis pies, donde habitaré entre los Israelitas para siempre. Y la casa de Israel no volverá a profanar Mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus prostituciones y con los cadáveres de sus reyes cuando mueran,

8 i n their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their door-post beside my door-post, and there was but the wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

poniendo su umbral junto a Mi umbral, y sus postes junto a Mis postes con sólo un muro entre ellos y Yo. Ellos han profanado Mi santo nombre con las abominaciones que han cometido; por eso los he consumido en Mi ira.

9 N ow let them put away their whoredom, and the dead bodies of their kings, far from me; and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

Que alejen ahora de Mí sus prostituciones y los cadáveres de sus reyes, y Yo habitaré entre ellos para siempre.

10 T hou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.

“Y tú, hijo de hombre, describe el templo a la casa de Israel, para que se avergüencen de sus iniquidades, y tomen las medidas de su plano.

11 A nd if they be ashamed of all that they have done, make known unto them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the egresses thereof, and the entrances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof; and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, enséñales el diseño del templo, su estructura, sus salidas, sus entradas, todos sus diseños, todos sus estatutos y todas sus leyes. Escribe esto ante sus ojos para que guarden todas sus leyes y todos sus estatutos, y los cumplan.

12 T his is the law of the house: upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

Esta es la ley del templo: todo su territorio sobre la cumbre del monte por todo alrededor será santísimo. Así es la ley del templo.

13 A nd these are the measures of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a handbreadth): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.

“Estas son las medidas del altar en codos ( cada codo real de un codo y un palmo menor): la base, 52. 5 centímetros (un codo real), el ancho, 52. 5 centímetros; su reborde en la orilla por todo alrededor, 26 centímetros (un palmo). Y ésta será su altura:

14 A nd from the bottom upon the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

desde la base en el suelo hasta el zócalo inferior será de 1. 05 metros, por un codo (52. 5 cm) de ancho; y desde el zócalo menor hasta el zócalo mayor será de 2. 1 metros, por 52. 5 centímetros de ancho.

15 A nd the upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.

El hogar del altar será de 2. 1 metros, y del hogar del altar se extenderán hacia arriba cuatro cuernos.

16 A nd the altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve broad, square in the four sides thereof.

El hogar del altar será de 6. 30 metros de largo por 6. 30 metros de ancho, cuadrado por sus cuatro lados.

17 A nd the ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen broad in the four sides thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit round about; and the steps thereof shall look toward the east.

Y el zócalo será de 7. 35 metros de largo por 7. 35 metros de ancho por sus cuatro lados; el borde alrededor será de 26. 25 centímetros, y su base, de 52. 5 centímetros alrededor; sus gradas mirarán al oriente.”

18 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt-offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

Y el hombre me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, así dice el Señor Dios: ‘Estos son los estatutos para el altar el día que sea construido, para ofrecer holocaustos sobre él y para esparcir sobre él sangre.

19 T hou shalt give to the priests the Levites that are of the seed of Zadok, who are near unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord Jehovah, a young bullock for a sin-offering.

A los sacerdotes Levitas que son de la descendencia de Sadoc, que se acercan a Mí para servirme,’ declara el Señor Dios, ‘darás un novillo de la vacada para la ofrenda por el pecado.

20 A nd thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse it and make atonement for it.

Y tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás sobre sus cuatro cuernos, en los cuatro ángulos del zócalo y en el borde todo alrededor; así lo limpiarás y harás expiación por él.

21 T hou shalt also take the bullock of the sin-offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

Luego tomarás el novillo para la ofrenda por el pecado, y será quemado en el lugar señalado del templo, fuera del santuario.

22 A nd on the second day thou shalt offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin-offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

Al segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto para la ofrenda por el pecado, y purificarás el altar como lo purificaron con el novillo.

23 W hen thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

Cuando hayas terminado de purificar lo, ofrecerás un novillo sin defecto de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño.

24 A nd thou shalt bring them near before Jehovah, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt-offering unto Jehovah.

Los ofrecerás delante del Señor, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos y los ofrecerán en holocausto al Señor.

25 S even days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin-offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

Durante siete días prepararás diariamente un macho cabrío para la ofrenda por el pecado; también serán preparados un novillo de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño.

26 S even days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it.

Durante siete días harán expiación por el altar y lo purificarán; así lo consagrarán.

27 A nd when they have accomplished the days, it shall be that upon the eighth day, and forward, the priests shall make your burnt-offerings upon the altar, and your peace-offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Cuando hayan terminado estos días, sucederá que del octavo día en adelante, los sacerdotes ofrecerán sobre el altar sus holocaustos y sus ofrendas de paz; y Yo Me complaceré en ustedes,’ declara el Señor Dios.”
