Cuando estornuda, lanza relámpagos; sus ojos son como los párpados del alba.

De su boca salen llamaradas; centellas de fuego brotan de ella.

20 O ut of his nostrils a smoke goeth, As of a boiling pot and burning rushes.

De sus narices sale humo, como de una olla o caldero que hierve.

21 H is breath kindleth coals, And a flame goeth forth from his mouth.

Su aliento enciende los carbones; de su boca salen llamas.

22 I n his neck abideth strength, And terror danceth before him.

En su cerviz está su fuerza, y delante de él cunde el desaliento.

23 T he flakes of his flesh are joined together: They are firm upon him; they cannot be moved.

Aun las partes más tiernas de su carne están endurecidas, son firmes en él, no se mueven.

24 H is heart is as firm as a stone; Yea, firm as the nether millstone.

Firme es como una piedra su corazón, fuerte como la piedra de un molino.

25 W hen he raiseth himself up, the mighty are afraid: By reason of consternation they are beside themselves.

Cuando se levanta, los fuertes tienen temor y retroceden a causa de su desfallecimiento.

26 I f one lay at him with the sword, it cannot avail; Nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft.

Aunque la espada lo alcance, no se le clavará; ni tampoco la lanza, el dardo o la jabalina.

Para él, el hierro es como paja y el bronce como madera podrida.
