1 A fterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east.

Me llevó luego a la puerta, la que mira hacia el oriente,

2 A nd, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shined with his glory.

y vi que la gloria del Dios de Israel venía del oriente. Su sonido era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía a causa de su gloria.

3 A nd it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

El aspecto de lo que vi era como una visión, como aquella visión que vi cuando vine para destruir la ciudad; y las visiones eran como la visión que vi junto al río Quebar; y me postré sobre mi rostro.

4 A nd the glory of Jehovah came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

La gloria de Jehová entró en la casa por la vía de la puerta que daba al oriente.

5 A nd the Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house.

Entonces el espíritu me levantó y me llevó al atrio interior, y vi que la gloria de Jehová llenó la casa. Leyes del templo

6 A nd I heard one speaking unto me out of the house; and a man stood by me.

Entonces oí a alguien que me hablaba desde la casa, y un hombre estaba junto a mí.

7 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;

La voz me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, éste es el lugar de mi trono, el lugar donde posaré las plantas de mis pies, en el cual habitaré para siempre entre los hijos de Israel. Nunca más profanará mi santo nombre la casa de Israel (ni ellos ni sus reyes) con sus fornicaciones ni con los cadáveres de sus reyes en sus lugares altos.

8 i n their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their door-post beside my door-post, and there was but the wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

Porque poniendo ellos su umbral junto a mi umbral, y su contrafuerte junto a mi contrafuerte, mediando sólo una pared entre yo y ellos, han contaminado mi santo nombre con sus abominaciones que hicieron; por tanto, los consumí en mi furor.

9 N ow let them put away their whoredom, and the dead bodies of their kings, far from me; and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

Ahora arrojarán lejos de mí sus fornicaciones y los cadáveres de sus reyes, y habitaré en medio de ellos para siempre.

10 T hou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.

Tú, hijo de hombre, muestra a la casa de Israel esta casa: que se avergüencen de sus pecados y que midan el diseño de ella.

11 A nd if they be ashamed of all that they have done, make known unto them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the egresses thereof, and the entrances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof; and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, hazles entender el diseño de la casa, su disposición, sus salidas y sus entradas, todas sus formas, todas sus descripciones, todas sus configuraciones y todas sus leyes. Descríbelo delante de sus ojos, para que guarden todos sus detalles y todas sus reglas, y las pongan por obra.

12 T his is the law of the house: upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

Ésta es la ley de la casa: Sobre la cumbre del monte, el recinto entero, en todo su contorno, será santísimo. Ésta es la ley de la casa.»

13 A nd these are the measures of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a handbreadth): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.

Éstas son las medidas del altar por codos de a codo y palmo menor: la base, de un codo de alto y un codo de ancho; y la moldura de su borde alrededor, de un palmo. Éste será el zócalo del altar.

14 A nd from the bottom upon the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

Desde la base, a partir del suelo, hasta el zócalo inferior, dos codos; y la anchura, de un codo. Y desde la cornisa menor hasta la cornisa mayor, cuatro codos; y el ancho, de un codo.

15 A nd the upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.

El altar era de cuatro codos, y encima del altar había cuatro cuernos.

16 A nd the altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve broad, square in the four sides thereof.

El altar era un cuadrado de doce codos de largo y doce de ancho: tenía iguales sus cuatro lados.

17 A nd the ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen broad in the four sides thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit round about; and the steps thereof shall look toward the east.

El zócalo era de catorce codos de longitud y catorce de anchura en sus cuatro lados, y de medio codo el borde alrededor; la base era de un codo por cada lado, y sus gradas miraban hacia oriente.

18 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt-offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

Luego me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Éstas son las ordenanzas del altar el día en que sea hecho, para ofrecer holocausto sobre él y para derramar sangre sobre él.

19 T hou shalt give to the priests the Levites that are of the seed of Zadok, who are near unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord Jehovah, a young bullock for a sin-offering.

A los sacerdotes levitas que son del linaje de Sadoc y que se acerquen a mí, dice Jehová, el Señor, para ministrar ante mí, darás un becerro de la vacada, para expiación.

20 A nd thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse it and make atonement for it.

Tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás en los cuatro cuernos del altar, en las cuatro esquinas del zócalo y en el borde alrededor. Así lo purificarás y harás expiación por él.

21 T hou shalt also take the bullock of the sin-offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

Tomarás luego el becerro de la expiación y lo quemarás conforme a la ley de la casa, fuera del santuario.

22 A nd on the second day thou shalt offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin-offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

El segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto, para expiación; y purificarán el altar como lo purificaron con el becerro.

23 W hen thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

Cuando acabes de expiar, ofrecerás un becerro de la vacada, sin defecto, y un carnero, sin tacha, de la manada.

24 A nd thou shalt bring them near before Jehovah, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt-offering unto Jehovah.

Los ofrecerás delante de Jehová. Los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos y los ofrecerán en holocausto a Jehová.

25 S even days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin-offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

Durante siete días sacrificarán un macho cabrío cada día, en expiación; asimismo sacrificarán el becerro de la vacada y un carnero, sin tacha, del rebaño.

26 S even days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it.

Durante siete días harán expiación por el altar y lo purificarán, y así lo consagrarán.

27 A nd when they have accomplished the days, it shall be that upon the eighth day, and forward, the priests shall make your burnt-offerings upon the altar, and your peace-offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Acabados estos días, del octavo día en adelante, los sacerdotes sacrificarán sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestras ofrendas de paz. Así me seréis aceptos, dice Jehová, el Señor.»
